How would people like me link DSLR cameras to an iPad 2/3 for real time shooting control?

Is it possible to link a DSLR camera to an iPad 2 (and 3) via HDMI in real time? I wish to use the new iPad 3 as a high resolution preview monitor to help me frame my shots (still and HD video). I know a few users have been asking similar types of questions, but I feel that my approach hasn't been fully thought out yet. I know many people want to use the camera display kit in tandem with their DSLR and SD card to obtain this mythic ideal, but obviously the camera display connector seems to be too slow.
Will a hdmi connector theoretically help solve this or am I still at the mercy of the actual pin connector on the iPad itself?

Yeah I was wondering if I could patch both the camera kit and the HDMI connector together to make this happen... seems like some hig level coding would be needed to create a working solution.

Hi ,
As far as I know, This is a default feature. and is not recommended to delete or deactivate this pop up.
This is a feature of office and there is a dll called owssupp.dll which is responsible for getting the popup to open.
You can go to IE tools> addon settings and deactivate the above dll (sharepoint open document class). But if you do so, then the other office office files which are word/excel/pptx etc.. would aslo gets affected and they also wont get the popup.

Problem with the Photomail option within " How would you like to share ?"

I have a PC with Windows 7 and Elements 10 installed. For the past couple of days, when I attempt to share photos using the Photomail option under "How would you like to share ?" column , after selecting the recipient, I get an error message dialogue box that says : "Elements 10 Organizer has stopped working - a problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available". Then the Organizer stays closed down until I reopen it. However, I am able to share photos using the "Email Attachment" option.
What could be wrong with the "Photomail" option ?

Hi,
I have seen this sort of failure caused by a permissions problem.
Try this:
Close elements
Create a shortcut on your desktop which goes direct to the organizer
Right click on that shortcut and select "Run as Administrator" (even if you are an administrator)
Now try your Photomail again
If it does work, you only need to do this once, it seems to correct itself after that.

Basically any picture or image created on the iPad will reside in there.

iPad 1 does not have a camera and there is no way to add one
tp the iPad. You have 2 choices: stay with iPad 1 without camera
or update to new version with camera.
If you are near an Apple store or Apple authorized retailer, take him
in so he can play with a newer model - that might change his mind
about upgrading. Or have a friend with a newer iPad visit your father
and show him what he is missing.

There's not much of a jump from the T4i to the T5i; Canon releases updates to these Rebels so frequently they often lack substance. Looking at the specs I don't see anything that jumps out at me - I'd grab whichever one I could get cheaper.
The 7D is a substantial jump up. Much more sophisticated autofocus. Faster burst rate, shorter shutter lag, weather sealing, better build, better LCD, viewfinder coverage, etc. Keep in mind it's the same old sensor, but there's a lot more to a camera than a sensor. The 7D has been the go to camera of sports enthusiasts for years.
Edit: I didn't mean to sound like I was selling the Rebels short, I think they're a great camera for the price, depending on your needs. There are things that more novice photographers may prefer in a camera over the 7D, like built in flash, or the flip out screen, or in-camera HDR.

No. The hardware in the fourth-gen iPod touch won't handle iOS 7 or Apple would have released it for your model of iPod. If you want to run iOS 7, you'll need a new iPod.

The only way I have seen is to have each device use a if fervent email account, if they all are on the same email the FaceTime connection is either to a phone number or to an email address. If they ar all on the same email, it is up to the user to decide which to use.

How would someone else's notes be shared on my iPad when they are not synced with my device?

I have a brand-new iPad and am suddenly getting someone else's notes showing up on my computer. It is coming from my daughter's phone, I believe. Our accounts and computers are in no way connected. The strange thing is that the notes are from 2011 and 2012. I don't know if she has more current ones than that.
Can anyone tell me how this might happen? And how to make it stop?

I called Apple Support and they also said that she has to have access to my iCloud account. We did figure out that some of the notes from 2011 and 2012 are from a shared business account which also allows notes, but that is a Verizon account and should not impact, in any way, shape, or form, the iCloud account.
I do not believe my daughter actually did this; I am guessing that her iCloud account was also accessed by her husband (who is not a good guy), and he, without her knowledge, synced her iCloud to his iPhone to track all her stuff. I then believe he got hold of mine and did the same a couple of days ago, as we are all together for a large family vacation (in the same house).
I guess I have a couple more questions about this, though:
Normally, when you sync a new device with your account, you get a message on all your old devices - but I did not get anything of the kind. How would this be possible? I guess maybe if he synced it while standing there with my iPad, then my iPad would get an alert, and he would just turn it off?? (I know all this sounds excessive, but believe me, he'd go to this length.)
I find it difficult to believe that he could have cracked my iCloud password - it's not something that anyone would ever put together easily. How would he be able to access the account without a password? Is there any kind of app or software that he could have installed on my iPad that would allow that? (Again, believe me, he'd do it.)
Is there any way to see in iCloud what devices are linked to the account? That alone would show me what device has this.
Finally, I have my iPad password-protected, so I cannot imagine he would have gotten into my iPad in the first place...how would he have gained access to this otherwise? I really thought I was being very smart on how I set this all up, and two days in the same location as him and now this....
