•How do I get them out of Keychain?
•If I end up needing my password for Keychain, how do I find that out? I have the like start up CD, but I dont remember ever making a password.
•And if I do retreive my Keychain Password some how, will that delete everything stored in Keychain? I would have just tried it, but its a lot of passwords I CAN NOT lose...

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you boot, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, reboot as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test. -

it is mentioned about J2EE Connector Architecture as a data source. In the omni portlet data source type it is not listed. How can I configure and use it for data source?
I am using 9.0.4 version of Portal

I have set up time machine, but it keeps saying that it will delete old backups?
If, for example, I wanted to delete my entire iphoto album because it is taking up too much room, will it still be there? Because, with the fact that it updates hourly and states that it will 'delete old back-ups' does that mean that at one point, the 'old back-up' that contains all my photos could disappear? Really need help here!! I'm finding it difficult to explain so if you need more explanation, then please let me know!!Backups are extra copies of original files, in case there's a problem with the originals.
They are not extra space for the "overflow" that won't fit on your internal HD.
That's true of all backup apps, but since Time Machine does automatically delete things, you should never delete originals intentionally. Depending on when backups are run, the backup copies may be deleted in as little as 24 hours, or kept for as long as there's room on the backup drive.
For best results, you need another external HD to copy the "overflow" files to, then delete from your Mac's HD.
And have Time Machine back up both your Mac's internal HD and the storage drive.
Be sure to format a storage drive for a Mac, so Time Machine can back it up, per #1 in Using Disk Utility.
To have it backed-up by Time Machine, remove it from the exclusion list in Time Machine Preferences > Options, by selecting it and clicking the minus sign.
Most files can be just dragged to the storage drive via the Finder.

Scenario:
We are trying to establish connectivity to a CTG using the new JCA connector specifications.
We have our input in the form of a string but the Interaction.execute(ioRecord, ioRecord object specifies record object as parameters.
How do we create a record that correctly represents our current input string?
Is there a predetermined record format that we must use for out connection or can we create our own record?

I'm contemplating using BADIs but need more info beforehand

I just read few blogs and articles on BADIs and therefore, am kinda green in this area. But BADIs seem to be a way out of a problem that I am facing now. I must add a new field to a report generated by transaction MB25 which is a standard SAP transaction / report / code.
BADIs seem to be able to provide me with a mechanism of adding this field. However, I have few questions before going the BADI way.
1) If I understand correctly, in order for a BADI to work, I must have BADI spots and insertion POINTs. Supposing the existing or implemented BADI points are not good enough for my purpose and are not at the right place in the program. Does this mean I have to touch or edit SAP's code in order to introduce new insertion points?
2) This would mean editing standard SAP code. Is this really allowed?
3) Now let us imagine that I do this. What happens when there is an upgrade by SAP? What happens to my code, the insertion point and everything else that goes with it? Do I have to re-asses the insertion point, etc...?

1. You can introduce new insertion point. Either you have to use the given BAdi or you can just use the enhancement-point provided.
2 No. It is not actually editing SAP code. it is adding your code at the spot where SAp recommends.
3 It will not be touched during upgrade.

How is data loaded from Infocube to Planning area - need technical info
I would like to find out how data is loaded from cube to planning area ,
I know that CUBE has tables, but how does that get loaded to planning area , where is the mapping from which I can compare
data in CUBE and the same data that reaches planning area.
Say for example I have below values in the infocube

Then where do i check in the planning area tables ( are there any tables mapped) after running the TSINPUT program, i know it can be checked in the planning book , but i want to check in planning area tables if they exiHi ,
The data is loaded from infocube to planning area using update rules. The issue you have mentioned seems to be two requests are having data for the same CVCs in the cube.
Example: For the same CVC, two requests avilable in the infocube. When you copy the data using TSCUBE transaction, whatever data avilable in the cube for the CVC gets copied into Planning Area.
CVC1 - cube - Old Request - 100
CVC1 - cube - Actual Request - 200
CVC1 - Planning Area = 300 ( The value is supposed to be 200, but since the old request also contains data in the cube for the cvc, it gets copied as 300)
Issue : There might two request contains data for the same code
Solution : 1. Check the data in the cube using transaction LISTCUBE 2. Delete old request and check the data agian. 3. If it matches with your requirement, run the TSCUBE again.
