HP 2600n's margin problem with driver 2.3

After installing the new driver v2.3, my printer started to have a margin problem. Even if I setup any margin correctly (on any software...) the page printed has borders cut off and it is shifted on the left (or, left margin is less than the right). Obviously, this problem was found with files that previously were printed correctly.
Only by reducing by more than one cm margins, the print is not cut, but the page continues to be shifted to the left.
Any help?
Thanks.

Try downloading and re-installing the Snow Leopard drivers and seeing if that fixes anything.

I speak of Brazil, I have a smarthfone BlackBerry 8100 and a Dell Inspiron 1525 notebook with Windows Vista 32-bit, Service Pack 1. I'm having problems with "Bluetooth peripheral device" and the solution of the problem indicates to contact with RIM to find and properly install the driver of that device. How did attempt to resolve the download of the BlackBerry Desktop Software v4.7, but said, I want to get a resolution to the problem. No more, thank you now.

  • MBP 2011 can't find harddrive (not problem with drive or cable)

My early 2011 MBP 13" was running fine, then froze up. On restart I got the image of the folder with a question mark on it (the Mystery Folder) - the system couldn't find a drive to boot from.
I took it to a genius bar and the, ahem, "genius" said the system couldn't find the drive because of a problem with the drive. "The drive's dead" he said. I hadn't backed it up, and was freaking out that I'd lose all my data. The only option he said Apple could do would be to take it away (for a week) and put a new hard drive in for £80. They'd take the old drive out, and I wouldn't get it back to try and recover the data.
I asked about replacing the drive myself, as I've done that on PCs, and he said I could try it.
I bought a new hard drive, and an external enclosure. I put the new hard drive in the MBP - Mystery Folder. I put the old drive in the external enclosure - it starts up! Everything still there, exactly as I left it when it froze. I clone the old hard drive onto the new one, try booting from the new drive in the MBP. Mystery Folder. I connect the new drive with an external enclosure - it starts up! And everything running fine.
It's the cable, I hear you cry. So I ordered a new internal cable. Replaced it. Started it up. Mystery Folder.
So, it's not the hard drive, it's not the cable. What is it?!

    Hi Ogelthorpe.
That's right - I now have 2 hard drives, clones of each other.
Both will boot when in an enclosure and connected with a USB.
Neither will boot when inside the MBP.
So it's not the drives that are the problem. Therefore it's an internal cable problem?
    I replaced the cable.
Neither drive works when connected internally with the new cable.
What else could it be that means the system can't see the hard drive when connected internally?

  • Extreme Music - Problems with Driver and Installation

    Hi guys,
?After the my computer has given up it's life on the last friday, I bought a new one and wanted yesterday to install everything like OS, driver and so on.
I started the install of the driver(which is the version from the creative website , released in july 2009) for my soundcard, the X-FI Extreme Music and when the information was given, that the Windows drivers will be updated and it will take some minutes, something happend:
At my first try a bluescreen appered. You can imagine, that I was shocked to see a bluescreen on my new pc after an hour.
I run CCleaner to remove some rests of the "maybe installed" driver and started it again. There was no bluescreen, but the mouse freezes and the setup does nothing anymore. I can close it with may keyboard, but the driver wasn't installed.
After a new clean up with CCleaner I tried it again. I put out my cable of the mouse , so maybe this was the problem(ofc, WHY is there a problem with USB and PCI Cards ?). The installations works, no hang up or freezes. After a restart nothing happend. No sound. I looked at the hardware manager(do not know, whether it is the correct word, I'm german and have a german windows ) of windows and at audio, video and gamecontroller, there is a warning of not working driver.
I remember, that on my old system the driver was titled something like
X-FI Audio[800] or something like that.
But here it was named with?
    X-FI Processor WDM
I thing the system is installing the wrong driver.
I looked at some forums , find the hint to change the PCI slot. I did it, but nothing changed.
So, here are some information of my system configuration, maybe someone can help.
Old system(where the soundcard works fine with no problems):
    - Athlon X2 4200+(socket was the "old" 939)
    - Asus A8N-E
    - DDR 400 RAM, 2GB
    - Windows XP Professional(32 Bit) with SP3
    New System:
    - Phenom II X4 80(quadcore)
    - Gigabyte MA790XT-UD4P
    - DDR3 333 RAM , 4GB
    - same OS as used in the old configuration
Ofc all chipdriver were installed and seems to work fine.
The onboard soundchip is disabled too.
    Hope for help ^^

Hi Wogabun and welcome to the community,
Download and install TVSU and run it and see what it comes up with.  You'll need MS Net Framework 1.1 or 2.0 at least for it to run.

  • Geforce have problem with driver

Sorry i cant find any related to Geforce 3 Ti200, so i use Geforce 4 ti as it topic fronties. Currently i am using Geforce Ti200, after i install ur website driver Nvidia VGA Driver 45.32 for Win2000/XP/Server2003, it just very often keep my pc hang at the time, if i no use this driver, i cant play certain game, do u mind tell me what to do? Why this driver caused a lot of problem to my pc? Is it somekind of bug, can u release new driver to fix it?

No MSI employees work in this forum, this is a user to user help forum only.
As far as the drivers for the Ti-200, there were users reporting problems with later drivers in this forum. If you do a search of the VGA forum, I'm sure you'll find the threads related to this issue.
I suggest going here http://ftp://download1.nvidia.com/Windows/ and try that version instead of MSI drivers. You may not be successful however. I suggest using "Driver Cleaner" found here http://www.driverheaven.net follow the directions supplied with the download and found on the website.
If you are not successfull, then you may have to upgrade your video card.

  • Problem with Drive Encryption for HP ProtectTools - Error EE050014

    Hello!
I have a problem with starting up my HP.
I am using a HP Probook 4530s, have had it for approximately 2 years now - this is a new problem that has never occured before.
On startup, after swiping my finger/entering the password at the HP Protecttools screen, I get an error screen titled "Mcafee endpoint encryption" saying "Error 050014 file access error". As far as I'm concerned this is not a Mcafee product although it mentions Mcafee, and I will not receive any help from their support forums. All I can do is press enter, then the cursor is locked in place and nothing but restarting the computer can be done, and then the process repeats.
Before this error occured, I was going through files with an anti-malware program and it is possible I may have deleted something that might have triggered this, however since I cannot access the desktop or anything it is impossible for me to look into that.
I have been desperately looking for a solution for a while now but have come up with nothing solid. Any help is greatly appreciated!
    Regards!

  • LaserJet 2600n Print Quality problem (with a scan showing the problem)

I'm trying to create areas of solid colour in order to use the toner transfer method of making printed circuits.  To do that I need to print really dark solid black blocks - when I try that I see uneven toner in certain areas.  This scan of the output shows the problem:
There are lighter areas (less covered by toner) at the bottom (page orientation wise) of solid black blocks - but only where there is a subsequent block of black below!  For example, the leftmost shape's bottom edge is fine.
I'm perplexed.  I'm very impressed with the configurability of the 2600n, and I get the feeling that there's probably a setting I could tweak to solve this, and I'm hoping that there's a laser printer expert reading this forum who'll have some suggestions.
    Cheers,
    Chris.

It looks to me as if you have your print quality setting in your printer driver set to standard or draft rather than set to best photo. This setting has to be changed in your printer driver which is accessed by the button in the lower left-hand corner of the screen when you are in the print module.

  • Problems with driver for ATI xpress 200

    Hi all,
this morning I saw that there is KDE4 available. Straight away I installed the packages, run it and it crashed. There was a funny graphical effect just before the crash. This gave me the impression that the problems comes from the graphical driver. I tried the proprietary ATI driver which hangs once kdm is launched. Then I tried VESA which doesn't even start for some funny reason. Eventually I turned to the open source ATI drivers. With them I'm running KDE in resolution 1280x768 which is somewhat strange. So far, I haven't found a solution and think I need a help.

What version of Tarantella are you running? The reason I ask, is that
since v3.30 you also need to run

If you are using WINS the problem appears to be one of WINS name mapping.
Check if the Tarantella server is not on the same subnet as the Windows
    Terminal Server that you
are using to run your Windows applications.
You need to add the Tarantella server to each of the Windows Terminal
    Servers as a WINS server.
After that you may need to restart the Windows terminal Server.
    Hope it helps.

  • Problems with Drive Mapping using Oracle Drive

It seems as though we are having some trouble with oracle drive. The install was a piece of cake, as was the configuration. The problem arises when at times we connect with the proper credentials, Oracle Drive logs the user in, but then the appropriate drive does not map. Nothing shows up under "My computer". The window will launch for the user to use Oracle Drive, but they get error messages including, "Cannot support long file names." (AKA, anything longer than 8 characters).
Has anyone else come across these issues? Any ideas how to resolve. The issues we get with the long file names seem to only be when the drive doesn't properly map.
    Any thoughts would be helpful.
Also, I have heard rumors of a Production version of Oracle Drive. Anyone have some news on that?

We are very pleased to announce the Production Release 10.1.2.0 of Oracle Drive.
You can download the software from here:

  • PosGreSQl problem with driver

    Hi all!
I'm trying to change the property datestyle of my db in order to get the timestamp fields in the european format dd/mm/yyyy . The problem is that the jdbc driver gets me this error
The JDBC driver requires DateStyle to begin with ISO for correct operation.
Is it possible to change this property?
    Thanks in advance

    HI,
Did you download and tried the latest MYSQL ODBC driver with a 64 bit description?
Here is the SAP note for you to refer:
1198522 - MySQL DB connection not recognized on a Windows Server 64 bit computer
Language:   English      Version:   1      Validity: 31.03.2008 - active
    Symptom
You install BusinessObjects Enterprise and MySQL on a computer running Windows Server 64bit. When doing a later install of MySQL or MySQL upgrade however, BO doesn't seem to recognize the new connection through even though the installation is running fine
    Cause
The DB connection is not viewable from the ODBC but BusinessObjects still functions correctly.
    Resolution
Under 64bit Windows, there are two ODBC administrators. They are both called "odbcad32". The 32-bit ODBC administrator is located under Windows\SysWoW64 and the 64-bit ODBC Administrator is located under Windows\System32. BusinessObjects will still use the 32-bit connection.
Only the 64-bit ODBC Administrator displays the MySQL driver shipped with BusinessObjects and the Central Management Server (CMS) data sources.
For more information, see Microsoft Knowledge Base article 942976.

    Clint

  • MSI N260GTX Problem with driver or...?

I installed a MSI N260GTX today on an Asus PQ5 P45 mobo. After installing the drivers from the CD provided with the graphic card, my Windows XP went into 4-bit colors. I tried various of other drivers, but the same problem occured.
I am going to try the grap.card. on another system tomorrow, but can you tell if the problem is with a busted G.card, busted mobo or some other issue?

Boot in "Safe Mode" then use Driver Sweeper { http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?det=1655 } to remove current drivers.
Then reboot to normal mode and install latest drivers, depend of your OS version:

    64bit XP ==> http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp64_178.24_whql.html
