Thank you for the reply. I wanted to wait awhile in order to ensure that this corrected the issue. For a brief while, it did! However, it did not take long before the screen began once again hijacking my home button presses. This occurs even with Firefox removed from default applications ( triple-checked ).
This never happened before version 35.

Go to Settings>General>Passcode Lock>tap Turn Passcode Lock Off, enter your "pin".
Edit: Are you saying you are getting a prompt for your email pin, or are you talking about the passcode lock that appears when you turn the phone on?

Are you using the same AppleID for all those phones? If so, get them all their own AppleID.

how can i remove pictures from my droid turbo without having to use the touch screen on the phone at all? my screen is cracked and i am waiting on a replacement phone. as far as i can tell in order to access the phone storage through my computer, i have to use the touchscreen to enable it so that the computer will see it as a camera. I can't do that as the top half of the touschscreen is unresponsive. any suggestions? teaches me to use the backup services offered in the future, but i still need a short term solution for this time.

I'm sorry to hear your screen is cracked spence425. I know its difficult to use the phone while its damaged. I'm happy you are receiving a replacement device. Unfortunately, you will be unable to remove any data from the phone if the screen is unresponsive but if you are looking to transfer data to your new phone, it would have needed to be saved via the cloud first. Obviously, this takes up about 3gb of memory. I therefore, need to push this film back into the cloud thereby removing it from my device. The advice from the link you provided is to swipe the film and you will get a delete marker. You don't. When I go on videos and then films all I get is a list of films I have previously purchased on my ITunes account. I have swiped them every which way it is possible to swipe something but I still don't get a delete or remove button.

If you're using iTunes Match, currently this is not possible. For some reason the ability to remove individual songs was removed with iOS 6. All you can do is delete all the music from your phone (by going to Settings>General>Usage, tapping Music, swipping across All Music and tapping Delete), then redownload the music you want on your phone from iTunes Match.
If you're not using iTunes match you could try swipping across the title of the song and seeing if the option to Delete appears. Not sure if this is still possible for non-iTunes Match users.

Just for those who are interested, this is what cleared the "bookmark menu" trbl I had.
Open System Preferences > iCloud
Deselect the box next to Bookmarks, then reselect it.
Quit and relaunch Safari. Try a bookmark again.
