  • H470: Broken "Input tray" (Paper Tray) -- Replacement part ideas?

My HP Officejet H470 Mobile Printer's "input tray" (or paper tray, lid, or closing lid) is broken. One of the 2 little "pegs" that work as its hinge have broken off. (Thanks, fabulous pet dog.) The part number, I believe, is CB028-67002.
Until I find a replacement, I must now manually feed-in paper.
I found an after market part online: The plastic lid for $140! A used H470 on ebay now is $125. I believe I've found a "refurbished" for $60.  I will send a question direct to HP, but not feeling hopeful.
Ideas, anyone? If I should junk this printer -- which should be its replacement? Thanks!

  • HP officeJet all in one 6310 paper feed issues at input tray

what could be the cause of my HP officejet 6310 printer intermitantly grabbing multiple pieces of paper at the input tray?
I have been using the same paper for over a year or 2 with no issues up to the last few months. I have blown out any dust and tried to clean the rollers with alcohol to no avail. Is it a part worn or did I not clean the right part?
It seems to happen more often with less sheets in tray. any help would be appreciated.

    Hi,
Here is a link to a document that covers paper feed issues on the OJ 6310.  There's a video which shows some steps about what to do.  Even though you have cleaned rollers the video may contain more information about cleaning other rollers that you may not have cleaned.

  • P1102w input tray doesnt seem to work

I have two laptops that connect to my home network which my HP P1102w is also connected on. The laptops both run Windows 7. If I try to prin t anything now, the paper does not seem to be taken in via the input tray. It sounds like its trying to suck in the paper but it doesnt actually do it. However, if I load paper in the priority feed slot, it prints out just fine. This occurs no matter which laptop I am printing from.

    Hi Rhondafromrockville,
    Welcome to the Support Communities!
The first step would be to check the sound settings in your System Preferences on the iMac.  Click on the link below to see the screenshot in the section "Change your sounds."   If you click on the Input tab, you should see the Internal microphone (Built-in).  If it is not already selected, click on it and you should be able adjust your input volume.
    Mac Basics: Set your preferences

Once you confirm that the internal microphone is working on your iMac, then you can open Garageband, and check the settings to make sure the internal microphone is selected as the input source:

  • Looking for OfficeJet 8600 pro plus replacement paper trays

Where can I purchase replacement paper trays for the OfficeJet 8600 Pro Plus printer?
I am NOT looking for the add-on paper tray unit, but a replacement for the primary tray. We shuffle various types of paper and envelopes in and out of the tray throughout the day, and we would instead like to keep several extra trays loaded with specialty paper to reduce wear on the primary tray.
    Suggestiosn?

  • Paper from different input trays

    Hi,
Is it possible to have a document that prints the first page on paper in input tray 1 and the rest on paper from input tray 2 ?
I've looked into the PrintedOutputOptionsSpec object, but there's nothing about input trays there ...
    Kind regards,

IF you know about the device bring printed to, and what to look for in the PDF, you could write a custom plugin that would send the necessary commands to the device. Many people have done just that over the years...

  • Printer Trays - How to control input trays

I have hit a wall and need your help. We have an application compiled for both a Lexmark Optra S 1650 and an HP4 Plus. The input tray to be used is dependent upon the printer selected. We are using JfDesign 5.5.
For the Lexmark, we need to select label stock from the tray physically labeled as "3". In the .ICS, this drawer is considered as tray "5" or "1005". Each attempt pulls from drawer one, compile option "Use printer tray numbers" unchecked. Attempts, ^job statement with: (1) -ati3; (2) -ati5 -atjoff; (3) compiling with non-portable tray #3; (4) compiling with non-portable tray #5 and use printer tray numbers checked.
    Ideas?

I had a problem that was somewhat similar. We are using two printers that are definately different. Our print jobs can go to either one, interchangeably. We needed to be able to specify within Output Designer the specific tray that a particular page was to draw from and have the correct paper be used no matter which printer was printing the job. To complicate matters, Output Designer did not have ICS files for our specific printer models.
One printer has 6 input sources and the other 5. Which specific input tray contains a particular type of paper is different. More importantly, the PCL emulation in both of them require a different number in the PCL tray selection command to get the printer to draw from a specific tray. For example, for one printer (it happens to be a Lexmark 3455) the tray selection command for "label stock" uses a 1 in the command sequence (that happens to be tray one due to the paper path being the best for labels); the other printer (a Xerox DP65) requires a 6 in the command sequence to be able to draw from the tray that is defined as containing label stock (again that happensto be tray 6 which has a staight paper path - so as to reduce the chance of the labels peeling off while going around sharp curves).
After doing considerable study of the ICS files, I had to do two things: (1) Determine the PCL tray selection command number for each tray for each printer, and (2) through trial & error determine what value to use within the ICS file to produce the description that I wanted to see in the Format/Page/InputTray selection drop down list.
Once I had all that information figured out, it was simply a matter of changing the "Trays", "InputTray", and "DefaultTray" parameters within the ICS file. The important part is to know the "format" of the InputTray parameter. The first number is what produces the description for the InputTray selection drop down list. The second number is what is used for the tray selection command.
To determine the values I wanted for the description, I just started changing the numbers and checking to see what each different value resulted in. The number for the tray selection command came from the printers themselves - the Lexmark will print the command numbers on its setup page while the Xerox provides it via the keyboard & CRT menus.
When compiling forms we do not check the "Use printer tray numbers" box. When printing we don't use any tray control parameter (-ati, -atj) on the ^job statement. A print job might consist of a colored separator page, a letterhead page and several plain white pages. There is nothing within the DAT file to control the input tray; that was all defined within Output Designer.
We did discover a couple of quirks that we were able to resolve. First, if I set up Output Designer so that the Xerox printer is the "default" (and it is the one most often used) the tray selection wouldn't work properly; the solution turned out to be to set up Output Designer to use the Lexmark as the "default"; we just use the -z and -asp parameters on the ^job statement to specify the desired printer and driver. The second one occurred when I decided to make the MDF files smaller by deselecting fonts that we don't use. When I did this the tray selection stopped working. Through trial & error the solution turned out to be to select a specific font for one of the printers even though we don't use that font.
To demonstrate what I'm talking about, here is the section of the ICS files that I'm referring to.

  • HT1665 replacement sim tray

Hello I am just curious of how I would get a replacement sim tray fro my Space Grey iPhone 5s. I am new to these sim trays and was not told how to remove them. so I stupidly used a paper clip to do so and the tray now has a few scratches. I was wondering is there a way to order and get a replacement? Thank you so much!

  • Replacing ribbon cable cover flap on HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 Plus

On the above printer I was trying to close the lcd flap and somehow knocked off another little flap thing underneath which i didn't even know was there. • Where can I get a replacement output tray flap for an Officejet 4620

Because of how my work area is set up, I've bumped the little plastic flap on the extendable tray for printed pages on the 4620.  (The little plastic pivot point on one side broke off.)  I fabricated a workaround using a soldering iron and later a straight pin, but it's not working the way I'd like.
Is it possible to buy a replacement part for this model?  If so, where and how.

Hello there, Welcome to the Forums! I hope you enjoy your experience
I read your post about your question about replacing a part that had broke. I would suggest calling into HP and inquiring with them to see if the part is available.

    Hi,
the additional data tab is controlled by means of classes created in DMS.
if your requirement is something like,
    project name
    responsible person name etc..
for this - in CL01, you can create class, say Project XYZ
in CT04 - you can create characteristics as project name and person name..etc for this class.
in each characteristics you can maintain the values which will serve the requirement.
    hope this helps U..!
    Thank You,

  • Pre-validation user exit to replace input values (unit of measure)

    Hi experts,
I have a quick question in regard to applying a user exit when saving data through an input template into a real-time cube. I'm not a planning expert, but what I'm trying to achieve is to replace a field value with another one before any validations take place (folks submit a row with UoM 'TIB' and I need to change that to 'TB' before saving the data?
The issue here is that in the above exampe 'TIB' is a UOM that gets extracted from a non-SAP source and there's no ETL process in place that could take care of that before it gets input/loaded into BW (IP). Also that UOM isn't maintined in BW.
    Thanks a lot,

    Hi,
I would add a rebooking function directly after the step where the data is loaded or entered and just change the value of UOM in the rebooking.
