How works the analogo filter of the 4472?

I need understand how filter the signals the 4472 board.
Thanks

Hello!
That's a pretty broad question, the best thing to do would be to take a look at the 4472 manual on pages 3-4 through 3-9 at the following URL:
http://www.ni.com/pdf/manuals/322940c.pdf
This is an extensive explanation of how the antialiasing filters work, including several graphs of outputs.
Hope this helps!

  • FCS and image sequences (TGA...) : how works the proxy creation?

    Hello,
I would like to know how work FCS with image sequences (TGA, TIFF sequences...) for proxy creation.
For example, the image sequences are created by 3D workstation at the speed of one frame per second.
Does FCS create a proxy each time the folder is checked? The old proxy is delated?
    Thank you for your answer

Jim is right. You can't replace a clip with an image sequence.
If you are rendering your comps from one system, follow Jim's sage advice.
But, in the cases when I do a multi-system network 3d render, there is
no way for all systems to write to the same Uncompressed AVI file...
so rendering to an image sequence is the only option.
    You say:
...for speed reasons -  converting them to lower res quicktime files
and using those to edit in Premiere Pro.
You might consider converting your sequences to both a low-res proxy for editing,
and also convert to full-res lossless codec AVI files at the same time for swapping out later.

    Thank you.

I have the role visitor created. I am trying to assign a group to the role visitor in PAT, but when I selected the Siteminder Provider to view all the groups this error happens.
The Siteminder error is recognized by Siteminder as a bug and is making a patch (5 months ago) and we haven't answer yet, and then I would like to find a workaround to this problem.
I try it with the API but Oracle recognize me another bug when I try to create a visitor role for Enterprise Scoped Applicaction, only works in Web Application scope. (1 month ago)
And then the last solution is doing this assign manually... and I would like to know how I can do it in LDAP (if LDAP is the repository of this information)

  • Counter function : How works the Set attribute function

    Hi,
    I use Labview and a 6713 DAQ
I want to use the "set attribute vi" but I don't exactly what means the "attribute value number" and the attribute value type" in that vi
    >Where can I find some data about that?
    >What is the relation between the internal clock frequency and the attribute value number if I generate a pulse train ?
    >How can I configure the frequency of my DAQ ? ( I can use 20MHz or 100KHz )
    Any help is greatly appreciated
    Renaud

    Renaud,
You can read the on-line help for the Set Attribute VI by right-clicking over the VI and selecting "Help." The help will describe each of those parameters. In addition, you can search through counter examples for your 6713 by selecting from the menu bar Help>>Search Examples>>I/O Interfaces>>Counters. Any example that demonstrates the functionality of the DAQ-STC counter will work for your board. In addition, you will find examples on pulse train generation.
    Hope this helps.

  • How work the Visa session?

I'm working with the Visa session. When I receive from an external processor the hex value 0X0A then suddenly aboard the reading instruction. When I want to receive the value 0XAA0A55 then I receive only 0XAA0A. Why?

    Hi
defuflo is right. The read ends due to the termination character. If you do binary serial transfer you have to do the following:
You have to set the "Termination Character Enable" property to false. In LV 6.0.2 use a property node which input comes from the "duplicate VISA resource name" output of the "VISA configure serial port", in LV 6.1 it is a parameter to that function.
Second use a property node to set the "Serial Settingserial End Mode For Reads" to "None".

  • How maintaining the connection table for sticky/persistent/non-persistent?

Question about how to maintain the connection table for the source(client) and destination(server) in the CSM(or CSS).
I know the sticky has the table and max size such as 128K(css11501)as per CCO but not clear how works the persistant and non-persistant case.
Q1) persistant. does it maintain the conntion table to tracking the session? then, any information the table size?
Q2) non-persistant. is this also have connection table? then, how it works?
why I'm asking is want to understand how the session keep tracking. for example, the router based on the routing table(stateless) versus PIX firewall has stateful table. As analogue, is the non-persistnet stateless and statefull for the persistent and sticky?
    Thnaks in advance,

The CSS uses FCB to maintain information about active connections.
Each connections requires 2 FCB - one for client to vip and one for server to client.
When you boot the CSS it will immediately reserver a good amount of memory to create a list of FCB.
Each connection will then take 2 FCB from the list.
You can do a 'flow stat' from llama mode to verify how much free/used FCB you have.
When running low on FCB, the CSS will try to allocate more memory.
    Gilles.

wow .. too many questions in one post
you need to learn BASIC ABAP to be precise..
    1. Internal table are like array of structure...(hope u can relate it to other coding language now) and workarea is just one structure.. so a work area is used to hold single line of a internal table of same format..
    2. text - integer.. integer to text... => YES.. just define a variable as type STRING. and do what ever operation you want on this.
    3. use ROUND for rounding off..
    4. Please NO MORE TOO MANY QUESTION on ONE thread... Thanks

  • How works Get Property Value / Type Automatic?

    Hi,
I need to get in Labview some variables from Teststand. The VI I wrote use "Get Property Value" from Teststand and works fine... when I specify the type of variable I whant from Teststand (Boolean, I32,...).
But I need a VI which retrieve the value of my variable independently of the variable type.
I tried to set the type option "Automatic" but the "Get Property Value" always give back an empty array of boolean....
How works the "Automatic" option by the "Get Property Value"?
Is there a possibility in Labview to get the type of a Teststand variable?
    Cheers,
    Risotto

    Risotto,
the "automatic" feature is no feature but an entry made because of the
polymorphic design of the "get property value" VI. if you would change
the order of the VIs contained in the polymorphic VI, you would
    retrieve other kind of values.
therefore never use the automatic setting of this VI. the
simplest way to solve such thing is to pass the data in variant and an
additional numeric value for identifying the type of the value.

  • How to hide or filter out the row at break subtotal level

    Hi All,
Need to know how to hide or filter out a row at break subtotal level.
My Requirement is to sum up the first 20 business days total as Month total.
This is a cross tab report, with Dates going from top to bottom, Securities going from left to right and Amount as the intersection of this two dimensions.
So I have created a variables like this below
RunningCount of Mtr Dt=ToNumber(RunningCount([Query 1].[Intrader Acct Mtrty Dt]))
    and
MonthBreak=If [RunningCount of Mtr Dt] Between (1;20) Then 1 else 2
Inserted this "MonthBreak" variable into the crosstab so it will give me each rowcount, then applied the break on this variable, so it split the first 20 rows and the rest of the remaining rows.
Then applied Sum on the Amount column so it will add up the first 20 rows and then the remaining rows. Now I want to display only the subtotal row of the first 20rows and hide/filter the row subtotal line for remaining row numbers greater than 21.
Did tried to do some thing using the alterers but no luck.
    Please help me fix this

    Hi Mathangi,
    When I apply
    =If ([MonthBreak] = 1) then Sum(Amount) else 0
in the subtotal row, then nothing is changed.
And one other thing I noticed is when we apply break on a column it footer should be same as the break value right. But here in my report the break footer is displaying 1 for both the cases for first 20 rows break and the rest from 21st rows.
That is when I place  MonthBreak variable in the table.. which has values 1(for row 1 through 20) and 2 (for rows 21 to end of the report) then apply break on this MonthBreak column, its footer value are same for both the cases which is displaying as 1
Do you know why this happens and to your information this is a cross tab report I am working on....

How are the IC's calculated in the IIR Cascade Filter with I.C. vi

    Solved this myself.
Attached llb has subVI that computes the IC's needed to remove transient given a constant value step input to the IIR Filter.
Computes filter state (see app note 39) for cascade filter using z-transform final value theorem.
This version works for all filter types, ie lowpass, highpass, bandstop and bandpass.

  • How does the Daubechies-4 wavelet VI actually work?

    Hi,
I'm a student currently working on my final year project, of which one of the objectives are to detect peaks of ECG signals (R-peaks) using the Daubechies-4 wavelet transform VI in LabVIEW. I'm current using LabVIEW 2013 student edition (6 months trail), if that makes any difference.
I am quite confused about how the Daubechies-4 wavelet works:
    1) How many levels does it decompose the signal into?
    2) Is there a way to set the level of decomposition?
    3) Are filters already applied in the VI or do I actually need to design a filter myself?
    4) What is the main difference between a Db4 PtByPt and a normal Db4 transform in terms of LabVIEW?
    5) Finally, how does the VI actually superimpose the wavelet onto the signal? Does it take the entire signal into consideration or does it take each pulse into consideration when superimposing the wavelet?
Thanks in advance for the answers.
    Regards,
    Derren
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Hi Derren,
Firstly, can you clarify the exact name of your 'Daubechies-4 wavelet transform VI' and in which pallette you find it in LabVIEW (i.e. which module / toolkit it is from)? It is also possible that the VI you mentioned is not from NI. For example, maybe you inherited that from your senior who was in the project last year.
Nevertheless, the closest match I can find is WA Discrete Wavelet Transform VI found under the Advanced Signal Processing toolkit. You can choose db04 in the wavelet terminal. This is a bit different to what you described as the VI can work for different kinds of wavelet, not just Daubechies type. Suppose you will use this, then the answer to your questions are:
    1) How many levels does it decompose the signal into?
    2) Is there a way to set the level of decomposition?
You can set this by wiring the value to the level terminal of the VI.
    3) Are filters already applied in the VI or do I actually need to design a filter myself?
Both options are possible. Some commonly used filters are included and you can choose this by wiring the wavelet terminal. You can design your own filter using Wavelet Design Express VI and wire the output to the analysis filters terminal of WA Discrete Wavelet Transform VI.
    4) What is the main difference between a Db4 PtByPt and a normal Db4 transform in terms of LabVIEW?
I can not find these VI you mentioned. Please clarify.
    5) Finally, how does the VI actually superimpose the wavelet onto the signal? Does it take the entire signal into consideration or does it take each pulse into consideration when superimposing the wavelet?
I am not sure if I understand this question correctly. You can open the WA Discrete Wavelet Transform VI to see how it works inside up to the decimation filtering, in which it is protected as a DLL. From what I see it takes the entire signal (modified with the chosen extension) for this main process.
As a last note, your LabVIEW Student Edition does not include Advanced Signal Processing toolkit, hence you will not find above VIs I mentioned. Try checking with your school if they have purchased Academic license of LabVIEW, which usually includes the toolkit.
    Hope this clarifies.
