I am a newbie here. How and where do I download my Illustrator CC?

Ok... laugh, joke make fun or whatever but have to do password reset and I hear I need to reinstall mac os x. Problem is...when I install cd nothing happens. Please advise how to get this installation to take place so I can go to the utilities menu and change this pswd? I tried something that worked for me...
Knowing that after my install of Windows 7 wasn't the correct method (didn't go through bootcamp), and the BootCamp 4.x package wouldn't install under windows 7, I tried reinstalling Bootcamp 4.x in Windows 7 to see what the exact message was it gave me. The message said it couldn't install because of a 32-bit O.S. vs a 64-bit version of the package.
So that got me thinging - my XP version was 32-bit, and so is my Windows 7 installation. So I tried installing the bootcamp that came with my Mac OS X installation CD. This is bootcamp version 3.1.
Not only did it install, but it practically took care of everything driver-wise for me. I was then able to see my wireless network, enter my password and I was connected. The only thing else I had to do to get on the Internet was bring IE8 online (guess it ships offline by default). Firewall and Antivirus are now installed, just a few more things to go.
That's one thing that's just not clear that I'll be sure to note for next time... The Bootcamp packages you download are actually driver packages for Windows. That is where the Windows drivers exists that are necessary to make your Windows 7 PC work on a bootcamp partition!
I didn't need the AirPoirt Utility at all (at least, I never went into it).
Thanks VikingOSX for your post. I will not need to follow the steps you provided, but they may help someone else as all of these bootcamp issues I've been reading seem to be very unique per installation.
Hopefully my solution helps others.

I would like to re-intstall CS6 - it is not a CC version - for working on a macbook. I bought my version in 2012, my serie-number exists on Adobe site

How to download and install Illustrator CS5?

I am trying to download and install CS5 however Adobe Download Assistant doesn't download anything.
All the time it shows no soft after logging in. I have tried some forum advices in the context, but with no effect.
To add to this:
I have changed my profile password few days ago, and... after changing it I was logging using the new pasword.
Today, I have to use old password again. And even more interesting is that on my profile it shows no orders which were there
before: Flash CS5 and DW CS5.
For Gods sake! What are You doing out there? Change the IT specialist or something Guys, because it becomes pitiful at the moment.

I guess You're right, but Chrome collects data about it's users and I don't like to deliver it to Google. No particular reason for this, but i somehow don't like the idea of being followed and my consumer model to be created.
However the thing with my password on Adobe keeps me really wondering...

You should uninstall, just deleting something will most likely create a mess.
After that you should run the Cleaner Tool to get rid of whichever strangenesses might otherwise linger.

And then you should be able to reinstall. You may need to restart the Creative Cloud application by quitting and relaunching it.

You can install the new hard disk yourself if you want to. You just need a 2'5" SATA II hard drive, which is compatible with your MacBook Pro. You can buy one at OWC > http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/hard-drives/2.5-Notebook/ You can filter hard drives by computer, so press a "Click to view all...", choose your computer in the sidebar and it will give you the compatible hard drives.
There are different brands for the MacBook Pro. The most recommended are HGST and Seagate, which have good reputation. A 7200 rpm hard drive will give you extra performance

How to boot from external Hardisk where sap is installed

Hi friends,
I have an External Hardisk where SAP is installed in it i.e., Win 2003 on C drive & SAP on D drive.
In my laptop Win XP is there, but I am trying to boot with External Hardisk where Win 2003 is installed.
I am selecting to boot from External Hardisk where Win 2003 is installed but it shows the Win 2003 booting screen and the next moment screen becomes black.
So can anyone help me How to boot from Hardisk.

Hi,
You can not boot OS from USB devices in Windows.
Create the separate drive on your existing disc and install windows on that drive and use ur USB disc for installing SAP.

On the Creative Cloud Desktop app you have a option top install Previous versions. You can select that and then you can install Illustrator 17.

You can redownload previously purchased apps from the App Store using the same Apple ID on all your authorized Macs for free.
How to re download apps from the Mac App Store:
Open the App Store. From the menu bar click Store > Sign In
Click Purchases from the top of the App Store window.
Select which apps you want to re download. Then right or control click where you see Installed then click Install.
Make sure and use the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.
