How we may by pass quality inspection during PO creation

Hi Guru,
How we may by pass quality inspection via selecting document type in the PO. User create dummy PO in multi level marketing indsutry in order to achieve points & awards during month end. Since all the materials subject to quality inspection, material in dummy PO also falls under quality inspection. For your kind information there is no physical movement or GR for this dummy PO. It's just created in the system as I mentioned the purpose the above. I already created seperate document type to diffrentiate this scenario but looking forward how we may by pass quality inspection for this document type. Or is that any t/code which can by pass quality inspection during PO creation. Please advice. Thank you.

Dear Netto,
As I said before user need to create dummy PO & must do GR in order to get the rewards & bonuses. User do GR in the system but it doesn't involve material movement. My question is how we may by pass the quality inspection for said GR since physically no goods involved.
Dear JS,
For your kind information this material subject to quality inspection & it has been set in material master. I tried one more as per your advice. System post this GR to quality inspection eventhough I change to unrestricted use in PO & GR as well before posting maid. Quality Inspection is auto defaulted for said material. Quality inspection is requirement to most of the goods so I can't change that. I'm wondering how we may by pass this just for dummy PO & GR.
I believe this clarifies your queries. Thank you.

  • How to consider sample qty of raw material's quality inspection during mrp.

    hi expert.
i have to consider sample qty of raw material's quality inspection during mrp.
i am wondering how to implement it.
    is this possible?
    thank you~~!!

    Hi Seung Hyun,
I think it depends on the sample quantity, whether it is a fixed quantity or it depends to the raw material quantity or requirement from the orders. If it is not fixed, then you can use scrap percentage as suggested by Vivek.
If it is fixed quantity, then there are several alternatives to follow:
Include the sample quantity to your safety stock
Create another material number to distinguish the sample from the original raw material number and include it in the BOM

  • How to consider 'Stock in quality inspection' in SNP

    Hi Senthil,
I followed the steps you have given, but I'm still not able to see the value populating in my SNP Planning tables.
I created ZCC - ATP Category group and assigned CI, CK ATP category for Blocked stock and restricted stock.  I added 9AADDKF2 in my SNP planning area and changed the semantic to 000 to make it livecache order KF. I assigned the ATP Category group ZCC to this KF and saved the planning area. After activation, I went to my planning view, but this KF value is not populated.
Is there something I'm missing here?
    Thanks,

    HI,
Go to QA 32 , you can see the list of inspection lots .
You can do result recording & Usage decision.
During usage decision , you can do the stock posting (Unrestricted , returm delivery)  from the stock posting tab in UD screen.
Ref the link below for more details.

  • Quality Inspection with Intervals

    Dear All,
We have a requirement where in our client wants that during GRN of bought out material, every alternate GRN should go for Quality Inspection setup. THis frequency can be variable though. How can this be achieved in system. Please note that we are not managing material in batches.
    Regards,
    Raj

As explained by Dev, there is no functionality in standard SAP to alternatively determine the quality inspection during GRN. Either it will pick the stock for quality inspection or it will not. You can go for your own logic and alter the goods movement exit or BADI. Although it is still a relatively difficult logic to devise, considering the system to fetch the last goods receipt document from the table for a particular material and check whether it was in quality inspection or in unrestricted.
Can you elaborate what is the business reasoning behind such uniqueness. if a material has QM activated then it is supposed to be inspected every time a new stock is received. Does the business want to create some sort of sampling technique for quality inspection?

  • Quality Inspection in WM

    Dear All,
    I have 2 questions:
    1) I want to receive materials under quality inspection during MIGO. How? I only managed to do it by entering Q at the PO.
    2) After receiving quantities in quality inspection, how to transfer them in Unrestricted in WM?
    best regards

    hi
    here is the process.
For a Material with Inspection setup in QM view of material
    master.
    step1
The moment you post  GR , the stock will be received into QI
    status in IM
and in WM stock will be under  storage type  GR Area External
    Rcpts Q status .
    Step2.
Using LT06 create a TO for the Material document
IM stock will be in QI status
WM stock will be under selected storage type (during  TO
    processing ) in QI status.
    step3.
Then complete the usage decision against the Inspection lot using
    QA32.
movement type 321 is triggered  and stock moves from QI to
    unrestricted stock in IM.
    step4.
Confirm the TO created in Step 3.
    step 5.
create a TO against PCN created in Step 3.
    and confirm.
Stock will be in unrestricted status , available stock in WM.
Since you are saying that stock is in Q status at WM level.
pl. check if any PCN, TO is open for the Material
and try to close those by either creating a TO against PCN - LT05
or confirm if TO exist by using Lt12.
    Thanks
    Prasanna

  • Inspection during production

    Hi All,
Please clarify  my doubt on Quality inspection during production.
We are using inspection type - "04 - Goods receipt inspection from production" for inspection during production.
Once after inspection if we reject a sub assembly for rework and move the part to block stock, we raise a notification to the concern department.
Now after production does a rework, how can we receive the sub assembly back to unrestricted used through Quality route and reflect the same in my notification.
If there is some other standard process of inspection during production and rework then please throw some light on it.
    Thanks & Regds,
    Ritesh

    QM>Qualty Notif.>Notif. processing>Additional notif. Functions>Define Action Box
In the next pop-up screen select Define functions for the Action box
To research this I would look at notification Q1.  Select Q1.  Double Click on Activities.
Double click on 0035 - post goods movement.
you will see this action uses FM QM06_FM_TASK_GOODS_MOVEMENT_2.  It is configured to run a second module upon saving called QM06_FM_TASK_GOODS_MOVEMENT_STEP2.
Click on the blue information button to read more about these FM's.
Copy these FM's and have an APAB'er modify them for your use.  Add an action to your particular notification using these the new Z FM's.

  • Purchase order GR need to post to Quality inspection stock

    Hi all,
How to post stock to Quality inspection directly for a PO. Even though in GR i make sure that its posting in Quality inspection, by default it is going to Urestricted stock. How to fix this by posting stock to Quality inspection directly?
    Thanks,
    Avani.

    Hi Avani,
    Pre-requesite:-
QM should be live at plant level.
Data toeb maintained in QM view.
You need to activate inspection type 01 (For GR against Purchase Order) and 04 (For GR from Production, against Process Order) in QM view of Material Master. Doing this all the GR quantity will be posted in Quality stock automatically.
If QM is not live, you need to activate the "Post to insp. Stock" inidicator in Materail master QM view.
Update us to help you more, reward points to help you better!!!

  • How to set a vendor as fixed vendor during PR creation

    Dear experts,
There is a field in PR for fixed vendor. How this fiexed vendor determined by SAP during PR creation. How can i ensure that certain vendor will be selected automatically as fixed vendor for some material and service so that during PO creation for the PR , used donot need to put vendor.
    Kindly help
    Thank you.
    Best

    Hi,
Create  source list(ME01) for material and you can fix the vendor by entering vendor number ( also you can have period duration From & To of fixing)& selecting check box Fixed Source of Supply & save.
Now during creation of PR (ME51N), select the check box of source determination, then enter other  details and save.
    OR
You can go for Quota arrangement process & the details are in the link:

  • Fits attribute on user id during user creation (Cont)

    Hi Experts,
A little time ago , we posted some doubt regarding of how can we fits the attribute userID during user creation on User Interface.
The previous discussion was posted here:
"Fits attribute on user id during user creation"
    Link abou our issue "scn.sap.com/thread/3532549"
    As the Correct Answer:
Alternative 2, add a To IdentityStore pass as part of the task workflow where your logic is implemented in a jscript:
    MSKEYVALUE=%MSKEYVALUE%
    ****AD_USER_ID=$FUNCTION.GENADUSERID(%MX_FIRSTNAME%!!%MX_LASTNAME%)$$
The script is running very well, but when we create a new employee on HR System (No SAP) this this script is not running just for this new user but for all other users already exitents on IDM. The script increase in Mass an not just for new user.
Does anyone know if this can be related with delta configuration, or this kind of validation ( create just for new employe placed on HR) needs to be done inside the script?
    THank you very much.
    Miguel

    Hello Miguel,
is the "Create Identity"-task called by the HR-update-job?
The screenshot in the old thread just shows the three inputs. I guess, there are some more in the used task. Did you check, if the other lines have the dot as a prefix, so that these attributes are only filled (and therefor the script only runs), when the entry is created, but not updated?
If yes and it's missing for those two attributes, just add it.

  • How many TO need to create for Quality inspection material

    Dear all,
When we do GR's ,TR is created & material is goes for quality inspection .
So after UD, PCN is created so for this PCN we need to Create & Confirm TO.
So my question is what we do for open TR which was created after GR posting.
DO we have to create TO for this TR.
I mean how TO get's created in this process?
    Please help me out.
    Regards,
    Rock

    what do you do physically?
    a) do you keep the stock in goods receipt area until it is released from the Q status
    b) or do you putaway that stock into its destination bins before it is released from Q-status
in both cases you use the TR that was automatically created during goods receipt to create the TO.
in case a) you just execute LU04 to process the posting change notice to change the stock status from Q to unrestricted  prior to creation of the TO.
in case b) you create the TO directly and process the PCN in LU04 later when the usage decision was made.
part B can create some difficulties (especially if you setup automatic processing) as you may get several quants because the material need more than one destination bin, while you just have 1 quant in the GR area 902.  So SAP may not be able to determine the quant that needs to be released from Q status by itself, and user has to select those quants manually.
