HP 4635 wont print on windows 8

have set up a new HP 4635 on windows 8 samsung notebook. Printer shows ready and also progress window shows"printing". But no print
when using my apple notebook all works fine

This has got to be a Mac problem...
I just purchased an HP Officejet 6600 and connected wireless to my network.
I connected my Windows 7 machine wirelessly and prints flawlessly.
I connected 2 of my Mac Book Pro 10.6.8 Snow Leopard machines and although they can connect to the printer, it wont print. It just says printing in the queue and sometimes will say offline after a while.
I have performed software updates on the Mac and have reinstalled the HP software from a fresh download.

Hi,
Make sure to enable Multicasting support within the router, as much as I aware it should be disabled by default and will more likely cause such behavior.
To change the settings logon the router home page.
Click Security from the top menu.
Check the box next to Filter Multicast.
Click Save Settings and reboot the router.
Now check for any change, I believe it should help resolving such an issue.
If you still see any simialr behavior I would recommend you to contact your router service provided and check for any further settings which may affect Multicasting streams within the network.

Look in the print menu (more than likely under "Advanced") and deselect the box that says "Print to file".

HP ENVY 4500 Printer Windows 10 printer wont print

I have a HP ENVY 4500 all in one printer. I did the windows 10 inplace upgrade.Now th printer wont print. I dont think this is a driver issue.I get an error saying the printer is off line. My WIFI is connected and working great.When I look at internet connections in my area My printer shows up on that list,and ask for a security code. I think it asking for a password for the printer.I have never set one up. (FYI) I had been using this printer with Windows 8.1 andIt worked great before the windows 10 upgrade. Do I need to set up a password for this printerTo make it work. By the way This computer is a Dell Insperon about a year and a half old.I need to print Please Help.Thank youEarl

I managed to fix this issue by myself.
After hours of trying everything HP suggested on other forums with no avail I simply turned everything off (including the PC and Printer) and left it for half an hour.
Then I turned the printer on but turned the wireless off. I then tried to print the same document from the PC (which came up with an error saying my printer needed a connection to complete) turned the wireless back on via the printer and it works!
Quite disappointed I seem to be having so many problems with the ENVY after all its recommendations, hopefully the issue will not return.

HP 1300 wont print from Remote Desktop applications

I have an HP 1300n attached via USB to a windows 7 computer. I log onto a clien'ts windows 2003 server using remote desktop application. I have installed the driver to HP 1300 PCL 5 on the remote server and of course it's installed on the windows 7 machine. I can see the HP via port TSXxx on the remote server but when printing, nothing happens. The document is sent to the "printer" but doesnt print in my office. I've tried many solutions and nothing so far works. I have 3 other windows 7 computers and 3 others HP 1300 and all are experiencing the same thing.

HP Photosmart c4580 not printing with windows 8.1 32 bit

since upgrading from windows xp to windows 8 and now 8.1 pro my C4580 wont print from word 2007 or direct from pc. the scanner works but no printing. its installed as the default printer and everything knows its there but alas not working. please advise or fix thx.

HP LJ1006 wont print on RDP 2012

Dear All,
We have a a NEW Terminal server in MS Azure Running Server 2012 R2 and the client is Windows 8.1 (Fully updated).
The client has a HP LJ1006 attached to it through USB cable and we would like to redirect athe printing on the application running in the remote server to the local printer ( HP LJ 1006 )
The printer is connected and configured properly and the user is able to print everything from the client ( local application ) without any issues. The application in the remote server is able to print file to the locally attached network Printer ( IP Based ) but the prints from the remote server to the locally attached ( USB attached HP LJ 1006 ) is not printing.
Its showing a " failed to print " error. the spooler services in the local machine and remote machine are working fine.
Can anyone please help out with this.
Note: this is a fresh installation of the remote server

Cp 1215 wont print on win XP

hello there My HP model CP 1215 wont print on my laptop
the laptop is a gigabyte and has windows XP installed
It works well with all my other HP printers
I see from forums that this is a common problem with this model.
do you have a driver update which addresses this problem
or should I instal a fredno driver

but it has the drop down tray for it and the softwere for it ?

Spooler app problem wont print how do i fix? was printing fine now it won't

i'm hoping someone can help me. my printer was working fine hp laserjet 1018, and now it wont print at all. i have uninstalled and reinstalled driver bust the prompt says spooler subsysytem app stopped working and was closed, the local print spooler service is not running. what do i do to fix this? please help.....

I want to be able to help you but I will have to provide two documents because I do not know what kind of computer you are using. It seems that your Print Spooler is simply turned off and you need to get it running again. If you have an older computer, here is a document directly related to your printer:

I have a really good feeling you are using a Windows 7 operating system. This link is not a document but it has great instructions on "How To Restart Your Print Spooler Services."
I am happy to help and anxious to hear if this fixes the problem for you. If it does not, then what is the operating system of your computer (Windows XP Service Pack 2, Windows 7 32 bit, etc) and how is the printer connected to the computer (USB or on a network)?

Wont install on WIndows

Wont install on WIndows, what ever package I create with CC Acrobat Pro just doesn't install. Everything else works but not Acrobat Pro. It runs the installer, but nothing get installed. 32 & 64 bit versions of windows.
The stand alone Pro download works, but only if I'm an Admin, then I have to run the updates before I can register. I can't register unless I run the updates.

I understand that you tried to install the printer on Windows 8 and were having issues. I suggest that you do an Uninstall of the Printer Software and then a Install of the Printer Software. Use the Printer Install Wizard to do the install as it will go and look for the correct driver for you.

Unable to Print in Windows with Vmware Fusion HP LaserJet 1006

Prints fine on the Mac with 10.6.1 and HP driver updates.
Printer worked flawlessly with Leopard 10.5.8
Will not print in windows. Open the print queue and it says it is printing (it isn't), sometimes the message is that it is waiting for the printer to become available, (printer is available).
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The print job gets sent to the printer, but it wont print. It says waiting for printer to become available. When this happens I am also unable to print from the Mac side and have to restart the computer to be able to print from the MacBook. Simply turning off the printer and then turning it on doesn't help.

Im running on a Windows Visa Home Premium OS, looks like Service Pack 2, and have not made any system changes to my laptop or upgraded anything recently.
Was able to print fine from my laptop on Monday, but 3 days later Im getting this error message: ""the job failed to print due to an error in the printing system" when trying to print a standard MS Word doc.
I can still get the printer to print fine by using the control panel on the unit itself and requesting to "Run a Wireless Network Test" and also when I've requested a "Print Status Report", "Print Quality Report", etc. But when sending files from the laptop it refuses to work.
If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know - desperate to get this thing back up online but unfortunately Im a tech idiot and havent been able to solve it yet, though Ive searched for hours now it seems.

My printer wont print because I can't find the right password on (re)set-up. What should I do?

I am not sure I understand, what password are you looking for? Is the printer still on the wireless network? Perhaps the following document will be helpful; 'Printer is offline' Message Displays on the Computer and the HP Printer Will Not Print.
