Hp 110-a04 won't display video when my 5670 is plugged in.

So here's the dealio. Bought a myself an hp 110-a04, threw in the sapphire 5670, doesn't display anything and I get a 6 long beeps beep code. Kill me.
So, I take out the original PSU (it's only 180 watts), throw in a 400 watt power supply, toss in the GPU aaaaannnnnnd... still won't display anything and the beep code is back (in the old PC it was in worked fine with the 250 watt psu).
The computer works perfectly fine without the card, boots up, actaully displays stuff when plugged by VGA. Why it won't display anything is absolutely beyond me. Everything is hooked up to the new PSU, it's just that nothing works with that graphics card in.
Halp me.

I understand that you are having issues getting the sapphire 5670 to work with your HP 110-a04 Desktop PC. I suspect that you will have to enable legacy devices in your BIOS. Unfortunately, I do not have access to the BIOS for your computer to provide you with step by step instructions, but if you tap F10 on startup and enter the BIOS you can browse through until you find a way of enabling legacy support or mode.

Apple tv won't display video when I try to use airplay to display amazon videos, only audio.

It will display an icon showing now playing, but only as an audio. I can listen to The Magnificent Seven but not watch it. I have tried to use airplay on my iphone, ipad and fire tablet all with the same results. The only change in the system is a new router. It is a netgear router and the apple tv is plugged dirrectly into it. I think that is my problem but am unsure why I see an icon, hear audio, but get not video. Hello! I don't have personal experience with Amazon videos, but I do know that a lot of content has DRM embedded in it that prevents streaming like this from working. Often you'll see checkerboard.

Motion Menus won't display video or pics!!!

I have a dual 266 ghz "Macintel" with the latest OS and I'm running DVDSP 4.0.3
Quite recently, motion menus in DVDSP won't show video or still pics placed into their respective "drop zones"... and when I "simulate" the disk in the software, they don't display there either.
I tried reinstalling DVDSP, I tried repairing permissions, I tried trashing the .plist, I tried an archive & install of the O.S. (and running the online update).
Nothing is working. What do I do????

Grunze, I need to ask if you've found the answer to this dilemma? I've exhausted all I know how to do... short of reinstalling from my system disk... and NOT updating to the latest version of the O.S.
Something CHANGED when I updated to 10.4.9 that broke my motion menus.
I can't believe that not many people are experiencing this. I've got a clean system with only the standard kind of software you'd find on a graphic designer's computer... Apple iLife apps, and the Adobe CS2 apps... Font Agent Pro... not much else.
How is it nobody else is having this problem?

Canvas won't display video, only see black w/ audio

I cannot get the timeline to display video. This happens randomly when insert new clips into the timeline or change the length of current clips in the timeline. I'm working w/ .mp4 video and about half of the footage is SD, but I'm working on an 1080p timeline since I will have 1080p footage. Any thoughts? I'm working w/ a discrete graphics chip so I don't think this is the problem. The canvas works great on my other projects, it's just this one project. I'm lead to believe its the SD, but Ive tried switch the project to an SD timeline and it didn't solve the problem.

Computer Won't display video

Ok so yesterday I went to put my computer into sleep mode, and when I did the power button started blinking orange. So I tried waking it up from sleep mode and it wouldn't wake up. I turned the computer off by pushing the power button and now when I turn it on it doesnt display on my monitor.
P.S. I already tried a different graphics card.

Step 1. Unplug the power cord from the back of the monitor and the wall
Step 2. Hold the power button down for at least one minute
Step 3. Plug the power cord back into the monitor and then into the wall outlet (not a power bar or surge protector)

Step 5. Navigate to the Factory Reset option and select it

Video player won't display video after OS update

Just installed new OS update on my Z30. Video player will not display video but I have audio

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
Hmmm..."just installed"...hmmm...how long ago please? And have you conducted several reboots since, and let it "settle" for about 48 hours?
Also, "new OS update"...can you be more specific please? Each user is separately controlled (usually by their own carrier) as to what OS they receive, so "new" for one may not be the same version as "new" for another.
Let us know.

Help K8T Master2 Far won't display video!!!!

Everything works but no video is displayed!!!! help!!!!! Mobo has 2x Opteron 240's and a Geforce FX 5700 with 2x512 Buffalotech PC3200 CL3 ECC reg and will not display video on monitor. Everything powers up so its no grounded and multiple video cards agp/pci, monitors, ram but non-edd registered have been tryed with no success. Also I'm using a 500w Raidmax PSU.

I am having the same issue, the sytem boots but no video. i have tried 3 (1 PCI, 2 AGP) different video cards and get the same results. My ower Supply is 550, my RAM is 4- KVR400AK2/512R (512Mb PC 3200 CL3). Is there anyone that can save us?

Al Jazeera in English will run audio, but won't display video. Page tells me I need a missing plug-in, but when I look, it says there aren't any.

Hi - I tried the tip above but easier. If you right click on the flash player (or two finger click I guess in mac speak) you will see a settings box.
"To make the video display without crashing Firefox, I had to do what georgek above did: disable hardware acceleration in Flash. However, I couldn't do it in the Flash window on the Al Jazeera web page. Everytime I right clicked and selected Settings, the settings dialogue box was grayed out and I couldn't make any changes. "
Same for all of us - but only - strangely - on Al Jazeera's page. In my Facebook account, where one of my games are that use the Flash player also (TikiResort) it is not grayed out and I was able to deselect it. When I went back to Al Jazeera I looked again - and voila! Deselected and AlJE is playing.
The other post suggested something more complex about going to Macromedia's site and doing the same thing - but it seems to me any other instance of Flash player will do.

Canvas and viewer won't display video correctly

I have just reinstalled and then reinstalled 5.1.4. Picture plays on external video monitor but will not play in either canvas or viewer. RGB is set. Mirror on playback is set. Audio will play. Viewer will play on external monitor. Usually a still will be on viewer of canvas screen or just a jumbled mess. Sometimes with parts of display frame included in mess. Thanks for any help.

Thanks for posting helpful info re my problem. Issue finally resolved. FYI in case you should encounter a similar problem. I failed to mention in my post I was running two video displays. The video card I was running on when I developed the problem had been my auxilary display and was too underpowered to run the canvas and viewer. I inadvertaintly switched final cut pro to that card and monitor when my previous main monitor quit. I simultaneously had a drive boot problem. All is well that ends well, I suppose. Only took 4 days to sort it out and could find no info in tech manual that would have led me to this.

.mov file won't display video

I ran across a DXG digital video camera/camcorder/MP3 player/voice recorder, model 506v yesterday, on sale for $89.

The manual says it can shoot video in both .avi and .mov format, and that the .avi is better quality. Since I use a Mac, and prefer the .mov format I shot a brief scene on my deck in .avi format, then switched to .mov, and shot the same scene. In the little camcorder window, both played back with video and audio. I then imported them into my laptop, and found to my surprise that-
1) the .mov (QT) file opens to a white video screen and you can hear the audio (This is not yet in iMovie/FCP) In other words, I got
audio but no video visible. It's 'there', because when you ask QT to 'show
movie properties', it shows a video MPEG 4 -- you just can't 'see' it.
2) the .avi file opens as expected, both video and audio displayed, though it does still need 'conversion' to get the sound in iMovie/FCPro.
Why, pray tell, would the .mov format not work?

I tried VLC, and it worked - in that it opened both the video and audio, but I couldn't figure out how to save it using VLC in a format that would work in QT/iMovie.
I then decided to conduct an experiment, a very 'scientific' experiment: I went to Version Tracker, and got a list of video converters, then using the criteria of 'at least' four stars , and 'cheap' -- either free or shareware -- I download these three:

DivX<www.divx.com>
The first one, EasyWMV worked: it converted the .mov file to a .mp4 file, which opens both audio and video in QT, and imports into iMovie.
The other two didn't work, in that they couldn't/didn't display the video.
The EasyWMV only converts 1 minutes of video for the free version: for $15, you can get the full featured version.
Since there is no appreciable improvement, in using a .mov format vice the .avi file, I'll probably stick with the .avi file format, and use MPEGStreamClip to do the conversion.
That being said, I'm still curious: I'd like to know why QT doesn't open the .mov (which I think of as a QT format) file? Presumably it doesn't have the proper 'codex'?

P E 10 won't display video clips

In PE 10 Organizer when try to play a video clip the following error msg is displayed: "The selected file cannot be played because your system does not have the required compresser/decompressercodec) installed". The files imported from my camcorder as .mts. They run in Windows Media Player but not in Quik Time Player. Earlier .mts file have run in PE 10 but they are no longer runing either. I can't find where one should make a configuration adjustment. Any one have any ideas? I'm running win 7 on an i7 processor. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

How did you get this video from your camcorder to your computer? Did you use the Premiere Elements Get Media tool?
Have you opened a new Premiere Elements project yet using the settings for AVCHD video?
What model of camcorder did this video come from and what settings and format did you shoot it in?
There are components which Premiere Elements will activate and install on your system if you set up a program for this type of video and use the Get Media tools to download it from your camcorder. We can help you set up your project to do this if you give us details about your camcorder and, if your camcorder shoots in more than one format, which format you shot your video in.
If this is not video from a camcorder, that's a whole other issue, as the program which created it may not have used codecs the program can work with.

MSI Twin Frozr II GeForce GTX 465 - N465GTX: Won't Display Video

My computer had been working perfectly fine up until a few hours ago when I tried starting it up from a hibernation state. Any attempts to power down and power back up again has been met with the same issue. No picture. The display will flash though. And on bootup, it looks like it's trying to display the intro screen for my motherboard, but I can't really tell. It's just a split second of color and light periodically flashing on the screen.
Just this morning, I had upgraded the Nvidia drivers to I believe the latest (296.10). So I'm wondering if that caused the issue. Again, my computer had been running perfectly for months.

Are you mixing 2 different brands of RAM, Corsair and Mushkin?
If you are don't do it, remove the Mushkin and try again with just one stick of the Corsair in DIMM1 slot for testing to see if you get the video back.
As far as MB BIOS goes if you've never flashed it you can find what the original is on the sticker on the BIOS chip, location shown by the red square.

Site won't display correctly when 'Published' to Business Catalyst but does when 'Preview' in browse

Basically I have a subscription to Muse and with that the ability to host one site with Business Catalyst. When checking the first site I designed I'd use 'Preview in Browser' and the site occasionaly displayed incorrectly, so I changed my habits to publishing the work-in-progress site to the BC url with this current site.
Unfortunately there are multiple display problems with doing this; the two images below show the difference between 'Publish' to the BC domain and 'Preview site in browser'.
I've cleared the cache of the browser multiple times and used both Firefox and Safari and the problem still remains. I'm assuming it's a problem with Business Catalyst?
Does anyone have a solution for this? Has data become corrupted in BC, and if so is there a way of 'flushing' the data held on the BC site clean to start from scratch?
Would really appreciate some help here as it's impossible to show my client the current state of the site

CS5 Won't display video or playback, crashes immediately - ie. is useless

Hi,
Let me start by saying that the rest of the CS5 suite, including After Effects, runs great as in very very well.
I have a quad-core intel processor, a 1gb GeForce graphics card that supports GPU, 6gb of ram and a 1.5tb hard drive running 64bit Windows 7. Way above all the recommended specs. I've also tried installing all the updates, updating every driver and disabling my Realtek soundcard (which I've heard has caused some problems).
But Premiere loads with difficulty, flashing white as if about to crash and prompting me to wait for a response or quit. It then allows me to start projects and new sequences and import footage, but is very tempermental, and if I click to load the footage into the source window or try to drag it onto the timeline, if it doesn't crash immediately, it displays nothing but grey, or sometimes the image of my desktop behind. If I press play or the spacebar it either does nothing or crashes.
I don't believe it's anything to do with my system being unable to handle it, and I don't know what else to try. Can anyone help me? It's pretty much vital I get it to work.

VideoDisplay Won't display video unless I hit the stop button

If I click the stop buttton then click play, I can see the
video fine. Anybody know why this might be happening. Obviously it
is getting the video fine since it does display it, but why do I
have to click stop before it will display?

It sounds like a problem I had. I was assigning the source of
the video before the component was fully intialized. I added a
creationComplete event that then assigned the source and this fixed
the problem for me. Can you post the code you are using to set the
source and play the video? That might help find a solution.
