How/where can i download old Apple keynotes ?
I would like to download previous Apple keynote presentations, like WWDC, etc...
All of you responding thus far have been misinterpreting the original poster's inquiry. They are not asking about the presentation app Keynote. They are asking about the Apple WWDC Keynote Presentations.
As to the answer to the question originally asked, this is the App Store community forum. So I can see how the others got confused. Next time ask your question in the appropriate forum.
You can find old WWDC keynotes in iTunes' Podcasts section. Just search for "Apple Keynotes" and you'll find them no problem.
The SD versions go back to 2007, the HD ones only as far back as 2011.
If you want to keep any of the presentation videos, it might be a good idea to click the little cloud icon to download the podcast episode from the server.

How/where can i download iwork in its entirety the app store talks about iwork but i cant locate it
iWork is Pages, Numbers and Keynote.
Buy all three from the M.A.S. and it is all yours, cheaper and installable on all Macs that share the same Apple I.D.. However I have heard, but can't confirm, that that doesn't quite have everything the DVD version had.

Where can I download the Apple Podcast app for my iPad?
HELP!!! Where can I download the Apple Podcast app for my iPad? I urgently needed space to snap some photos, so I quickly deleted several low priority apps to make space. One of those was the apple Podcast app which I now can't find anywhere.
There is no Podcasts app that "comes with" the iPad. It is made by Apple but you have to download it. See if this direct link works:

Where can I download the Apple.Schema and the Samba.Schema files?
I'm messing around with trying to use an OpenLdap server (on Ubuntu) to authenticate Mac Clients.
Of course, I need to load the apple schema to do that. Where can I download it? (I do not have a copy of OSX Server to copy it from....)You can find schemas into the folder : /etc/openldap/schema/ in every Macintosh running 10.5
Here are they :

Where can I download an Apple technical manual
I saw in a reply to an iMac CRT question that Kenichi Watanabe mentioned an Apple tech manual pdf he was able to download. Can anyone tell me how to find where to download an Apple tech manual? I want to swap the CRTs between to iMac G3s and I need a procedure to follow,as I have seen many warnings about high voltage discharge from the CRT and I'd rather not risk electrocution. Thanx, and happy holidays to all,
If you have a slot-load iMac G3, this is the link: <http://mrjcd.com/slot-loadiMac_repair/slot-loadimac.pdf>
This is a 14MB pdf file.
If you have a tray-load iMac G3, this is the link: <http://mrjcd.com/tray-loadiMacrepair/imac.pdf>
This is a 9MB pdf file.
I don't know why you are getting a message regarding QuickTime??? You will need a broadband internet connection (or a lot of time) in order to download either of these files. Some web browsers will open a pdf file (if the browser has the Adober Reader plugin). So, it will either open in your browswer or download, depending... -
Where can i download older Apple Event Movies?
Hi all
Does anyone know a website where i can download older apple event movies? For example the macworld keynote where the first G5 was presented? Thank you very much for any info you can get me. I hope you understand my english
Greetings
Christian
Macbook Black Mac OS X (10.4.7) 1.2GB RAM, 7200RPM HDDWelcome to the discussions, Christian.
There was a site that had gotten all the event movies and had posted them, but they were removed by Apple. I don't think there's anywhere you can actually download the movies from, though most can still be streamed from pages on Apple's site. -
How/where can I download FCP 5.1.2 updater?
As most people know by now, FCP 5.1.3 breaks critical plugins like Automatic Duck Colorista. I absolutely, positively need these for my workflow.
Why the **** did Apple completely pull the 5.1.2 updater off the website? I updated to 5.1.3 because I was excited to see that it fixed one of my major issues (the stills & nested sequence issue), but Iʻm now livid that in doing so, they broke an even bigger component of FCP.
Now before Shane Ross replies to this post with a link to his (awesome) blog, where he preaches about saving local copies of each FCP updater, I have to say that I wasnʻt that smart to do just that...but I donʻt need to be admonished for my dumbdumbness, i just need to get up and running again.
Can any kind soul provide a download link for the 5.1.2 updater?
(on my hands and knees, begging)Once Apple posts the new update, old ones are removed. Stinks. If you ask me, they should have ALL updated versions posts. Just makes sense.
Sorry that I posted what you should have done. I am hoping that I can show you what to do in the future. And I really wish that I had a link to post that would contain the 5.1.2 upgrade. And the 5.1.1, as the 5.1.2 upgrade breaks the P2 import option for many many people.
I'll dig.

How/where can I download Lightroom 5.5 Update ?
My standalone (not Cloud !) Lightroom on my Windows PC tells me I can/should update to Version 5.5. I have been thrashing around through a jungle of Adobe webpages in an attempt to download that version. The nearest I get is an invitation to download a Trial version which (a) I don't want and (b) leads me on to questions about my skill level etc. Other pages seem to be obsessed with "Cloud solutions" but I want the standalone version. I am beginning to suspect that I am deliberately being led up a garden path here with the objective of getting me to convert to Cloud.
Does anyone here know where there is a simple one-click link which will allow me to download the Lightroom 5.5 Windows Update ?Thanks for your replies. To JohnHawk: not condescending at all.
PROBLEM NOW SOLVED even if the solution leaves me puzzled.
I use Firefox as my default browser.
When I fire up my Lightroom 5.4 like yours - it more or less immediately comes up with the window
=============================================
5.5
Support for syncing star ratings and custom sort order to Lightroom mobile and Lightroom web.
Fixes for bugs introduced in earlier versions of Lightroom 5.
Camera support for additional new lenses and cameras.
Current version : 5.4 (build 955652)
=============================================
and at the bottom right of that window there is a Download button. However, when I click on that it takes me in Firefox to Adobe - Lightroom : For Windows : Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5.5 but when I select "Lightroom" on that page it takes me to Photo editor app | Download free Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5 trial which contains acres of Lightroom ads but no "Download" button apart from the "Free trial".
I looked around to see whether my Firefox is blocking something but no success there. I also tried it with Windows IE by copy-pasting the URL from the Firefox browser tab to Windows IE. Same useless result as with Firefox.
Then, doggedly determined to try everything on an arbitrary basis, I changed my default browser to Windows IE and re-clicked on the Download button at the bottom right. Bingo ! Problem solved ! The old familiar Lightroom download page popped up in the IE browser, I clicked on Download, and it is now busily downloading.
So the SOLUTION for my Windows PC/Internet Explorer/Firefox setup but possibly not of use to others is to run IE as the default browser for the purposes of updating Lightroom. I have no idea why that works and copy-pasting the URL to IE doesn't but, heck, it works for me. As a senior surgeon once said to me "Don't think, my boy, it only inhibits !".
Again, thanks for taking time to offer solutions. -
Where can I download the Apple yellow pages widget?
I recently had my HD replaced and the yellow pages widget is now gone. I can't find it on the Apple Dashboard widgets web page either.
Can someone tell me where I can get it? It was one of the most useful widgets I had.The "Business" Widget is part of your OS X system /library/widgets and you can use Pacifist to extract and install just that application from your install disks.
Or you can email me and I'll send it to you.

Where can I send 'old' Apple equipment too
Hello out there
Over the years I have, as most people also have I assume, accumulated quite a lot of 'old' and subsided Apple equipment, for example old MacBook Pro, Gen 2 iPods, AirPort Express Base stations and AirPort Extreme Base station, cabels etc.
Would not like to put into the usual rubbish as maybe someone has use for it.....
Any suggestions? I live in Alice Springs Central Australia
Thank you
IngolfHi Ingolf,
I wish we were a little closer to each other, I'd be happy to take care of those for you.
I suspect there's someone like me a lot closer to you, maybe Craigslist Australia?
http://geo.craigslist.org/iso/au
Or whatever local classified advertising you might have around you. Around here a lot of stores have bulletin boards in the entryways and people can put up just about anything they want to. I'm sure a big FREE sign would attract some collectors.

Where can I download old version of adobe connect mobile app?
We are using old version of Adobe connect Pro (version <7.5)
The recent version of Adobe connect mobile app does not work with our server.
I want to get old version of adobe connect mobile app.
Thanks,
JD ParkIf you are producing software how do you detect the Firefox version and show whether or not it is compatible ? You may be interested in http://hacks.mozilla.org/2012/01/firefox-goes-2-digit-time-to-check-your-ua-sniffing-scripts/
If you are, or your clients are in a corporate environment there is a possibility that Firefox ESR will be in use.
* https://wiki.mozilla.org/Enterprise#How_to_Participate_and_Post
* http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/organizations/
My understanding is that ESR has been brought out primarily to deal with this sort of problem ensuring software may be certified in an enterprise, and does not change as often (so it will remain as Firefox 10 with point releases for a while).
