Hp 14-r032tu on windows 7 32bit, no drivers???

So i downgraded my laptop from windows 8.1 64bit to windows 7 32bit. I downgraded because the laptop only as 2GB of RAM which just isnt enough to run a 64bit system properly. After installing windows 7 i have found the wireless drivers from atheros and the display drivers from intel but im missing serveral more drivers. HP websites lists no software or drivers at all and i dont know which drivers im missing so i dont know where to search for them. This is the list from device manager on what im missing:
Ethernet controller
PCI Device
PCI Encryption/Decryption Controller
SM Bus Controller
Universal Serial Bus (USB) Controller
So im guessing im missing the chipset drivers? Can anyone please help as to where i might find the drivers for the missing hardware?

Knowing issues:
1. Hips of NVidia drivers having issues with brightness or not recognising all graphic cards.
I found that only above mention version working with this laptop / graphic card. I had tried few versions from 178 to 306.97, regular, with WHQL and with moded inf and neither worked.
With generic basic adapter brightness and turning off screen by system working flawless, but you have just basic 2D functions. When you install version 257.41 driver working properly, you get all options and brightness working. However, diming and turning off screen by system not working.
Simple fix is to disable 'Generic PnP Monitor' in Device Manager. With this fix you are getting automatic turning off monitor by system, but losing brightness adjustment option.
My preferred option is with disabled 'Generic PnP Monitor'. Before disabling I had setup brightness for all power options to suit my needs and then I disabled 'Generic PnP Monitor'.
If I need to change brightness it is enough to enable 'Generic PnP Monitor' in Device Manager.
2. Turbo button and all function keys working correctly with and without installed SCM, except for brightness if you have disabled 'Generic PnP Monitor'.
3. If you decide not to install SCM as I, than you can use application 'KeyTweak' to assign any action to 'P1' button.

Windows 8.1 drivers MF4800 series

I just purchased a 4880 to replace perfectly workable older machine, 4150, because Canon never put out Win 8 drivers that worked well for scanning on that machine. Understandable, i guess, as it was fairly old. The 4880 was working great in Win 8 environment which is where I should have left things. But I checked Windows Compatibility site before upgrading to Win 8.1, and this machine was listed as "compatible."
Well, it's not. In fact, it's almost completely nonfunctional, with limited printing capability, but no scanning or two-way communication with the PC. Imagine my frustration when I contacted Canon and they said, no, we have no drivers, and "probably" will, but there's no way to know when. "Could be two days, could be six months," one rep said.
So, I'm thinking about returning it. Pretty shocked Canon would not have updated drivers for the OS now being sold on new PCs, especially when the OS has been out in developer stage for months. Does anyone else have better info on this, ie, is it worth keeping the machine past the return window on the chance that Canon might update the drivers? Meanwhile, be warned that if you have a machine in this series and want to upgrade to Win 8.1, you're asking for it.

Hi RCJ.
I understand that you are having issues with the printing and scanning functions now that the printer is connected to your Windows 8.1 operating system. The drivers for the Windows 8 operating system do work on Windows 8.1. I recommend performing a full uninstall and reinstall of the drivers, using the instructions below:
1. Unplug the USB cable from the printer.
***Please leave the USB cable disconnected until you have uninstalled and completely reinstalled the drivers. Connecting the printer before going through the "Setup Wizard" may cause the Windows operating system to install a generic driver for the printer.***
2. Press the Windows key and 'x'.
3. Select 'Control Panel'.
4. Select Devices and Printers. The Devices and Printers window opens.
5. In the Devices and Printers window, right click on the MF4800 Series and select 'Remove' to delete the printer. Delete all of the icons for the MF4880dw.
6. Close the Devices and Printers window then press the Windows key and 'x'.
7. Select 'Control Panel'.
8. Select 'Programs and Features'.
9. Double click on driver to uninstall. Follow the on screen prompts. Repeat to uninstall the MF Tool box.
10. Restart you computer.
11. Leaving the USB cable disconnected, please download the driver from the Canon website using the following link: http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/support/consumer
12. The site will automatically detect your operating system as Windows 8.1. Please click the drop down arrow and change it to Windows 8 (x64).
13. Next, select [Drivers] and the file [Windows 64bit] imageCLASS MF4890dw/MF4880dw MFDrivers (UFR II / FAX / ScanGear).
14. Click "I Agree - Begin Download".
15. Save the file to your computer. Once the download is complete, click "Run".
16. Click "I Decline - Go Back" on the Canon site and select [Software] and the file [Windows 32bit & 64bit] Tool Box Ver.4.9.1.1.mf15.
17. Save the file to your computer. Once the download is complete, click "Run".
18. Close the Canon window and go to the location on the computer where the files are saved.
19. You will see two icons with the name MF4800_Series_MFDrivers_W64_us_EN_2.exe. Double click on the yellow folder icon. In the folder you will see two files with the name "Setup". Double click on the "Setup" that has the type [Application].
20. The "MF Drivers Setup Wizard" will open. Please proceed through the setup and restart the computer.
21. After the computer restarts, please connect the USB cable to the computer and allow the computer to finish the installation process. Once the printer is listed in [Devices and Printers], right-click on the icon and select it as the default printer. Please open a document on the computer and print it out.
Please follow steps 19 and 20 to install the Canon MF Toolbox 4.9 software. Once the software is installed, please follow the steps below to complete a scan:
1. Press the [SCAN] button on the control panel of the printer and place a document in the feeder.
2. On the computer, open the MF Toolbox program.
3. Select the [PDF] scan function.
4. Click the green [Start] button in the PDF window. The scan should begin.
Another possible issue will be having a device, such as a USB hub or switch connected between the printer and the computer. If you do have a device such as this connected, we recommend removing the printer and creating a direct connection from the printer to the computer.

It's all working fine except I cannot get the printer, a HP Laserjet 4345MX, shared via a HP ML350 server running Windows Server 2003 SP2, working on it.
I have downloaded the appropriate Windows 7 x64 drivers from the HP website (the PCL6 v5.2 package) and tried adding these on the server (through printer properties, sharing, additional drivers, under the x64 box), but it is refusing to accept these drivers (I've tried every .inf in the package).
If anyone could offer any advice on how to get this setup working that'd be great, thanks

Windows 8.1 drivers for dv6-6053ea

At the moment i am using windows 7 and the drivers i need are only from HP which are from 2011 only for windows 7. So i was wondering can i find drivers for windows 8.1 and will they work? The main problem is graphics driver.. i can only use the one HP has made and when i download a driver from AMD site i can't install it. So i was thinking maybe when i install windows 8.1 i can find a newer driver that works.

HP does not have Windows 8.1 drivers posted for your model but we can find drivers for you and yes, you will be able to use AMD drivers from their site for the video.

Bootcamp Windows 7 (64) Drivers

After 2 days of struggling to find the right way to install Window 7's drivers properly I'm out of ideas. I've installed Windows 7 now twice with no issue, it just seems I can't get a single driver to work for me. I'll list the specs of my computer and then list what I've done in order to see what else we can do.
Late 2012 MacBook Pro 13-Inch
OSX V. 10.8.2 (Mountain Lion)
2.5 Intel i5
4 GB DDR 3
And what I've done
1. BCA Windows Support Software download to CD/DVD or Drive (multiple times) with NO luck. My error message reads "Can't install Windows Support Software" every. single. time.
2. Tried an original retail download of Snow Leopard on Windows 7. This got me the furtherest, as it installed Boot Camp 3.1 but nothing else. While the installation lead me to believe it installed all the necessary drivers, Device manager tells me differently. No drivers were installed, regardless of what the install setup bars may have stated.
3. Pulled various different Bootcamp Update Patches from the downloads section in hopes something might give. Trying 2.0, 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, and 4.0, I still have had no success. Most of these attempts consisted of "corrupt file" errors or "This is just a patch install, not the full blow support software" message. 2.0 and 3.1 did install, however no drivers installed during setup or manually.
4. Frustrated at the fact not one driver installed, I'd hope to find an up to date Broadcom network driver to install some where online. After digging through forums, I found one. Downloaded the most up to date driver, (I took 2 other broadcom drivers below it just in case), installed the driver, and proceeded to verify. The driver did install correctly this time around yet once my password for my network went through I was prompted with a message stating "Windows can not connect to the network". After reading MORE forums, I was lead to believe this might be the wrong driver.
So how is I actually get the right driver? or the right support software for that matter? I'm truly exhausted after working on this for 10+ for 2 days straight, hoping to have this up and running so I can get back to work. At this point, I'd take a simple ethernet driver so that I can hardwire into the comp for the moment in hopes that Windows Update will pull the drivers through.

Read and follow the Bootcamp Installation Manual. It is the first option when you run Bootcamp Assistant. After downloading and saving the Windows Support Software as described in the installation manual you run the support software from within Windows.

Probably problem with Dell printer,DLCFtime.dll is part of Dell printer driver software, maybe you must update the driver or re-install the software, read here for more information:

How big is your database?
1)If database size is small, create a blank test db . Export from Production using expdp and impdp onto Test.
2)If database size is hundreds of gb's use rman duplicate command. As you are restoring on to same host
configure db_file_name_convert/log_file_name_convert in your pfile properly
And also control_files parameter to new location in your new pfile.

- /3GB
Windows 32bit OS 에서 메모리 어드레싱은 4GB 까지 가능하고, 이 중 2GB 는 커널이 사용하고
나머지 2GB 가 사용자 프로세스에게 할당되는 최대 메모리 크기이다. Windows 2000 이상에서는
/3GB 옵션을 사용하여 커널에 1GB 만 할당하고 나머지 3GB 를 사용자 프로세스에게 할당하여
2GB 한계를 넘어 메모리를 확장하여 사용할 수 있다. OS 에서는 boot.ini에 /3GB 옵션 추가하고,
어플리케이션 실행파일 헤더에 IMAGE_FILE_LARGE_ADDRESS_AWARE bit 이 설정되어 있으면 된다.
Oracle 8.1.7 이상에서는 기본적으로 IMAGE_FILE_LARGE_ADDRESS_AWARE bit 설정되었으므로 3GB

예를들어 Oracle 은 가상 메모리 2GB 영역 (/3GB 사용하면 3GB) 내에 포인터 테이블(window)만
저장하고 실제 DB BUFFER CACHE 는 "별도 메모리 영역" 에 할당한 후, BUFFER CACHE 사용시
포인터 테이블을 매개하여 실제 BUFFER CACHE 영역 사용한다. 여기서 "별도 메모리 영역" 도

- AWE (Address Windowing Extensions) & Oracle 구현방식
AWE 는 PAE 기능을 사용하도록 어플리케이션에 제공된 API 이다.

AWE 구현된 Oracle 버젼들은 3GB 이상의 SGA 사용할 수 있는데, 정확히 말하면 SGA 중 BUFFER CACHE
영역만 3GB 이상의 "별도 메모리 영역"에 지정할 수 있다. 오라클에서 AWE 를 사용하면 BUFFER CACHE
사용시 포인터 테이블과 실제 BUFFER CACHE 가 있는 별도 메모리 영역과의 mapping & unmapping
과정이 추가되므로 기본적인 처리보다 느릴 수 있지만, 적어도 IO 을 줄일 수 있기 때문에
IO 느린 시스템에서는 성능 향상을 기대할 수 있다.
2. Windows 32bit 메모리 확장 설정 방법
- boot.ini 에 /3GB /PAE option 을 추가

- 오라클 서비스 실행하는 OS USER 에 "Lock memory pages"의 권한 부여
. Start -> Programs -> Administrative Tools -> Local Security Policy
(on a Domain Controller, click on 'Domain Security Policy' instead of 'Local Security Policy')
. Double-click on the 'Lock Pages in memory' policy.
. Add the appropriate user and click 'Ok'.
. Restart the OracleService<SID>
- 포인터 테이블 (window) 크기 지정하는 AWE_WINDOW_MEMORY 를 레지스트리 추가
. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE => Software => Oracle => HomeX 에 AWE_WINDOW_MEMORY=1024000000 추가
주의! 여러 인스턴스라면 각 Home 에 추가
- init.ora 에 USE_INDIRECT_DATA_BUFFERS=TRUE 추가하고 DB_BLOCK_BUFFERS 로 BUFFER CACHE 크기 설정
주의! DB_CACHE_SIZE 로 BUFFER CACHE 지정하면 에러 발생한다.
ORA-00385: cannot enable Very Large Memory with new buffer cache parameters
- Oracle10g 에서는 SGA_TARGET=0 설정하여 Automatic Memory Management 를 disable 해야한다.
3. AWE_WINDOW_MEMORY 크기 계산 방법
(1) 기본값 : AWE_WINDOW_MEMORY = 1GB
/PAE /3GB 를 지정해도 아래 메모리들의 총합은 3GB 내에 들어와야한다.
- AWE_WINDOW_MEMORY
- BUFFER CACHE 제외한 SGA (shared_pool, large_pool, java_pool, log_buffers ...)
- Overhead for Oracle.exe DLLs (100MB 정도)
- Stack space per thread (1MB/thread)
- PGA and UGA
결국 BUFFER CACHE 최대 크기는 OS 메모리 - 4GB + AWE_WINDOW_MEMORY 로 산정된다.
(여기서 4GB는 Oracle이 사용하는 3GB와 OS에서 사용하는 1GB의 합. 결국 이 영역을 제외한 나머지 영역에 buffer cache를 지정하여 사용할 수 있다.)
예를들어 12GB RAM 시스템에서 최대 BUFFER CACHE 크기= (Total RAM - 4GB + AWE_WINDOW_MEMORY) = 12GB - 4GB + 1GB = 9GB 이다.
(2) 8.1.7 이하에서는 AWE_WINDOW_MEMORY 최소값 제한이 없었으나,
Oracle9i R2 부터 최소값보다 작게 설정하면 DB 기동시 에러들이 발생한다.

주의 !!!
1. ORA-27102 는 AWE_WINDOW_MEMORY 최소값 이하일때도 발생하지만, BUFFER CACHE 가
실제 메모리보다 크게 지정된 경우에도 발생한다.
2. ORA-27102 는 DB_BLOCK_BUFFER < AWE_WINDOW_MEMORY 일때도 발생한다.
3. AWE_WINDOW_MEMORY 설정값은 "계산된 최소값 + 10 MB (overhead)" 으로 설정해야한다.
4. Hyperthreading enabled 시스템의 경우 # of CPU's 를 두배로 계산해야한다.

TASK MANAGER 에서 VM 값은 정확하지 않으므로 관리도구에서 별도 모니터링해야한다.

5. Windows 에서 Oracle 메모리 사용량 줄이는 방법
(1) Oracle 실행파일 스택 크기 조정
Thread 들이 미리 1MB 스택을 PGA 로 선점하고 필요하게 되면 더 확장해서 사용하는데
대부분들의 Thread 들은 초기 스택도 사용하지 않는 경우가 많다.
아래처럼 default=1 MB 를 500 KB로 줄일 수 있다.
. DB 내린 후 ORACLE_HOME/bin 에서 수행

(2) Shared Server (pre-Oracle9i 는 MTS 설정) 사용: 세션들이 메모리를 공유하므로 Oracle 프로세스 전체적인 메모리를 줄일 수 있다.

Basically ORA-12154 means, service name can't be found in tnsnames.ora or this file can't be located at all. Are there multiple ORACLE_HOMEs on the machine ? Is the application based on OLEDB running in a different home , NOT in the client's ORACLE_HOME? You may set TNS_ADMIN, pointing to your tnsnames.ora, as global environment variable. So each application on the machine will know this location.
I'm sure this is not a problem 64bit versus 32bit.

I don't have DVDs. I can only download from the SAP Software Distribution Center and there I can find 51036014 NW CE 7.11 Appl., Dev.WP 32bit, Doc. 1 of 6.
In the Requirements for the training SAP wrote we have to install SAP EHP1 for NetWeaver CE 7.1 SP4 and Oracle 10.2 or SQL-Server 2005.
If I look to the downloaded 51036014 kit I find the following directories:

How to remove Windows XP files/drivers from Petition it was installed on?!?

So I tried installing Windows XP on my computer, it asked to choose a petition to install it on or whatever, I believe the screen was blue. I chose one and it asked to erase it so I did because I had some issues earlier after trying to quit the installation.
I had a recovered version of Mac OS X on my external hard drive so it's now my startup disc, is there a way to go back and recover that petition or erase it so I can completely start fresh with Mac OSX.
When I tried to install the cd's using the holding down "C" when restarting it showed I only had like 14GB of memory total not available but that's all that I had when I know my computer should have 120GB. I am wondering if it was through installing Windows XP so I want to go in and find that petition and remove the Windows and see if that gives me that memory back.
Anybody know how to either Remove the Windows files(which didn't work anyway) or how to locate the petition and remove the windows files and drivers from it?

Use the Boot Camp Assistant in the /Applications/Utilities/ folder to remove the partition; you may need to use the Disk Utility to repair the drive.

MBP Retina Windows 7 x64 drivers will not load

I knew nothing about Mac or OSX and got my MBP running in July.
Then later I realised I shoudl take advantage of the Solidworks capacity to run 64bit so I removed partition, got the ISO, made the Flash USB, installed Windows 7 x64 and it is now installed.
But none of the drivers copied in. I used the latest updated Bootcamp 4.0.4 and really the first time I did this everything worked when I installed Win 7 x86 and the pc just started in Windows perfectly all drivers working (except the tap function on trackpad did not work).
I did everything according bootcamp instructions but no luck this time the drivers did not go in (i think)
Now my new windows 7 x64 is exactly as per my installaion disk W7 Sp1.0 x64 all there but absolute disaster the screen is not recognised I cannot even start to get the wireless working so no network no internet no help.
I tried to run the setup.exe from the USB ( where Bootcamp made directorories and copied nicely all the files etc etc) as per the printed copy of the bootcamp installation guide (printed copy on hand) but no success
What now please help?

(bump) I have a similar issue. Win7 installed fine but I have a few hardware drivers which did not load, particarly the wifi driver.
Anyone know how to handle this?
