HP 6500n asking for proxy service everytime i enable Webservices

I have configured my HP 6500+ for network and i can print from my computer onto this printer without any issues using the network connection.
I have been trying to enable the webservices but it always keeps on asking me for proxy. I am in a home network with no proxy enabled. I can browse my internet with no issues.
Anybody have any idea how can i resolve this issue. I have rebooted the printer,  tried resetting the printer back to defaults, have done semireset ... but no help

If the steps given in the above post does not work, try these:
1) First contact your ISP and get the DNS IP address details
2) Print HP Network Configuration Page from the printer menu (Setup ==> Network ) and make note of printer IP.
3) Open Internet Explorer browser and type the printer IP in the address bar and press Enter key.
4) click on Network tab and click on Wired/Wireless. If printer is connected in Wireless, click on Wireless
5) Goto Advance configuration tab
6) Select Manual IP and enter the details. Same as it as from HP Network Configuration Page
7) Select Manual DNS and enter the details which ur ISP provided
8) Click Apply and save the settings and waitfor 2 min.
9) Turn OFF and turn ON the printer
10) Enable the WebServices

I would appreciate your help on how to configure a gmail in a way  it  ask  for the password  everytime I connect?. Thank

The iPad is designed to be a single user device, and there is currently no way to password protect the Mail app - even removing the account password from Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars will just prevent new mail being downloaded, it won't hide those that have already been downloaded. There is this work-around for the app : https://discussions.apple.com/message/13127632#13127632 . Also there might be third-party email apps that feature password protecting.

  • Proxy Service giving "Cannot Compute Effective WSDL for: Proxy Service"

    Hi,
After updating the wsdl and schema, our proxy service is complaining with error : "Cannot Compute Effective WSDL for: Proxy Service " <ProxyService_Location_Name> when I launch a test console or access the Proxy Endpoint on IE.
Proxy and Business Services are pointing to the same WSDL. From Business Service, I am able to launch the test console. . Before updating the wsdl and schema, it was working fine. We tried to check in JDeveloper to see whether there are any issues with WSDL or Schema, but they are working fine.
Security Settings on Proxy Service are : Basic Authentication, User-Name Token Policy and also applied Transport Access Control. Security worked fine earlier before update.
    From log file :

Any suggestions/ideas on why this error is happening is much appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Srithi

There must be definitely some issue in the Policy Configuration, due to which it is not able to Compute Effective WSDL.
Can you please do the following and capture the logs:
    - set the transports debug flag to true in the alsbdebug.xml in your domain directory :
    <java:alsb-transports-debug>true</java:alsb-transports-debug>
    <java:alsb-service-security-manager-debug>true</java:alsb-service-security-manager-debug>
    <java:alsb-service-validation-debug>true</java:alsb-service-validation-debug>
    <java:alsb-wspolicy-repository-debug>true</java:alsb-wspolicy-repository-debug>
    - set the WLS log level to debug
    - Then restart the servers
This should give some additional details on the specific error.

  • Mainstage asks for serial number everytime I start the program :(

I just upgraded my laptop to one of the new i7 macbok pro and installed logic pro 9 on it. Now Mainstage asks for my serial number 95% of the time I start up the program. Logic works fine and does not display this behavior. For one day I started logic first then used Mainstage and it didn't ask for the serial. I thought it was fixed but today it asks for my serial everytime I open up Mainstage 2.1.1 One of the times it asked for me to register with Apple and send them my info. I have already done this yet I turned on airport to send it again. This did not help.
Why does it continue to need the serial number everytime I start up.
Why the erratic behavior conserning this issue?
I only have logic pro 9 installed, Soundtoys plug-ins, and Melodyne. This laptop is to be an audio only machine for stability. That's why I want airport off. Could that be causing the problem? It ***** I'm having problems even on a stripped down, no internet, brand new top of the line Macbook pro.
Extremely frustrating after spending my life savings on one of these laptops
Any help would be extremely appreciated!!
    Todd

This is still a problem. I thought it was solved before but it came back. After contacting Apple support and spending hours spanning multiple days they realized this is a bug. Here is the current reply from tech support:
Hello Todd, I'm afraid you will not be notified
directly if/when the serialization issue is resolved.
Regarding troubleshooting your system, you could
keep the Activity Monitor up and running when you
are using MainStage, set to show All Processes,
and see if you notice any spike in CPU usage of
one of the process that corresponds with when a
    spike occurs in MainStage.
    Sincerely,
    David Paulson
    Apple Inc.
So according to apple they MAY fix this bug. "IF" it gets fixed. I spent top dollar for the latest macbook pro i7, and I purchased my own copy of Logic pro. I find this heartless reply to me, the customer very saddening. Randomly Mainstage and Logic will continually ask for me to enter my serial number and maybe one day there will be a fix or it could be an indefinite issue? ....and that's it case closed?
I am one very very unhappy apple customer. If you are planning on purchasing a top of the line macbook pro to use Mainstage problem free in a live concert setting then you could be in for extreme frustration with a large dose of buyer's remorse:(

  • CS6 installation asking for proxy password

I am upgrading one of our school PC's from CS3 to CS6.
Everything is downloaded and the installer has begun.
It asks me now to provide a proxy server username and password.
We do use a proxy at school for internet access and this uses NTLM authentication to track the staff and students sites visited by their active directory credentials.
There is no other proxy server username or password...
What should I enter as it won't let me carry on without entering something...

    Update:
Logged on to the PC locally as administrator with no proxy set in IE.
This time I was not asked for proxy username or password....
At the options screen now and the following are not able to be selected:
    Adobe After Effects
    Adobe Encore
    Adobe Premiere Pro
    Adobe SpeedGrade
They all say : "OS Requirement not met, 64bit OS recommended"
    Is there anyway round this?
We don't run 64 bit OS at the school.
Will creating the deployment package with AAMEE 3.0 allow me to create a deployment that will work for these pacakges on 32 bit OS'es

  • HTTP Basic authentication for proxy service and its wsdl?

    Hello:
For some reasons I needed to configure the HTTP basic authentication on a proxy service at OSB 11g. Everything was OK until I realized that, additionally to the authentication when calling the service, the OSB also asks for credentials when I try to get that proxy wsdl file.
My requirements are to secure the proxy service when is called only, not when retrieving the wsdl.
Is this possible to configure on OSB / WLS? How?
    Greetings!

If I'm not wrong, Basic authentication is Transport level feature. So passing User/Password in SOAPHeader doesn't make sense. SOAP message can only be sent when you have a HTTP Connection open. During opening of HTTP connection User/Password is required for basic authentication.

  • Reset the HTTP response code in OSB for proxy service

    Hi,
I created a HTTP proxy service in ALSB with any XML message option. There are some business scnearios for which i need to send a custom error message in the HTTP body. I am replacing the $body variable with the error message and sending reply with success. As i am using reply with success it sends a HTTP response status code as 200 Ok.
However based on different error conditions i want to send appropraite http response code. How can this be achieved?

I would like to share the solution so that it would be useful to all the users of the forum.
There is a http:http-response-code element in the $inbound variable which is optional element. You need to insert this element to the $inbound using the insert action. Here is the extract of the code:
Insert [<http:http-response-code>401</http:http-response-code>] [ as last child of ] [./con:transport/con:response] in [inbound]
Please note namespace con belongs to "http://www.bea.com/wli/sb/context".

  • Audigy 4 asking for XP Service Pack 2 CD, no such th

When installing Audigy 4, the software asks to put in the Windows XP Service Pack 2 CD. Of course there is no such CD as this PC came with Service Pack and was on line updated to Service Pack 2. The installation won't complete and continues to reinstall.
The actual message is "Some files on Windows XP Professional Service pack 2 CD are needed". This is very disappointing.

  • Which service type to use for Proxy Service

I have a question regarding a Proxy service.
I have a need for a local (transport local) Proxy service which is called by another proxy service.
It is a synchronous service which has an XML incoming message and an XML outgoing message.
    I have the following questions:
    - Does it make a difference in performance when I choose a WSDL webservice or a Messaging service?
    - Which one would you choose and why?
    Thanx

Does it make a difference in performance when I choose a WSDL webservice or a Messaging service?Hardly there would be any difference.
Which one would you choose and why?I would choose XML type messaging type proxy because input and output are XML messages. I won't choose WSDL web-service because it should be used in case of SOAP packagaing only (in web-service context, to enable SOAP and WS support) to mock a web-service which has a WSDL (and a XSD) associated with it.

You may want to ask in the forum for the MacOS X version you are using. Mail is part of MacOS X.  So ask in the Yosemite forum, Mavericks forum, etc.
Have you read the Help page in Mail  "If Mail keeps asking for your password"?  It may be a problem with your key chain, or a problem with your mail account on the provider's site.
If you entered the correct password in the password dialog in Mail, but continue to be asked for your password, try these suggestions.
In Keychain Access, locate and delete the email account password item.Open Keychain Access for me
In Disk Utility, select the volume (for your hard disk or disks) in the list, click First Aid, then Verify Disk. After you’ve verified (and repaired, if necessary) the disk, try sending yourself a message. Open Disk Utility for me

  • Virtual XP Mode Asks for Password after "Could not enable Integration features

With Win7 64 bit professional as the main OS I installed the VM XP Mode several years ago and occasionally when XP is booting up, it asks for a password for the username XPM User. I have never setup passwords for Win 7 or for XP so that the PC simply boots
up into first the Win 7 and then I can choose to boot straight into XP if I wish. On the occasions that XP asks for a password, I have simply closed down and rebooted successfully. Over the past two days I have received a dialog box telling me that the integration
features could not be enabled and on closing that dialog box, I am being asked for a password - which does not exist! As a result, I cannot access the personal finance application that I 've been using for the past 15 years. This is the only application I
run on XP and is the reason the virtual machine is in use.
I read through the existing posts on "could not enable integration features" and none seem to offer much of a solution to me. There is no .vsv file.
How do I access the files that are stored for use with XP?
How can I create a password that XP will accept?

    Hi,
When finding the .vsv file, have you unchecked the show hidden files option? Go Control Panel | Folder Options | View and uncheck the option to "hide extensions of known file types" and also enable showing hidden files and folders.  The file type is
Virtual Machine Saved State. If it exists, please delete it and restart the XPmode.
Regarding the password issue, have you checked those two threads?
the integration features could not be enabled
Removed XP Mode password in Windows 7 and now cant login
The suggestions is to enter safe mode and make a password reset OR reinstall the intergration features. Please take a check with more suggestions offerred by the folks here.
If the above is not working, then we may consider to backup important files with XPM VHD file via Disk management, and then reinstall Windows XP mode.
