HP 2600n-Lines on output

I have a LaserJet 2600n which has begun to produce a 1/8" and 1/16" line on the right side of the paper from top to bottom on every page printed. When the front door is opened, you can see a line of toner on the left side of the black, plastic belt. This toner is easily cleaned off but upon resetting itself, the lines reappear. I have asked at the store where I purchased the unit but none of the suggestions really addressed the problem.I have run some cleaning sheets through the printer and used the self-clean feature with no luck. The toner cartridges are the original ones. I have a set of new HP cartridges to install ($400+) but I have not yet run out of toner on any color. Any suggestions on what might need cleaning or replacing? Thanks

I've just begun trying to figure this out too. What I have found to be VERY interesting is that WHEN I tell the PC (withing windows XP pro) that the paper type is TRANSPARENCY the grey background issue is GREATLY decreased.
I tested trying out telling the pc and printer I was using all other paper types as well. ALL but the Transparency option had fairly equal grey background haze.
If someone can jump in and help me/us understand the answer to: "What does changing the paper type, within printing preferences, make the printer do differently?   THEN perhaps we can get one step closer to solving this issue.
The fact that the software has such an effect on the grey background haze has me hopeful that there is a alternative driver tweek that may be able to solve the problem vs buying more hardware.
I have already updated to the latest driver and also updated the printer to the latest firmware. (I do not believe this made ANY difference)
ANY THOUGHTS?

  • Sound - Change input line to output line

    Hi to everyone I just have a question.
    It is possible to change the input line to output to have an stereo output?
    I use pulseaudio. My sound works great. Even when I connect earphones, the audio of my laptop speakers go off. But I have an amplifier (5.1 channels) and I want to connect my laptop to it. (I use Windows too, and it use the realtek software to change the input line to output) I'm really a total newbie with everything related to sound (I apologize for that), but I even didn't found the answer in the wiki (or there is no answer over there or I really didn't understand).
    Thanks in advance for any help,  I will continue searching for the answer and posting in here if I succeed.

    P.D If it is possible, then it is possible to use the laptop speaker, input and output line to sound? (3 channels for that, it would be an 7.1 channels)

    Hi,
    What kind of invoice are you trying to change the account for, after you changed the "Allow Matching Account Override" option ? Was the invoice open and unaccounted then ? If an invoice was matched to PO a and accounted for before you changed this option, you won't be able modify the distribution of such an invoice. If this is in a test instance, try doing it for a new invoice first.

  • To print dashed line in output screen

    hi all,
    I want to print dashed horizontal line in output screen with out using loops. Is there any statement to print that like sy-uline to print horizontal line..It would be appriciate with points if any one comes with correct answer...
    Thanks in adv
    Regards
    Reddy

    Hi Veeranagi,
    To print Dashed line, either you can use
    WRITE: '----
    If you dont want to use such statement, simply create a text element with
    TEXT-001   '----
    ' and then use
    WRITE: TEXT-001
    Reward if useful.
    Best Regards,
    Ram.

  • LIN Frame Output

    Hello,
    I am trying to output LIN communications to an actuator from a vehicle using and NI 9866. We currently have one piece of equipment which is able to drive these actuators via LIN comm (this is not NI equipment). I have used the bus monitor from MAX to monitor the data that this outputs onto the bus. I know that the ID of the actuator that I am trying to drive is 2. This appears in the bus monitor along with the data. I then try to use the example in LabVIEW (LIN frame output single point) to try and output this data onto the LIN bus but nothing happens. The actuator does not drive. I have attached 3 screen shots of what I am trying to do.
    Can someone take a look at these screenshots and offer some suggestions? One thing I am not sure of is the frame list selection in the LIN Frame Output Single Point.vi.
    ThankYou
    Rhys

  • Not able to display flat file's error line in output

    The below Source Code is BDC for XD01 (update Customer Master Record) in CALL TRANSACTION method. This program is written in call transaction method cause as per user’s requirement, user wants error log to be printed as soon as the BDC process finished in the background mode.
    When you execute this below program it will show a selection screen from where you can select your flat file from system.
    After executing this code show output like below as soon as it finished processing the FLAT file.
    1. Customer Update Summary
    2. Successful record with customer number and name.
    3. Error Records with 'record number' and 'reason for error'
    (For testing you just have to copy-paste-save-active  the source code)
    And I have encountered an issue over here in 3rd section-“Record Number” of “Error Records”.
    The “Record Number” is for display the line number of that flat file line which in which error has occurred.
    The “Record Number”  Entries showing only ‘0’ instead of showing line number of error entry .
    I have used Function Module FORMAT_MESSAGE to capture the errors. But not able to display line number of that flat file which is containing error.
    So please suggest me what changes I should make in below source code to get proper output.
    Flat file for your R&D

  • Log4j async appender and line number output

    Hello,
    I am trying to implement log4j in my application, and would like to log the caller class and the line number of the call. When I do not use async appender, the caller class and the line number are logged. However when I add the same appenders to the AsyncAppender, the caller information is lost. Please, take a look at the config and output snippets.
    Thanks,
    Elana

    I don't think you can use AsyncAppender with a properties file. You have to use XML and a JoranConfigurator

  • Method GUI_DOWNLOAD not creating CRLF at end-of-each-line of output

    Hello SDN Community,  has anyone experienced CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES=> GUI_DOWNLOAD not putting the CRLF at end of exported lines?  This can be seen when you view the output file in notepad (the file contents wrap) or an editor with hex view enabled  (0A0D).
    I have tried running an ABAP that runs this method and on some people's laptop's the file wraps and on others the file is formatted (as would be expected) as per the CRLF's.
    My understanding is that the GUI_DOWNLOAD method should provide the CRLF's.   And on my laptop (running Vista and SAP ECC 6.0 back-end) it wraps the output because there are no CRLF's in the file.
    Your experiences would be appreciated.
    Thank you,
    Dean Atteberry.

    Thank you, Alejandro, for your comments.  I am using two systems - on one it works and on the other it does not.
    The one that works is an SAP ECC 6.0 where the CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES class has a Last Change date of 03.07.2006.
    The one do not work is SAP ECC 6.0 where the CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES class has a Last Change date of 07/08/2009.
    If I look at the code in GET_PLATFORM, it is verry different between the two systems.
    On the one that works, it executes following code and platformID has value of '5'.  This later used to assign the correct value for CRLF variable which is used to concatenate to end of records  (value is '0A0D').
    ELSE.
    *     SAP GUI for Windows
          IF ACTIVEX IS NOT INITIAL.

    * VER_PLATFORM_WIN32s             0

                P_COUNT    = 0
                QUEUE_ONLY = ' '
              IMPORTING
                RESULT     = platformID
              EXCEPTIONS
                OTHERS     = 1.
            IF SY-SUBRC <> 0.
              RAISE CNTL_ERROR.
            ENDIF.
    On the one that does not work, it executes following code.  In the debugger, when control comes back from CL_GUI_CFW=>FLUSH call, I can see the PLATFORMID variable change to '15'.  This is moved to M_PLATFORM and ultimately is used later in a case statement to assign the appropriate value to CRLF variable.
    HOWEVER, THERE IS NO "WHEN 15" statement in the CASE statement - IT ONLY GOES UP TO '14'.   Because of this, no value is assigned to the CRLF variable and when subsequently this variable is concatenated to the output line, there is no CRLF (0A0D) at the end of the line.  Because the CRLF variable is blank.  [see coding snippets at end-of-note]
    Is there an better place than General ABAP forum to discuss this?  Possibly this item might benefit from the attention of SAP developers?
    Following are code snippets illustrating findings from debugging...
    This shows the FLUSH statement that causes '15' to appear in the PLATFORMID variable.
    IF bPLATFORMEX = ABAP_TRUE.

  • ME28 transaction is giving Deleted Purchasing Lines in Output list

    Hi Guru,
    One of my user when run the transaction ME28 transaction, in the output contains the deleted line items also. But for me it is not displaying So. Could you please let me know any settings where deleted line items are excluded. Hope this is going to be a user specific settings. I checked the scope of list and reporting related in SPRO--> Materials Management --> Reporting and found no clue.
    Regards
    Lucky.

    Hi,
    My scenario are as follows
    1.) If the PO has one item and it is deleted total PO does not appear in ME28 for my id but appearing it for other id.
    2.) If PO has more items and only one item is deleted then deleted item does not appear in my ide but appears in other id.
    Note that in both the scenarios PO is released at Header Level (which has nothing to do with).
    Only line items are displayed for better view for the user, based on Scope of list.
    Regards
    Lucky.

  • Nested tables as separate lines in output

    I'm working with Adobe forms using transaction SFP from the ABAP Workbench. I'm trying to construct a prototype of an SD invoice, with one internal table having the basic item data, and then a secondary table with further information, such as discounts, taxes, etc. The item number is part of both tables so that they can be related to each other. Using right-click and Create in the context I constructed a loop on the main table, and then under that a loop on the secondary table, with the equal item number as a condition. It all works, but in the output the secondary data comes out on the same line as the main item data, and when I try to drag it down to the next line in the layout, it changes its position in the data view also, so that it's outside the loop and prints only once, over the second main item line. Surely for an invoice or a purchase order it's normal to have one basic item line, and then one or more other lines with various other information for each item. It's very easy in both SAPscript and Smart Forms to have a loop within a loop displaying separate lines, but so far I haven't been able to get it to work with Adobe.

  • New line in output

    Hi
    I have a receiver FCC.(file to file scenario)
    I wanted a an empty line at the begininning of my output.
    Does add.headerline work for that? if not can sum1 suggest something?
    Thanks
    Mark

    Hello,
    Try this parameters at the receiver file adapter:
    NameA.addHeaderLine
    Specify whether the text file will have a header line with column names. The following values are permitted:
    ·        0 u2013 No header line
    ·        1 u2013 Header line with column names from the XML document
    ·        2 u2013 As for 1, followed by a blank line
    ·        3 u2013 Header line is stored as NameA.headerLine in the configuration and is applied
    ·        4 u2013 As for 3, followed by a blank line
    This specification is only permitted if exactly one structure is defined.
    NameA.headerLine
    Specify the header line that is generated in the text file if NameA.addHeaderLine has the value 3 or 4. This specification is mandatory in this case.
    Also you can search "Converting File Content in the Receiver Adapter" on help.sap.com

  • Now possible to scroll line-wrapped output in window of ModalDialog?

    Hello,
    At some point the plugin I am working on must display a window with extracted values (varPathName), in this case the full-path-names to image files.
    Depending on the users selection there are many or only a few full-path-names in the output.
    The output is one line that wraps within the given width of the window and should remain so.
    No problem for adjusting the height of the window by calculating the value for the variable 'outputlines'.
    But sometimes there might be more output than available space inside the window (full height on the screen). Therefore I would like to have a scroll-bar on the right side of the window.
    How can this be achieved given the code below. Is it possible to create a scroll-bar after all?
    local f = LrView.osFactory()
         local c = f:row{
              bind_to_object = props,
                   f:column {
                        f:edit_field {
                             value = varPathName,
                             width_in_chars = 80,
                             height_in_lines = outputlines
         dialogValue = LrDialogs.presentModalDialog({
              title = "extracted Paths and File Names" ,
              contents = c,
    Feedback is much appreciated.

    Thanks Rob,
    so the output gets saved to a file in the system-temp folder and then opened in an editor.
    Like this:
    communicatorFile = LrFileUtils.chooseUniqueFileName(LrFileUtils.chooseUniqueFileName( LrPathUtils.child(LrPathUtils.getStandardFilePath("temp"), "FilesPathsList_string.txt")))
    local createFile = assert(io.open(communicatorFile,"w+"))
         createFile:write(varPathName)
         createFile:close()
    fileToOpen = string.format("%q", communicatorFile)
    LrShell.openFilesInApp( { fileToOpen }, "notepad.exe")

  • Deleting line on output screen that is written by Write statement....

    Hello Gurus,
    In my case there is data written on output screen. When I double click on line on ABAP report execution output screen, I want that line to be deleted from output screen.
    I know I will have to write the logic at line-selection but how can I delete line that is written on screen using write statement ?
    Regards,
    Jainam.

    Hi Jainam,
    When you say AT LINE-SELECTION. It is an intercative list only.
    This is not possible to delete when you double click on a record.
    However I have created a small code snippet for you. But to display something on the secondary list, you have to write a WRITE statement...The code as below :-
    TABLES MARA.
    DATA: BEGIN OF itab OCCURS 1,
          MATNR like MARA-MATNR,
          MEINS LIKE MARA-MEINS,
          END OF itab.
    SELECT MATNR MEINS FROM MARA INTO TABLE itab.
    sort itab by MATNR.
    LOOP AT itab.
      WRITE:/ itab-MATNR.
      HIDE itab-MATNR.
    ENDLOOP.
    AT LINE-SELECTION.
      IF sy-lsind = 1.
        CLEAR itab-MATNR.
        write : sy-lilli.
      ENDIF.
    Kindly set to resolved, if this clears you question.
    Regards

  • Lines across output video

    Hey guys, I made a video for my youth group, but there are lines across my video when I output it using compressor. Im thinking i have the settings wrong or something. You can download my video here: http://www.mediafire.com/?jyizywhzyzj to see what I'm talking about. If you look closely at the edges of things (such as the words "God is moving here" and the edges of the white ink) you will see lines. Its really annoying and I think it will look bad on a big screen. So please let me know what I am doing wrong. Thanks!

    Go to the Frame Controls tab in Compressor and set Output Fields to Progressive. You may also need to switch Deinterlacing to Better.
    Note that this will increase encoding time.

  • Unicode conversion causing OCRA, OCRB, and MICR lines to output as symbols

    Hi,
    I am tesing the printing of SAPScript invoices in a Unicode converted sandbox copy of our production system. When viewing the OTF output of an invoice I noticed that the line for postal barcode using OCR-B font is producing # symbols instead of numbers reprsenting the postal zip code. This works in the Non-Unicode environment on our production server.
    The printer is an HPLJ8150. The device type for the printer that is used for the invoice, is ZHP8150, which uses the base device type of HPLJ8000. The character set is 1116, which is ISO 8859-1.
    Can anyone tell me how to go about correcting this problem?
    Any help will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Mark

    Hi Nils,
    Thank you for the information. I have created a new message in the Form Printing forum. Since this is something that was changed after the unicode conversion, I think I will leave this message open a little while longer incase someone who experienced this type of issue is looking in this forum.
    Two things I should add. One, the font used for the device type is working in a Non-Unicode production system at this time. Two, the OTF output of the spool is not printed on our printer but is instead converted to XML and the resulting file is FTP'd to a third party for printing. So the zip code that is represented by the bar code font is just the numerical text that is in the OTF output which is sent in the XML file.

  • Line Level Output

    I have a wonderful pair of headphones and a nice headphone pre-amp to push them, I would much prefer to send the preamp a line level signal out and bypass any sort of volume control on the macbook. (the preamp has its own volume knob) Unfortunately after googling the problem I can not figure out how to do it.
    How can i get a clean line level out signal to my pre-amp? (note: that the headphone preamp is straight analog, so digital connection is not an option)
    Thanks!

    Thank you for your help ypw. If I cant natively get a line out signal, surely there must be some kind of adapter to do us.. (DAC or USB?). What would be the cheapest way to get a line out signal?
    Maybe this:
    http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore.woa/wa/RSLID?mco=361 EEAA5&nplm=TF815LL/A
    It frankly doesn't do anything that MacBook doesn't already do, but perhaps the components are better.
    I was just looking around for external DACs. As far as I recall, almost all tend to be really pricey since they're designed for audiophiles and have low production. The circuit itself can't be that expensive (they cost almost nothing to add to a preamp or receiver), but there isn't a huge market for separates.
    I saw this one for $249:
    http://www.ibasso.com/ShowProduct.aspx?ID=34
    I saw a few combination DAC/headphone amps that allow you to turn off the amp output and use it as a line-level device. Pricey though.
    This one looks pretty nice:
