How will i know if apple denied warranty replacement

Ive heard alot of horror stories that apple refuses to replace or fix phones ipads etc... under warranty and im just curious as to how i would know if my repair is going thru or if anyone knows what it would say on the repair status page ?? Im just curious bc i have been waiting a while without a phone and if anyone knows if they will email me saying your phone cannot be replaced etc... or if the repair status thingy will say something

On that page ( I am showing you mine - where I have no pending issues ) there is a pane on the right side that has two 'Folder-Like' icons - when you click one, it will open up another detail of that topic showing all current activity. If they are grayed out like mine, that means you have nothing in that system.
If you took your iPhone to the Genius Bar at the AppleStore, call the AppleStore and ask them your warranty question (they really should have told you up front, as they are very knowledgeable and helpful)

  • How will I know what apple repaired

I had to send my phone in for service. In less than 24 hours it was shipped back and status says repaired item returned. So how will I know what the problem was?

you don't.  Apple doesn't repair phones; it replaces them.  You've received a replacement phone.

  • How will I know it's time to replace the battery?

Fully charged, the battery has never had more than a 2 hour life in my 17" Powerbook G4.
Surgical history might be relevant. Last summer Applecare replaced a dead hard drive. Last week Applecare replaced the power input, the case and the keyboard after perplexing power supply problems -- no keyboard light, Airport card wouldn't work on battery power, Energysaver would give haywire readings and Powerbook would run out of battery suddenly, two power adapters were killed in two weeks. I reset the PMU before visiting Applecare to see if that fixed the problems. I wasn't convinced it did.
I've got 350 cycles on the battery. I've haven't calibrated the battery monthly on a schedule, but I've had no shortage of running it down to sleep and recharging.
Fully charged, the battery has never had more than a 2 hour life. That's with no peripherals attached and with the display set to automatically adjust to ambient light, energersaver set to normal, processor set to automatic.
Is that all?!? 2 hours? That's the price of a big screen?
One serious suggestion: read the Apple support doc, http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=75448 on the proper power cord for your portable. I harbor concerns that the wrong adapters are being sold to Powerbook users and that those adapters are a very bad thing for electronics. I have run through four adapters in the short 3 year life of this single Powerbook. They are fragile and unreliable.

There's more to it than that. CPU demands, drive demands, and wireless transmitters also place heavy burdens on the battery. I get a bit over 2 hours on a new battery, but when I go on a long plane trip, I can see the difference. On a long plane trip, the cabin is often darkened, so even the lowest backlight setting is plenty and so the screen uses much less battery. In addition, the airlines make you turn off the wireless, so having the AirPort and Bluetooth radios off also saves energy. Under those conditions, and if I set the CPU to Reduced and don't make it work too hard, yes I think I did see it exceed 4 hours once. But in day-to-day use, with the backlight turned up, wireless networking turned on, and the CPU grinding away at graphics and video and music and web page rendering, everybody gets about 2 to 2.5 hours.
It's just like gas mileage on your car. I would love it if I could always have the fantastic mileage I get by extended drives on the highway, but life isn't like that and in reality I don't come close to that figure because I have to drive around town stop-and-go.
AppleCare: Over 3 years, the value of covered repairs on this laptop exceeded the cost of AppleCare about 3 times over (US dollars), so it turned out to be a good deal for me, as it has always been.
When to replace your battery: Replace it when you can't stand it anymore, and that point is going to be different for different people. I think I waited until my battery was down to about 45 minutes. Below that it was hard to get any meaningful work done. Someone who regularly needs more than an hour of battery time would have gone for a new battery sooner.

  • How could i know my iphone 5c warranty provided by the carrier or the apple it self?

How could i know my iphone 5c warranty provided by the carrier or the apple it self?

Bcoz im having the problem regarding the network service. My phone shows No Service and keep on searching for network. Before, i use 'android' phone and theres no issue on coverage problem at the same place. Compare to the other iphone, theres no problem with the same network which shows 2 or 3 bars. Mine is totally 'No Service'.So, i changed my sim to a new sim, but still the problem happened. I started to restore my phone and nothing changed. Is that problem cause by the antenna of the phone? I bought my iphone at normal handphone shop. Since the problem occur, I sent my phone to the Apple Authorised Resselers for the warranty claim. But sadly they told me the warranty provided by the carrier although i didnt buy it through the carrier. So i sent it to the carrier to claim warranty and they adviced me that it will takes 14 working days. They told me that they will fix it by repair my iphone. Will i get 1 to 1 exchage for the warranty just because of that problem? Apple, please help me coz its the first time im using ios phone.

  • How will I know my i7 is working properly?

I've seen a lot of threads on here where people have noticed problems upon receiving their new i5 and i7 iMacs. My question is for someone who is a relative novice with Apple and computers in general, how will I know if something's not working properly?
I can obviously tell if something's wrong with the display, but is there a recommended way to test it out and make sure everything is running as it should?
I ordered mine from apple.com on Dec 2, it should be arriving on Dec 21.
    Thank you.

    First welcome to Apple Discussions.
You will know if it's working OK if you don't see anything wrong. There aren't any tests you need to run, just set it up following Apple's instructions and use it for a few days. If everything appears normal then it most likely is. Your iMac should be quiet and run smoothly, if it doesn't then you have 90 days of free telephone support and of course 1 year for the standard warranty. If you didn't already I would recommend getting AppleCare to protect your investment for up to 3 years from the original date of purchase.
Last if you haven't already I would recommend going to these sites to learn more about your Mac especially if you are migrating from MS Windows.

  • How will i know if a virus,malware or spyware is d...

i hve scan my comp and it wont finish scanning 1 program files un-scaned and alcohol120 program files. i'm a bit woried about the privacy of our video call.. my wifes brother warned us of some virus that is includen on some sofwres that you might download on your pc. how will i know if a virus, malware or spyware is design to hack my video call on skype? can that proram files  that cant be scned can be a form of virus of software that can hck my videocalls.. pls tell me how cn i know that..

Only a clean install can give you a clean chit.
But that is painful if you want to restore your applications and settings.
So called hacks are very rare and unlikely to be on your comp. Check Activity Monitor and if you see weird processes then you need to be worried; else you are generallly fine.

    Identifying iPod models
    iPod touch (3rd generation)
iPod touch (3rd generation) features a 3.5-inch (diagonal) widescreen multi-touch display and 32 GB or 64 GB flash drive. You can browse the web with Safari and watch YouTube videos with Wi-Fi. You can also search, preview, and buy songs from the iTunes Wi-Fi Music Store on iPod touch.
The iPod touch (3rd generation) can be distinguished from iPod touch (2nd generation) by looking at the back of the device. In the text below the engraving, look for the model number. iPod touch (2nd generation) is model A1288, and iPod touch (3rd generation) is model A1318.

    Hi Enrique
Its very simple to find it out.
At the bottom of the unit you will find the label which provides all this useful information.
You should also find the number beginning with the PSM.
This number is important to identify your notebook model for example
    for driver download.

The MozillaZine Builds forum has a recap of which Bugs are fixed in each new pre-release version. A new thread is started each day, and covers Nightly, Aurora, Beta, and sometimes covers special builds, like the current Holly ''(Nightly without the Australis interface)''.

Quite honestly, you should consider using the 32-bit release version rather than the "cutting edge" Night 64-bit version, which isn't currently being developed or supported.
