HP 19 All-in-One Screen Still Black

Hi, I have a problem with my PC and I need help to get it fixed ASAP! I've had it for a little over a year, I've taken very good care of it and it has never given me problems before now.
It was running, working normally, and I had left it for a little bit, long enough for it to go into sleep mode, and when I came back to it it was still running but the screen stayed black and would not come back on no matter what I did (move/click the mouse, push the sleep mode key, etc) so I tried restarting manually, the computer turned on and made all its usual noises but the screen stayed black and the mouse and keyboard didn't turn on/lights on them didn't light up, and this continued to happen every time I turned the computer off and back on.
Apparently this problem is more common than I expected but none of the supposed solutions worked for me. I tried resetting the BIOS using keyboard shortcuts as directed but that didn't work presumably because the keyboard isn't working. I tried unplugging my mouse and keyboard and plugging in different ones but those didn't turn on either. I tried doing a hard reset, and I either wasn't successful or I was and the problem is physical. I then tried taking the back cover off to see if I could find a problem inside but everything looked normal and nothing is loose (although it should be noted that i'm not super knowlegeable about computers)
I've tried leaving the computer on and waiting to see if the problem would fix itself and I've tried leaving the computer off overnight and not messing with it and nothing is working. I would like to know what the problem could possibly be and if I can fix it myself before I have to call someone or take it somewhere  because I have a hard time talking on the phone and I do not have the funds to have my computer replaced or fixed by a professional.
Thanks!

    Hi,
Have you installed programs or moved any documents? If this is a brand new computer a Recovery might be the easiest solution.

i have tried manythings but it doesn't work
i put it in silent mode and i found my calls comes normaly and it works good but when i turn on ring mode it's back as it how can i fix that ?!

Basic troubleshooting steps outlined in the user guide are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new device.  Try each of these steps until your problem is solved. If these steps fail to solve your issue, then you'll need to bring your phone into Apple (or an authorized service provider in your area) for evaluation.

  • Turn on MacBook Pro but screen still black

So, I tried to turn on my Mac. And when I hit power button, it starts and suddenly the white screen goes off. And I'm no longer available to see my screen.
I restart my Mac with the power button and nothing yet, screen still black. Even try safe mode but didn't work.
Don't know if it's hardware or software issue. Help please.

If a SMC reset does not help, make an appointment at an Apple store genius bar for a free evaluation.  I suspect that there are hardware problems with your MBP.  Probably the display or the GPU.

My ipad's screen is black. When it  take charge, I can hear sound but still black. I press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds but this doesn't work. Screen still black! PLS HELP ME!

How long did you let it charge? It may take 30 minutes before the iPad responds when the battery is completely drained. Let it charge for at least 30 minute using the wall charger. Then rest the iPad. Press and hold both the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button continuously until the Apple logo appears. Then release the button and let the device restart. You will not lose data doing this. It's like a computer reboot.
If the iPad restarts let it continue to charge until the battery is 100%.
If the iPad still does not start make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support.

  • 7510 e-ALL-IN-ONE not printing black ink.

I have a Photosmart 7510 e-ALL-IN-ONE printer that has worked beautifully until the last time I replaced the black ink.  The printer screen says the ink cartridge is full, yet nothing will print.  I checked the vent on the cartridge, it seems to be fine.  I performed the clean cartridge procedure, but still nothing. This has been a great printer; what do I do?

I would suggest the troubleshooting steps in the document here to address black not printing on your Photosmart 7510.  If the first four solutions listed to not resolve the issue the post here may help.

  • IPod Classic Screen still black after restoring it

After dropping my iPod classic, the screen went black and I could no longer get it to work.  I was able to restore it however the screen is still black. I can hear it clicking when I spin the will and it connects to iTunes but the screen is still black. Is there any way to fix this?

Put it in the rice for couple of more days. Then
    Try:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try on another computer
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

  • Deskjet 3056A E-all-in-one not printing black ink properly

Hello, I've had my Deskjet 3056A E-all-in-one printer for 2 years and didn't have any problems until about 3 months ago. My black ink cartridge suddenly stopped printing properly. It started to seem like I needed to replace the ink, so I did, but that did not fix the problem. It still seems like the ink level is really, really low sometimes, but it's a brand new cartridge. I couldn't even align the printhead because the black ink wouldn't print. Then I cleaned the printhead and cleaned the ink smear. When the test papers printed after the cleanings the black ink would only print half of the line of letters or numbers, or it was just choppy and faded. I checked the ink levels and it says both of my ink cartridges are almost full still. I was thinking about replacing the cartridge again, but I don't want to waste the money if it won't fix the problem. The color cartridge works completely fine, just to clarify.

If the black cartridge is in warranty you could contact HP Phone Support

  • Screen still black. Help please.

Hi there. I bought an iMac yesterday, but after a few hours playing around with it, the screen went black like it was going to sleep. I tried waking it up, but nothing happened. I unplugged it and tried restarting it, but the startup sound played and the screen was still black. After about an hour, it went back to normal, but then five minutes later, BAM. It happened again. I went to bed and left it, and when I woke up, it seemed fine. But after ten minutes, it's gone again. It seems to happen whenever I'm on YouTube or playing videos in Quicktime, so is there a way to prevent this crashing in the future?

If you purchased it directly from Apple take it back to the Apple Store you purchased it from. If you purchased it from another retailer return it for exchange from them. Otherwise you will need to contact AppleCare (number is in your owners manual), obviously this should not be occurring on a new machine. AppleCare is open M-Saturday during normal business hours.

  • Hi there,  I have a Brother 7820N all-in-one printing with Black line

    Hi there,
I have Brother all-in-one that just recently started generating copies with  several black lines,  on the right side of the page,  about 1 inch from the margin.
This happened a few years ago I was able to contact  Brother support, by phone, they answered the call and guided me through the process to eliminate the problem.  I can not get any phone numbers for Brother Customer Service any more and the copies just look terrible.
Can anyone walk me through how to eliminiate this problem?
    thanks!
    Laura

Open System Preferences > Print & Scan then select the Print tab then click Open Print Queue
Delete all jobs from the print queue
Restart your Mac and restart the printer.
See if that made a difference.
If not, might be corrupted print preferences ...
Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy paste the following:
    ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.print.PrintingPrefs.plist
Click Go then move the com.apple.print.PrintingPrefs.plist file to the Trash.
    Try printing.

  • HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPP! My cm1312 all in one printer prints black stripes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My hp all in one does weird thing today - Printing black stripes! Ouch!
I bought this last year and I don't want to spend a lot of money on it. Does anyone know how to fix it? Also, I am trying to do a regular maintenance by myself, does anyone know what kind of thing I should do to keep it running properly? Any good tip helps!
    Thanks.

I have the same problem.  I bought my CM1312 in May 2010 and since last week, it's been printing horizontal black stripes over the regular printing.  Those lines are really black...darker on the front of the page and lighter on the back.  The first page I print in the morning is usually all black and then it goes away as I print.  But it comes back if I stop printing for an hour or two.... I'm guessing some kind of a leak... I also have very very light vertical stripes on the paper.  I had the both kind of stripes but very light...and I changed the cartridge and now it's absolutly unreadable.  Help please
