HP 7510 cannot print UK Royal Mail postage from Web!

Hello,
Need some help here.
I have some postage from the UK Royal Mail website ready to print. So I'm clicking PRINT while a Safari window is open.
Done it a million times before on other printers and a dozen times on this HP 7510 without any trouble. But now it suddently doesn't work.
The printer just spits out a blank sheet instead.
I've tried resizing and using the smaller print tray. You can't create a PDF of the postage because it too comes out blank (presumably a security measure by the Royal Mail). Nor can you turn it into another file or format. Basically, you just have to print it straight from the Web.
Any suggestions on how to fix this or why it's happening?

Cannot print PDF with selectable text from Chrome

Hi All
Fairly recently (since the last chrome update?) I cannot select text in my PDFs printed from Chrome (on my windows 7 machine).
Previously, I had discovered the workaround (print using printer dialog) that is outlined here Google Chrome | Cannot select text in PDF but that solution no longer works, however. Now, even if I follow that method, zooming in shows that the text has been converted to outline and the text cannot be selected OR searched for within windows.
Doing the same print from Internet Explorer yields the expected result - selectable, searchable text.
This may well be a Chrome issue... but considering it makes the above workaround invalid I figured it should be reported. Perhaps Adobe has a big enough voice to get Googles attention.
It's such a massive pain - all PDFs I've created in the last couple of weeks are useless.

Agreed.. it is raised there also (Google Groups)... although there are multiple posts on the matter being ignored so I'm not overly optimistic.
I just figured if Adobe cared enough above the issue to write that (now incorrect) help page Google Chrome | Cannot select text in PDF then they (and others) may care to know that particular solution is no longer working.
The only thing that seems to work is Google's own "Save as PDF"... which seems to support your point, unfortunately.

I found some resources that I think might help with the issue you are experiencing when trying to print from your iPad.
First, I recommend following these steps:
If you are unable to print, or if you see the message "No AirPrint Printers Found"
Verify that the printer:
Has power and is turned on. If it has power, turn the printer off and then on again to see if that resolves the issue.
Is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the iOS device.
Has the latest firmware version installed.
Has paper with enough ink or toner installed.
Is free of any errors displayed on the printer's control panel.

If you are still having trouble printing after following those steps, I recommend following these steps:
Wi-Fi disconnects, or signal strength is less than expected
Move closer to the Wi-Fi router (access point).
Check for sources of potential interference.
Remove any case, stand, or other accessories from your iOS device and see if signal strength improves.
Reset network settings by tapping Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
Note: This will reset all network settings including: previously connected Wi-Fi networks and passwords, recently used Bluetooth accessories, VPN and APN settings.

Cannot print more than one copy from Win2000 to USB printer on a G5

Hi,
I have set up shared printing so that a Windows 2000 PC can print directly to my Canon S600 on the USB port of the G5, however, we cannot get it to print more than one copy of a document at a time, i.e. you tell Word to print five copies but only one comes out.
I tried changing the printer driver to the Canon S600 (from an installer CD), but we couldn't get it to print at all.
Then tried the HP Laserjet driver and Apple Colour Laserwriter driver. Both these work but we still only get one print out at a time.
Is it a case of going through all the printer drivers until one works, or is it a limitation of printing over a wireless network to a USB printer?

As I recall, there is a setting in Windows that determines whether it is the printer, or Windows itself, that generates the multiple copies. You need to have Windows generate each copy.

TS3988 Cannot unlink old e-mail account from iCloud

I am trying to update my iCloud e-mail address to reflect my new e-mail, however there is no way on my iPad to do this -- it refuses to take my old password and even though I have reset my password with Apple AND provided both my old and new e-mail addresses and entered all of the correct verification questions it persists in asking me for the password for my old e-mail account. This is an AMAZINGLY FRUSTRATING process Apple has set it -- it has virtually no comparison to any other security system online -- my bank, my brokerage account, my access to my health records are ALL SIGNIFICANTLY EASIER TO ACCESS and to manage security for. You guys HAVE to make this easier and more intuitive. It's 100% a broken system right now -- what's the point of having verification questions and asking for both old and new e-mail accounts if this does NOTHING but put you back in the same inescapable loop? For the amount of money you guys make off your devices and digital sales you'd think you could hire someone to solve issues like this gracefully. PLEASE help resolve this. I am highly technically literate...I cannot imagine what it might be like for your users who are less so.

This is the forum where you do not address apple, but help is provided by users like you. Surprise, I know.
Go back to appleid site and change your new apple id back to old one for one minute. That will trick Apple server into thinking that old id exists, allowing just enough time to delete account. Change it back when done and verify.

[SOLVED]Cannot print to PDF files neither from Chromium nor from Firef

When I open the print dialog and select "Print to file" to print to a PDF file, it works from applications such as gedit, evince, LibreOffice (this one uses a different print dialog, but works anyway), etc. but it is not working when using it from Chromium or from Firefox. Printing to a standard printer from these browsers works.
When I launch chromium from the terminal and try printing to a PDF file, it outputs this error message in the console:
[2229:2229:0618/092520:ERROR:print_dialog_gtk.cc(406)] Printing failed: Operation not supported
When I repeat the process from Firefox, no error message is printed in the console.
Printing to files was working until recently, I suppose an update broke it. I have Arch installed in 3 different computers (one i686, one x64 and one arm7h), and it is broken in the 3 of them. I'm using XFCE4, and both ghostscript and a2ps are installed.
Is this a known bug? Can it be solved/workarounded?

Cannot print or save PDF files from internet

I can no longer save PDF from the web. Error messeage shows The document “doc.pdf” could not be exported as “doc.pdf”. Nor can I print a pdf from the internet, instead it prints blank pages. It used to work fine. I know that this is not a problem with the documents I am downloading because I have no problem saving and printing the same files from a Dell computer.

Cannot print to Adobe Acrobat X from any other program

I recently installed Acrobat X on my Windows XP3 system. Previously, the Adobe Printer installed by the Acrobat 8 was accessible from any other program. I simply chose the Adobe PDF printer and the documents "printed" to Acrobat. With the Acrobat X install, this no longer works.
I've tried repairing the Acrobat X - no luck
I've tried deleting the Adobe PDF printer and then allowing Acrobat to re-install the printer during the repair - no luck
I've checked the Adobe PDF printer properties, and do not have "Enable advanced printing features" checked.
I am using the print spooler.
The Adobe PDF printer is using the Adobe PDF Converter driver.
I've read through a number of discussions/posts, and have not found a solution. I am working around the problem by printing to pdfFactory program and then saving as a .pdf, then managing the files in Acrobat X.
If anyone is aware of a solution/location, please respond to this post.

Are you saying there is no Adobe PDF printer, or it does not work? If it simply that it does not seem to work, then try to print to file with the printer. Then open the file in Distiller. If you get a resultant PDF, then the problem is most likely that you have somehow deactivated AcroTray.exe in the running applications. The program is in the Acrobat folder and needs to be started in that case. It should also be listed in your boot sequence for startup.

I cannot print to my canon LBP5300 from an iMac with MacOSX 10.8.3

I have just installed my new iMac 27" with MacOSX10.8.3. Downloaded and installed the latest printer driver for my Canon LBP5300 color laser printer, after un-installing the old version (installed via migration from my old mac). I've done this twice and although everything installs properly, the printer is in the printer list with the green idle light, the moment I print something I get the message "printer in use" and nothing happens.

If you haven't already tried it already, sometimes 'resetting the printing system' helps - but unfortunately not always. All printers will be deleted and need to be added again:

Cannot Delete A Junk Mail "Title" From Email Window?

I have just received one of the usual banking scam type emails.
ClamXav signaled it as a virus so I let Clam send it to the trash where I deleted it.
However, the actual "title" is still in my email window and refuses to be deleted.
Something like this happened a year ago but I cannot remember what I did to get rid of it .... if anything.

I gave up trying to delete it or send it to the trash and selected Edit>Cut.
It disappeared immediately.
I am still puzzled as to why it did not delete like a normal email. Probably connected with the fact that I had ClamXav send the contents (emix) to the trash.

I cannot print to my HP deskjet from win7 laptop through Airport Express

from control panel, i select add printer>add network printer or device>Find printer by TCP/IP address> then I'm stumped.
I'm asked for printer host name or IP address. Should I use the IP address of the airport express or what? I tried and it did not work.
Any suggestions?

Hi, Hope someone can help, when ckicking on a linked email address from a web page ie a link to contact by email, nothing happens, ie I am not transferred directly to the contact page, hope this makes sense. Any help appreciated

Have just had to replace my PC. Now instead of Windows XP I have Windows 7 installed.
I am told I can no londer use the Outlook Express, I have my present 2 e mail address accessed through GoogleG mail.
Can I presume that This is all I need to do and carry on without makin g other changes? I see on Windows 7 they have Windows Live but should I try to set this up instead of GoogelGmail or as well as?
I know very basic questions but as an OAP and 100 mile trip to the nearest computer specialist I would really appreciate your help (in very simple terms!)

I cannot print a full PDF document from my computer. I open the document and select my printer and click print and I only get the first page. I tell it to do a range of pages and I sometimes get the first 2 pages. Can anyone tell me if there is a setting somewhere that I can change to get this to work. I have downloading the document and saving it to my computer and then printing, and still no luck. This is becoming VERY frustrating.

First what program are you using to open the pdf document that would be a start? Also what kinda printer do you have? And also look here as well:

Cannot continue using the beta as it prints out my emails & info from websites as unreadable info. Are you working on this?

When I print out emails or info from web pages such as bank statements, the text comes out very small, out of order, not spaced properly. I had to switch back to the regular firefox browser because I was wasting too much paper.

There is a known bug involving printing in beta 12 that has been fixed in the Firefox 4 release candidate which has just been released.

Unable to print email content or from web but ok from windows viewer.

I have been using my Deskjet F4272 for at least one year with Windows 7 Pro 64 bit operating system.
Now I cannot print the contents of emails or web or scan anything. The only way I can print is to carry out a screen grab using the snipping tool and open the item in Windows viewer and print from there with no problem.
I have 3 Windows Pc's and the problem exists on all of them. They are running with latest updates.
Recently I have bought AVG anti virus which is installed on these PC's. I have downloaded the HP diagnostics tool which tells me all is OK ! I have downloaded the full install software (210Meg) and this tells me all is running OK !!!
Now I don't know how to proceed other than to chuck the printer away and go to another supplier !
Any ideas anyone ?

I don't know if this will help you, but I have an hp deskjet 2512 and a dell computer. I could always print emails and then today it would not print the content of the email, only the heading. I have been searching on here for a solution, but have found nothing. Just for the heck of it, I tried to print another email and after clicking on print I clicked on "pages" , where you can indicate what page you want printed and it worked! It printed the entire email. Go figure.
