HP 6310 WILL NOT PRINT COLOR PICTURES

MY 6310 ALL-IN-ONE PRINTER WILL ONLY PRINT BLACK AND WHITE PICTURES WHEN COMMANDED FROM MY HP DESKTOP {VISTA}. THE SAME PRINTER WILL PRINT COLOR IMAGES WHEN COMMANDED FROM MY HP LAPTOP {WINDOWS 7}. A COMPARASION OF THE PRINTER PREFERENCES FOR BOTH COMPUTERS ARE IDENTICAL. THE LAPTOP IS CONNECTED WIRELESSLY WHILE DESKTOP HAS A USB CONNECTION TO THE ROUTER.

CS3 will not print color pictures

Photo Shop will not print color pictures. It printed fine for over a year then just quit printing in color a few months ago. A work around was given by our Higher head Quarters but when printing this way the pictures do not print properly and the pictures can't be adjusted or modified any.
Machines having this problem are running Windows XP.
What are the proper setting for this program?
Do I need a software update?

Check the updater and make sure you installed the updates for Photoshop CS3.
But most likely this is a configuration issue with your printer driver.
Many drivers do have settings that force black and white printing, overriding what the application sends to the driver.

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums and Welcome. Thank you for the detailed message, tells me where to look for a solution for you. I have looked into your issue with the HP Officejet 6500 E709 Printer and not able to print in color with your Mac.
Here is a document that will show you how to change your Print settings on the Mac. Go to the section Solution four: Check the print settings. Then select the Mac. The Quality should be Normal or Best.

Hp 5440 will not print color

My son sent me his hp 5440 inkjet printer. I have windows xp. I downloaded the drivers from HP and installed on my computer, but the printer will not print color. I have checked and made sure that grayscale in unchecked in the printer properties. Ink levels show about 3/4 for the black and about 2/3 for the tri-color. Any advice on what is wrong and how to fix it.. Any help is greatly appreciated...

Cartridge Out Override can be enabled from the Control Panel menu of the HP Color LaserJet CM2320 Printer, as follows:
1. Press OK to open the menus.
2. Press the left arrow ( < or right arrow ( > ) button to navigate to System Setup , and then press OK .
3. Press the left arrow ( < ) or right arrow > ) button to navigate to Print Quality , and then press OK .
4. Press the left arrow ( < )or right arrow ( > button to navigate to Replace Supplies sub-menu, and then press OK .
5. Press the left arrow ( < or right arrow ( > button to navigate to Override at Out option, and then press OK to enable the Override feature or select Stop at out to disable the Override feature.
6. Press X to exit the menus.
If Stop at out is selected, the printer will stop printing when a cartridge reaches the recommended replacement point. If Override out is selected, the printer will continue printing when a cartridge reaches the recommended replacement point. The factory default setting is Stop at out .

Pages 5.1 - Kodak Printer will not print color

Anyone having problems printing color after Pages 5.1? I have a Kodak ESP 7250 and the printer option is strikes through and I can not print color. Printer works fine with older version of Pages on macbook.

HP C309a Alignment Fails and Will Not Print Color

Hello,
My C309a has had very light (infrequent) usage. It simply will not pass alignment or print in color. Could these two problems be related? I do like this printer as it does print on printable CDs/DVDs and as far as I know there are no AIOs on the market that do this. Would anyone please help?

new or old 564/564XL should all work on older printers (printheads) made before September 2010. Maybe the printhead is for newer models? and the new cartridges have an older date? Anyway, check the date on the cartridges, if the date is later than 9/2010, they should work, and I would suggest you return the printhead if no color is printed. If the dates on the cartridges are older than 9/2010, maybe the printhead is for newer model, I would try get newer cartridges or have them replace with the correct printhead.

HP Envy 5660 Will Not Print in Color from Desktop

I have a new Envy 5660 e all in one printer. Prints in color from my I phone and I pad but will only print in black from desktop running OSX 10.6.8. No error messages just will not print color from my Mac.

I see you're having issues printing color. I would like to try and assist.
Due to system limitations, the printer requires a minimum of 10.7 to be installed. You can, however, download and install the Mac print software relating to HP. This should allow you to have functionality:
HP Printer Drivers v3.0 for OS X

Hp all in one 6480 Will print text but will not print pictues

I can not determine why the printer will not print a picture but will print documents. It comes back paper jam but there is no paper jam.

Nobody? This has to be a simple fix, but I can't figure it out!

HP Photosmart 7525 not printing color correctly

HP Photosmart 7525 will not print color from any application.
Operating system: Windows 7 Home Premium.
Grayscale is not on.
Tried printing with discolored background correction
Tried each of the color management options separately from discolored background correction and combined with it.
Replaced the ink, and the result was worse!
The quality report shows no color ink whatsoever, and from the display, it looks like the printer believes it has no color ink left.

Attempted to clean cartridges and align the printer through the display pad: no luck.

OJ Pro 8625 will not print in color only shades of gray

Printer was purchased two days ago. The printer will not print in color only black and shades of gray. alignment test on 2/28/15 showed color. cartridges show full.

Welcome to the HP Community
I saw your post about how you cannot print in color, and I would like to refer you to try the steps I previously recommended in another thread. The printer itself prints in color, therefor there is most likely settings on your Mac that need to be changed.

You should be able to print in color after those steps!

MY printer will not print in color

My laptop and printer are only printing in black and white will not print in color. I have tried printing with a different laptop and it printed the pictures in color.

Welcome to the Community!
I read your post about one of your computers will only print black and white, and not in color. I am writing you back to make my suggestion to you.
I would suggest trying these steps to hopefully get the color printing again: Fixing Print Quality Problems for the HP Deskjet 3050A (J611) All-in-One Printer Series
If everything appears to work fine from that guide, and you still cannot print in color, try running the Print and Scan Doctor. This diagnostic tool will check for any conflicts that could be causing the issue. The tool will show you a report at the end. If there was a problem that the tool could not fix, you will notice it in the results.
Please keep me posted with your results and I will help out some more if needed!

Laser Jet Pro CM1415fnw color will not print from eprint

Laser Jet Pro CM1415fnw color printer will print from laptop but not from email. Signal on printer has strong internet connection and so does computer. I tried to send a pic with my phone but it did not print.

I will need a little more info in order to help out. If you send the printer an ePrint of a text document, will it print that plan document? Also, if the picture that you are sending is less than 100 DPI (dot per inch) the printer will not print that because of the quality. You can send the picture to the computer, open it and the right click on it and look under “properties” and it will give you the DPI information. It is labeled vertical and horizontal resolution. Lastly, what type of phone do you have? What email client are you using to send the picture to the printer?
