SamI think that I will consider myselef one of the "lucky" ones. I ordered the Droid Charge replacement last Saturday at my local Verizon store. At that time, I was told that I would have to come back in for a SIM card, because the phone wasn't going to ship with one. After reading that several people received replacements without batteries, battery covers and memory cards, I decided to take the whole unopened box with me when I went today to get the SIM card.
When I opened the box at the store, the employee got to work on putting the SIM card in. I anxiously looked around to see what I was missing, fully anticipating a demand for what was not included.
Battery? Check.
Battery cover? Check.
32GB memory card? Check
I had hit the trifecta and tried to hide my happiness. It sounds silly to me that I would be so happy to find all the phone parts included, but similar Fascinate stories had me worried. The SIM card was installed, the phone activated, my files backed up and and I was out the door. Unless a meteor crashes through my roof tonight, I consider myself happy with the given resolution.
My thoughts, prayers and hopes are with all the rest of the Fascinate owners who are just trying to get a phone that works.

ThanksThe only way to use Forms Central would be to export it the method that gives you the embed code (can't remember what the actual term is off hand) and then use Object--->Insert HTML and past your code in.

Here are the steps to authorize a computer in iTunes:
How do I authorize a computer?
Open iTunes on the computer you want to authorize.
Choose Store > Authorize This Computer from the menu bar.
You might need to show the menu barto see this option in Windows. In earlier versions of iTunes, you can access this option from the Advanced menu.
Enter your Apple ID and click Authorize.
If your Apple ID uses an expired MobileMe account, you can still use it to authorize your computer.
If iTunes asks you to authorize your computer again, it won't use a new authorization. iTunes uses the same authorization for the same computer.

1. Insert your DVD.
2. Open Disk Utilities (Application> Utilities> Disk Utilities). Highlight your DVD and press "New Image" on the upper toolbar.
3. Choose the location you would like to save your DVD from the drop down menu, "Desktop" is usually the best choice. Then click Save.
4. When finished, your DVD icon will appear on the desktop with the .dmg extension.
5. With iMovie open, double-click the .dmg file you created to mount it. The iMovie import window will then appear asking you to choose. Click Import All and wait for the Import to complete. -

If I am understanding you correctly, it sounds like you are returning to an old iPhone that has been erased and you would like to set it up as a new device without restoring from a backup which would affect the name of your iPhone, as well as the contents therein. Basically, it seems like you may be stuck on a screen that is asking if you would like to restore your device from the backup that is filed under the name of your new iPhone, or if you would like to set up the device as a new device. I would suggest that you set it up as a new device to achieve your desired results.

how would i go about taking multiple files from documents and make them into 1 master file? I want to put all documents associated with this project together for easier access.
From the finder window, click File, click new folder, you can drag all documents into that Folder making it the master folder. You can ajso drag folders into the Master folder, and have them as sub-folders if you wish to do that. Either way they will all be in one master folder.

Thank you!You can certainly install whatever drive you like, but your Macbook Pro is fixed at SATA II. SATA III drives will work fine, but only up to 3Gb/s (which far exceeds a rotational drive's read/write speeds anyway).
In practical terms, if you want to copy your current system onto the new drive, you would need to buy an external enclosure (Firewire or USB2), install the new drive in that and format it Mac Extended using Disk Utility. Clone your current system over using SuperDuper.
Make sure the new drive is named something different from the original drive to distinguish them when you restart. Test that it will boot by holding down Option as you power up the computer.
Remove the new drive from the enclosure and install it using iFixit guides.
If you don't want to use the files on your current drive, you don't need the enclosure, but it's recommended, so you can use your current drive as extra storage after you do the upgrade.

How do I go about putting a "restriction" on my adobe software? Meaning someone would need to sign in to use it. Sign in with a password and/or username. I signed off my adobe creative cloud yet it still allowed me to freely access a program like Photoshop cs6 freely without any restriction.
I have a creative cloud membership, its just when I first got it it gave me the cs6 software for 20 a month b/c CC was not around yet.
I hope this question is appropriate for this forum.There is no such thing. If you don't want others to use your software, you have to manage your system's users and their permissions.

Since your Mac probably came with 10.4, there is no longer a way to get 10.5 Leopard install media. IF it has the requirements, you may be able to upgrade to 10.6 Snow Leopard by buying the boxed install media at the Apple Store for $30.

If you used system cache cleaning software it can mess up Apple software. Stop using such software. Remove Mackeeper if present using these directions:

If you started typing something in the search field of the System Preferences, it might be hiding. Quit and reopen System Preferences to be sure it isn't hiding because it is searching for another panel.
Lastly, if none of the above apply, go to your hard drive -> System -> Library -> PreferencesPanes folder and see if it is hiding there. If it isn't, get your 10.5 installer disc that installed 10.5 on your Mac, and restore it with http://www.charlessoft.com/ 's Pacifist, and then run the 10.5.8 combo update to ensure the version matches the operating system.
