HP 7500A doesn't display Print went asked to print

I have a Officejet 7500A printer which has worked beautifully until recently.  I am using Windows 7 and 32-bit.  I recently changed out my Linkysis router for a COMCAST issued router/modem.  I got the printer up on the wireless network without a problem.  The network does see the printer.  However, when I am in email (outlook or gmail) and ask the email to <print> the message, it comes up with <save> instead of <print>.  I can save the email in documents and then print it out of documents as a PDF file.  I can print out of Office.  I just want to be able to print directly without having to save the file.  Any ideas?

What Browser are you opening your Outlook and/or Gmail in? I know that with Google Chrome for example, it may be defaulting to the last used printer. Although it is the same printer, the one seen maybe from the previous connection. You may need to click on the printer that is selected and re-select your printer to establish the connection between the Browser and your printer.
Since you can print from other program I am certain the issue is some how related to the program you are using. If it is not Google Chrome, or if you try my recommendation and the issue persists, let me know what program you are using and I will help you work through this. Thanks.

    I am using a MacBook Air. My professional Outlook never displays print screens images sent from time to time by other colleagues (they all use PC's with Windows OS), i instead have a little blue question mark icon.
    Do i need to download a specific plugin to display those print screens? Could someone help me out with this please?

    Yes, I have added the Page to the Workset, and also the IView to the Page.
    If I set up a temporary workset, And assign the 2 objects to it (the IView and the Page), they appear as links at the top of my Portal. When I click the link assigned to the IView, the Inbox is shown. When I click the link assigned to the Page, it only shows a blank window instead of the Inbox.

    When i click on "Display/print" button under my expense report ( Employee --> Travel & expenses --> Manage Expenses (TERA) --> My trip reports), it opens up a new window with the error message "SOAP Framework error: SOAP Runtime Exception: CSoapExceptionTransport : HTTP send failed with exception communication_failure(100,101)."
    This behaviour is noticed in the new upgraded system NW 701 SP7 (portal) and backend ECC 6.0 EHP4; However it works perfectly fine with our non-upgraded system NW 70 SP10 (portal) and backend ECC 6.0.
    When i ran the trace on this functionality, i could notice that in the non-upgraded system, after pulling all the values, it calls the RFC function module "PTRM_WEB_FORM_HTML_GET"; however the upgraded system calls "PTRM_WEB_FORM_PDF_GET".
    For the "PTRM_WEB_FORM_PDF_GET", I believe we need to configure the "ADS" rfc pointing to the ADS service on a j2ee server which am not planning for.
    MY QUESTION IS:-
    IS THERE ANY OPTION TO CHANGE THE FORM BEING CALLED FROM "PTRM_WEB_FORM_PDF_GET" TO "PTRM_WEB_FORM_HTML_GET" WHICH I BELIEVE WILL RESOLVE THE PROBLEM AM FACING?

    Read the steps on note 1032311 on how to achieve it,
    In Web Dynpro, the Parameter for Formula is Defaulted to PDF file. If
    you don't want to use the ADOBE Form in ESS, you have to follow 2 steps:
    Solution
        o  Check the Homepage framework configuration.
      In IMG (transaction SIMGH) go in Travel Management->Employee Self
    Service->Homepages Framework->Ressources
    Delete the URL parameter "sap.xss.tra.UsePdf=true" of the ressource
    "EMPLOYEE_TRAVEL_TRIPFORM_SRV05".
      Check that the field URL for PCD file is filled with
    ROLES://portal_content/com.sap.pct/every_user/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.bp_fol
    der/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.roles/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.employee_self_service/
    com.sap.pct.erp.ess.employee_self_service/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.area_trave

      Normally if it is not filled in your client, the system should use the
    one from client 000, that is the SAP delivered customizing.

      Right Click on Display Trip Form and Select Object->Open
      In the field Application Parameters, you will find a parameter

    When this configuration is done, the PDF form is desactivated and the
    HTML form is used.
    This is the issue with ADOBE set up
    Firstly, I would ask you to check the customizing steps from 944221
    to ensure no issue with the ADS configuration for the pdf form.

    platform validity and version.

  • FCP X doesn't display iMovie clips correctly in Event Library

    I have 10 years of clips that are setup by year/date in iMovie. Although I had imported most of the media in 2009, iMovie seems smart enough to read the actual file metadata and find the media recording date, which is prior to the import date. As a result, the clips are diplayed correctly in iMovie Event by Year/Month of actual recording.
    However, the Event Library in FCP X doesn't do that at all and lists the events by "Content Creation" date, which is simply reads from the system file date, and NOT the recording date that is embedded into the file.
    Bottom line is that Event Library is semi-useless as it doesn't all at display my clisp in the correct order, unlike iMovie that was doing it correctly.
    Any ideas?

    I went into Finder and discovered that FCP X created a directory structure where the files are in the correct Year/Month directory structure (as an exact mirror directory structure as the iMovie one), so it's even more weird that the Event Library doesn't display the events correctly???

  • I upgraded to Mountain Lion and now Firefox doesn't work, also it asked to install Java to run Adobe Illustrator

    I just upgraded my iMac from OS 10.7.5 to 10.8.3. Firefox was my default browser and has all my bookmarks. Now when I try to load a page, the content is all jumbled and doesn't display correctly. I just updated Firefox to 20.0 but it still doesn't work right.
    Also, the first time after upgrading, Adobe Illustrator wouldn't start unless I installed Java. Isn't that the program that should be disabled because of security issues? Or has that been resolved?

    I think I figured out Firefox, I went under Help > Troubleshooting Information > Reset Firefox.
    I only have one account on my computer. Honestly I don't even really know how multiple accounts work. I've never played around with it. I already allowed Java - should I disable it?

  • Pie Chart doesn't display all columns

    I set up a simply table and made a bar chart = everything worked out well.
    I selected my table again and clicked on 'make pie chart' but this time it doesn't display all the colums. I really don't know what went wrong here.
    I'd appreciate it very much if some could help me out here.

    Even though you have selected the entire table to be charted as a Pie Chart, and the table includes three data series, a Pie Chart can only display one series at a time, so it displays the first one; "3. Klasse"
    In "3. Klasse", the values of Schaukel and Drehscheibe are zero, so there is no pie to display.
    Hope this explains the situation for you. To make Pie Charts for the other two series, you would again select the header cells, then hold down the Command key while selecting the other series. Then add another chart. Do this for each series you wish to chart.

      I have designed report using CrystalActiveXReportViewer in VBA. This report display data in "Cross Tab" format. Currently for one user this report doesn't display column header and row header in Cross Tab, but display all other data in cross tab. This problem started suddenly (last few days) and it is inconsistent , doesn't happen all the time.
    All other it work's fine and they all are printing on same printer.
    Is there any work around/troubleshoot for this issue?

    Hi ppl.. My site doesn't display correctly in IE 6. (It works fine with IE 7 and 8 and Firefox) I can see through the area which is supposed to be white ( in other words, I see the background which I put in my body tag). I'm guessing that this happens because the overflow portion of my main content area is set to hidden. Is there anything I can change to rectify this?  Below is my url.     I often see white turning up as transparent, though mostly in transparent gifs. My ploy in that case is to use a slightly off-white, usually #FFFFFE or some such. I don't know if that will ease your pain, though.

    No, that is the problem.  I don't see how it should be, but that is what happened after I did the upgrade, which was for iPhoto 9.2.  The upgrade then required that the Library be upgraded.  Then CS2 stopped showing the photo when I opened CS2.  Maybe there was a system upgrade for the whole system, that went along with 9.2.  Before the upgrade CS2 worked.  I even tried photos that I had on backup disks, and they wouldn't show in CS2 even though I had draged them to the PS icon in the dock.  These photos were not on my computer when the Library was upgraded.  I even tried photos fresh from the camera. Elements 9 does work to open the photos.

    Iam new to wlst scripting and concepts of nodemanager. My aim is to start the server using nodemanager through wlst.
    First i invoked the wlst.sh shell script
    then i started the nodemanager by using startNodeManager command
    Then i tried to connect to nodemanager through nmconnect
    Now if i type the command nm() it displays the following
    Currently connected to Node Manager to monitor the domain {0}.
    It doesn't display my domain name , instead displays {0}. I guess because of the domain name not set properly , i am not able to view the status of the admin server. For this iam using the command nmserverstatus("AdminServer") , it displays the status as UNKNOWN.
    Can you please let me know what is that iam missing.

    I wonder why is that Safari doesn't display Cyrillic domain name with .укр TLD correctly, that is official Ukrainian Cyrillic TLD.
    For example, if you visit the official website of the President of Ukraine, by typing: президент.укр in your Safari web-browser address bar instead you will see this: xn--d1abbgf6aiiy.xn--j1amh
    On the other hand, if you visit the official website of the Russian president by typing the Cyrillic domain name with .рф TLD: президент.рф, it will be displayed correctly in Safari address bar.
    For me it sounds as some form of discrimination, and I think it should be corrected ASAP.
    Is there any solution to this?
    This is an issue on all Safari web-browsers running on latest iOS of iPhones, iPads and iPods.

  • SWF doesn't display once imported to LMS

    We're in the process of setting up TrainingPartner LMS, and
    I'm trying to get a SCORM quiz working. I can publish everything
    and upload to our (separate) content server, and if I visit that
    URL, the quiz works fine. However, if I add that quiz URL to the
    LMS, the html page loads, but the flash quiz doesn't display. In
    addition, if I close that window, the quiz is marked as complete,
    with a score of 100%. Both are undesirable behaviors :)
    I'm trying to determine if this is a Captivate problem, or an
    LMS problem - I'm leaning towards it being Captivate, since the
    html page loads, just not the .swf. Any suggestions?

    Actually, if the quiz works fine directly from the content
    server, then it's likely an LMS issue.
    Have you tried loading other HTML files with embedded Flash
    movies from your content server into the LMS or is this the first
    time it's been done?
    I wonder if it's not a cross-domain security issue that's
    preventing the Flash Player from loading the movie. If so, you'll
    probably want to ask Google how to create a crossdomain.xml file.
    This file goes on your LMS server root and determines which other
    servers are "safe" to load content from.
    That said, maybe the crossdomain.xml file goes on the root of
    your content server. I forget which goes where, but crossdomain.xml
    is definitely the right name at least.

    I think you wanted to say 10.6.8. 10.8.6 does not exist.
    The first thing I think is that zoom may be enabled. On Mac OS X 10.6.8, a way to disable it is to hold the Control key and scroll down with the mouse or trackpad until you can see the whole display. Another way would be to disable zoom in System Preferences > Universal Access
