My new HP Photosmart 7520 will not print from my mac. I have downloaded software successfully and there is a good wi fi signal. Is there help out there

I understand you cannot print from your Mac. I would suggest ensuring the copies work from the printer itself to test out the hardware first.
If the copies work fine, try:
Mac OS X: How to reset the printing system
Repair disk permissions
Restart your Mac
Re-add the printer (do not use the AirPrint driver)
Test print now

HP 8600 won't print from Apple/Mac Devices

I have two MacBook Airs, two iPhone 5s and 1 iPad2. I have a century link router (installed about 3 months ago). I have an HP 8600 Officepro all in one printer. Off and on, my devices stop being able to wirelessly access the printer. Error messages say things like "looking for printer" "printer cannot be located" "ink low". Once I followed Apple's suggestion to troubleshoot this problem and uninstalled the HP printer in my settings and reinstalled the newest drivers downloaded from HP. This allowed me to print from all devices for about a day.
Today, I went to the HP help site and printed a four step process for getting my apple devices to recognize my HP printer as on the wireless network. I shut everything down, restarted one by one, the router, one of the MacBook Airs, and the HP printer, while sitting with my MacBook Air next to the printer and the router.
When I got to Step 3, part 6, the instructions said:
Refer to the configuration page that you printed earlier. Make sure that the first three sets of numbers of the HP printer's IP address, found on the configuration page, match the first three sets of numbers of the IP address displayed on the Apple device. For example, if the HP printer's IP address is 192.168.1.xx, then the Apple device's IP address should be 192.168.1.xx. The last set of numbers, indicated by xx in the example, should not match.
THEY DO NOT MATCH--only the 192.168. on the Mac and HP match. The third set of numbers (e.g., in example above 0.1) do not match between my Wireless SSID and my HP SSID.
Is this my problem? The instructions don't tell me what to do if they do not match, and the MacBook Air still does not recognize the printer. HELP!!

What does the router have to do with a wireless printer? It shouldn't have anything to do with it. When you installed your printer software did you choose the option Wireless installation? That is what is needed to install and detect the printer wirelessly. The router shouldn't factor in this only other reason could be your printer is reaching it's lifespan and failing thus causing system connection problem.

Unable to print from my Mac system, but my other computers work

Have you encountered a problem printing from your Mac computer and it seems to work from everything else?
I have looked at several posts regarding to printing from a Mac. PrintDoc seems has a solution that can resolve most of the printing issues from Mac when other devices work.
1. Reset the printing system by clicking on Mac OS X: How to reset the printing system and following the steps exactly. This will reset just the printing system back to a fresh start. This works for 10.5 to 10.7.
2. Download and install the driver package Apple has here. This driver package will work for most HP printers. There is a link at the bottom of the driver page to verify that your printer is included. If it is not, check HP's support and drivers page at www.hp.com to download the right driver package for your printer.
This will resolve printing issues on Mac systems when the problem is isolated to the Mac.

If I can print to a wireless printer from my Mac, wouldn't it seem like I could print from my iPad mi I and iPhone 5?

I cannot print from my iPhone5 nor my iPad mini, to a wireless HP Photosmart Premium C309g-m. I can print from my Mac book pro. Is it my settings or the printer that is not set up correctly?

Hi, I'm trying to print from my mac to an Epson Stylus SX200 installed on my Vista PC. I have a wired network and printer sharing on etc but am getting in a right mess trying to get it all working. ]

I see you are having issues printing. I would like to help.
I am including a document to help determine whch version of the Mac OS you are using:
Mac OS X: How Do I Find Which Mac OS X Version Is on My Computer?
I would suggest deleting the printer from your print system, using this document: Uninstalling the Printer Software.
Once you have deleted it, I would suggest verifying and repairing the disk permissions: About Disk Utility's Repair Disk Permissions feature.
I would also suggest running your Apple updates: OS X: Updating OS X and Mac App Store apps
After the updates, I would recommend reinstalling the HP Officejet Pro 8600 e-All-in-One Printer - N911a Drivers.

I have a printer (Canon MF6530) connected to a PC Windows XP ServicePack3, i want to know, how can i print from my mac (MacBook Black Intel Core 2 Duo(/Lion)) to the PC by using WiFi, i´ve been trying several times, made my research and cant make it. I don´t know how can i use the PC´s IP, in order to connect the computers. Beside i don´t understand the difference between the Options IP and Windows when i try to install the printer in my mac.

It should show up in the available printers list when you select the "+" button in the Print & Fax section of System Preferences then. If it doesn't you can try selecting the IP pane and entering the IP address of the PC and use either LPD or IPP.
Sorry, if it's still not working I would have to say "I don't know."

Because your printer has to be Airprint compatible and connected to WiFi. There are applications, such as Printopia, that will allow you to print through your computer.

Can i print from my mac to a win 7 printer?

I have done a search and was unable to find the answer to my question. I have tried to figure out how to print from my MBP to my wifes printer that is attached to her windows 7 computer. I am able to print to that printer over the network with a windows computer but not my mac.
Does anyone know how to get this done or if it is even possible?

Printing from your Mac to a printer attached to a WIndows 7 printer can indeed be done.
It use to be quite easy under Windows XP or even Vista, But Microsoft changed the SMB code in Windows 7, making it more of a headache.

Can't print from Intel Mac w/Snow Leopard to HP 2600

Can't print from Intel Mac w/Snow Leopard to HP 2600. Upgraded from OS 10.4 and printer showed on printer list along with an Epson scanner. but continually shows printer as offline. I finally deleted the HP Color Laserjet 2600n from the printer list. When I attempted to re-install it, it doesn't find the printer at all. I haven't attempted to use the scanner. I also went to HP and downloaded the driver, no luck. I've restarted the computer multiple times, tried it with the printer on, and printer off, as well as pulled the usb cable in and out both ends. No error message on the printer display and it gpes through normal warmup until it shows the green light. I run software update and it shows no updates needed. Help!

When you press print the first window is pretty basic.
When you select print on that the next window should have an advanced option.
Click that and see if any of the options in the 3rd dropdown box allow you to specify the 'paper tray'.

In this new windaow, click "advanced", go to "paper type/quality" and choose " best" and a photo paper. Then you will be able to choose a paper source (photo tray).
Once you have these settings, under presets do "save as", and you can choose the preset instead of going to advanced.
If you have the latest software and drivers downloaded from HP, this will work.
