How we can maintain challan qty in receiving

I want to maintain the challan qty along with the received qty, accepted qty and rejectect qty.
Example,
invoice /Challan have 10 no of pens (Challan qty= 10)
actual received qty is 8 no. 2 piece are shortage (received qty = 8)
out of 8, 2 no of pens were found defective (2 no rejected, rejected qty=2). Hece after inspection 6 no of pens accepted (accepted qty = 6) and 6 no of pens goes to inventory also.
In standard receving form how i can maintain the challan qty ? In this case that is 10 no of pens.

From what you have described, you can use a Quality Plan. The plan would need to include the columns you mentioned and require the input of the different values mentioned.

Dear Gurus,
What is the Exact Role of Target Qty in Scheduling Agreement.
I have an issue here is even if the Target Qty is reached , system generates schedule lines through MRP.
How we can restrict the generation of schedule line if Target Qty is reached.
One way is to control though source list. But this option is ok if I am handling few items. But If there are more than thousand items , then it will be difficult to remove from source list one by one .Also I have to track all those items whose target qty is over.. If u get any other way to handle this please let me know.
Please help in resolving the issue.

I have checked ,and aslo saw Note 83343 -but no solution yet.
But I thik system will generate schedule line or PR (through MRP) if there is requirement.
Since if in the material master is MRP relavant field are maintained and source list is maintained with proper in indicator .
Then whenever there is any MRP relavant Change (Goods issue , Receipt etc) , an entry will be made in planning file entry (NETCH,NETPL) and system will generate schedule .
Hence to resolve the subject issue ,it is better to remove the the item from souce list and MRP (No Planning -ND).then system will not genrate Schedule.

How can we control qty

Dear Experts,
I have a scenario that I have ordered a packaged item as item qty as 1 no. & vendor sends that material as 1 no. but this 1 no. consists of 20 boxes. So, I will be creating GR for 1 no. My question is, where can I make entry of these 20 boxes & suppose I have to issue some part qty lets say 5 nos., how we can keep track of issue & balance qty.
Also I would like to know, at the time of GR, I would like to capture the details what each box contains then where I can store this information.

You can two unit of measure for the same material in material master
One will Base Unit of Measure maintained in Basic Data 1 veiw
Second with be Ordering Unit maintained in Purchasing View.
So in you can case Order unit as Nos while Base unit can be in Boxes.
Please maintain conversion between these two in Additional Data tab.

To elaborate better.
Again, use Tcode CUNI - Unit of measurement : Initial Screen.
At initial screen, choose TIME from the list (where by default AAAADL- no dimensions is there).
And click on UNIT OF MEASUREMENT button.
In that you will find MON - Month.
There go for details by selecting MON or select MON and press F5 from Key board.
For MON unit maintain following parameter as per your requirement:
-Number of decimal places for number display
Use - This parameter determines the number of decimal places with which this measurement unit is displayed.
-Base ten exponent for floating-point display
Use - This exponent determines how the values for this measurement unit are formatted as floating point numbers.
Examples - If the exponent is 3, the floating point numbers have the format xxx.xxxxE3.
And deselect commercial meas. unit in application parameters section.
I would suggest instead of changing standard settings of MON, you create ZMON in TIME dimension.

IP Job in BW finished, but how can I check the IDoc receive status in BW ?

After I execute a Infopackage with loading more than 200000 records data, the infopackage monitor show me yellow light, 186020 from 200000 records. this infomation still show me till now, seaval hours,it looks pause here.
And I check the request in the R/3, the Job has finished. as you know it means the R/3 push the IDoc already finished.
and how can I do now ? or how can I check the IDoc receive status in BW side?

I too had the same problem, i executed the following to solve the proble, may be this will help you:
1) Go to T-code SM58 and select TRFC and press F6,
2) For manual push of I-Docs, GO to T-COde BD87 select perticular idoc and see the status if it is not executed properly then do the manual push by pressing Execute option,

Aperture is Apples version of Lightroom. This has nothing to do with Adobe. Ask on a Apple forum. You won't find many people here using this program.

I think there is not native rule for this, but you could try a transport rule which removes all attachments over a very small file size like 1KB.

I have finally figured out how to export an iphoto album so that I can maintain the proper order of the photos after burning the file. How do I keep each individual photo title and description after exporting and burning? Presently after exporting and burning each photo is identified by the file name rather than each individual title description.

File name and Title are not the same thing.
Filename is attached to the Jpeg file in the Finder.
Title is attached to the photo within the Jpeg file - as is the description. These are written to the Exif and IPTC metadata on export.
So: File -> Export. Kind: Jpeg or Tiff and Check the box at 'Title and Keywords'. This will write the Title, keywords and descriptions (though not explicitly stated) to the metadata. This can then be viewed in any app that understand this material.
You can choose, if you wish, to also use the Title as a Filename - that's an option at File Name

AS2 Adapter.. How i can receive the MDN messages?

Doing IDOC to EDI scenario.
Iam using AS2 adapter to send the messages to partner system and i need to receive the MDN from partner system.
1. what are configuration settings i need to provide in AS2 receiver adapter?
2. I need to put option as Refer MDN to XI system..?
3. Is it necessary to create one more Sender channel and sender agreement to recevie the MDN?
4. Why we have the option as Asynchronous MDN settings in AS2 sender adapter ?.
Kindly let me know if anyone knows the answers.

So if i want to do the scenario for Idoc to EDI.
then the steps will be..
1.
- AS2 rcv adapter -- to send the message to partner.
- all remaining steps like sx agreement,rx agreement,interface deter,Rx determination to send the actual msg.
2.
- Again one AS2 sender channel to receive the MDN from partner for the same scenario
- one sender agreement for MDN.
TO receive the MDN.. no need of rx agreement,interface determination,rx agrrement??
If we want to see the MDN.. how we can see it?
3.I have a scenario where, once i receive my MDN message and with the help of Data in MDN message , i need to update my custom table in SAP by inbound processing.Is it possible??

AS2 Sender adapter.. How we can receive 2 messages from same partner??

Hi all,
I have to receive 2 AS2 messages from my partner like ORDERS and REMADV information.
I kept Message Subject as * for both my AS2 Sender adapters.
I configured both the scenarios and i ask my partner to send the messages and he got the error as
"403 : FORBIDDEN" .
But these two scenarios are working when i delete one scenario and run the other by keeping message subject as *
I felt like the messages can be diffferentiated only with Message subject when we are dealing with AS2 adapters.
Questions :
Is there any option in AS2 sender adapter where we can differentiate the messages apart from Message subject because my partners are sending the messages without any message subject.
Kindly let me know.. its urgent.

I think you totally misunderstood my question.
Here i will explain clearly..
Sender Party : PartyA
Sender AS2ID : A-AS2
Recevier party: PartyB
Receiver AS2ID : B-AS2
PartyB will be receiving messages from PartyA.
Say it is receving ORDERS and REMADV messages.Both are XML files.
So PartyB will be configured with two complete new scenarios and 2 AS2 sender adapters to receive the messages.I kept Message subject as * in both the sender adapters.
The messages are not coming in and clearly there is a confilct in selecting the correct communication channel.
Actually i read in one of the thread that the messages which are coming to XI will be picked up based on two things:
1) AS2 ID of the partner which is dicussed above and the second one is
2) Message subject
But from my partners we are receving the messages without any Message subject.
So in this situation how we can differentiate each messages and how the messages will go to correct communication channel.??
