    Try:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Restore from backup. See:

If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

  • Not printing properly with horizontal lines

    HP Officejet Pro 8500A
Not printing properly (Faded colors) with horizontal lines, printing excess pages with odd scripts.  I suspect printer heads.
    All color cartidges are full.
Printing can be direct from computer or by scanning from the printer.  Either way, it has the same issues.

  • Aperture printing with black horizontal lines on Epson RX580

    Hi all,
I've recently converted to a Mac and Aperture after decades on PCs. I just printed my first pictures with Aperture on my old Epson RX580, and they have thin but distinct black horizontal lines. About 3-4 evenly spaced lines on an 8x10.
It's possible that my printer is just dying. I did the nozzle test and the alignment test and cleaned the nozzles a bunch of times. But the lines are still there.
I'll try to print from another computer (to confirm that it's the printer), but is anyone familiar with this? Could it be something in the Aperture settings or in the way it talks to the printer?
    Thank you.

    Hi
I've recently notice I have a thin black line in my screen.. I went to Apple store and was told it’s a hardware problem (400$+ to fix as no warranty).
This is the second time I’m having hardware screen issues with a Macbook Air (last time it was 3 months after I bought it, and it was replaced with this one)
Looks like the Macbook Air screens are very problematic!  Anyone experience something like that?
    Thanks,
    Eyal.

  • Horizontal line across image

Can anyone help me get rid of the horizontal line that runs all the way across the middle of the image from the camera. I have just installed a Live Pro and the line is on both a still image and a video image. I have updated the drivers from the website but I still have the line. Running on Windows XP

  • Omni lighting creating horizontal lines on image

when applying an omni lighting effect to an image it creates horizontal lines, why does it do it and how do i get it to stop.

    Hi Benjamin
Thanks for replying. Hope theres something you know that could help, its such a little thing but so annoying!!

  • Strange horizontal lines in images after render

Hard to explain but after I rendered, many of my photos which have motion have horizontal lines in them like those hologram toys from the old crackerjacks boxes. The images moves like commanded but there are lines in it.

Yes when I play it or burn to DVD they are still there but not when I am watching it on the timeline. If I render all then sometimes this happens. I've rendered, seen the change, clicked undue and they look good again. Strange. It's not on all of them but some are really really bad. Wish I could show you. I'll think on that and maybe post it to utube or something.

  • Photoshop lighting effects puts horizontal line through image

Apply filter > Lighting effects to an image (300 ppi RGB) and when photoshop renders the lighting, there is a horizontal line through the image. It is not a screen or video issue, it is in the image and has to be retouched out like corrupt image.
not a transparency issue, tried different file formats, flattened image first, etc.
    WHY?
Had this happen before, but now in Cloud V6 is really aggrevating. People have been posting about this for at least 3 versions with no answers.

Moved from the Creative Cloud to the Photoshop forum. They will be able to help you here.

  • Horizontal Line When Image is Moving

    Hey Guys,
Just burned a DVD from iDVD and the thatre are horizontal lines distort the image when there's movement. What's the problem? Thanks so much for any help.
    Jennifer

Without seeing it the exact reason is hard to diagnose.
It could be caused my interlacing artifacts which can be cured in FCE with the Deinterlace Filter.
However, you have to spot the problem while you are editing and the only way you can do that is to have a TV connected to your Mac, as a normal computer screen does not show these problems.

  • MX 882 prints irregular, empty horizontal lines for its black characters

I'm running an MX 882 with Word 2010 on Windows 7.  It has worked perfectly for 4 years.  Suddenly it's printing illegible pages of empty horizontal stripes across all of the black characters.  Colors are coming out fine.  Any ideas?

  • Printing from lightroom leaves lines on image

    Hi All,
I'm using a late 2009 iMac running Lightroom 5.5 and printing to a canon MG7150 photo printer.  When i try to print photographs (I'm using Ilford photo paper but the same result happens with normal paper) i get lines across the printed page.  I've played around with the printer set up (head alignment etc) and have even had a replacement printer but am still getting the same issue.  I printed the same image from photoshop and the lines were still there but at a much wider interval so I guess it must be something to do with the print settings or the way that lightroom interacts with the printer?  See below for an example scan of one of my shots, the lines can be clearly seen
I'm printing using The Ilford printer profile specifically for the MG 6150 (they dont seem to do one for the 7150) but i get the same results whether I print using the profile managed by printer / lightroom.
please help this is driving me a bit nutso!
    Thanks

I don't believe this has anything to do with Lightroom. When you go to page setup, can you choose quality, and then choose photo? It looks to me like the printer is trying to print in standard text mode. Also, I wouldn't suggest using a profile that seems to be close to what you have for a printer. If the profile isn't for your specific printer I would suggest not using it.
Incidentally, I checked with Red River paper company and they provide profiles for their paper for the Canon MG7120, but not for your printer model. I'm not familiar with the Canon MG printers, so I don't know if your model uses the same print head technology as the 7120. If the print head is different then I would assume that your printer model doesn't really support printer profiles, but that is only a guess.

  • C4780 prints horizontal lines.

Hi, my trusty HP  is misbehaving!
    1) print quality has horizontal lines and chops lines of text
    2) test page looks a little empty/light - please can someone confirm the last attachment below?
Please see below 2 images of jolly penguins, troubled by horizontal lines.  There is another page of BW text which has problems with a horizontal line chop every few lines
First pic is Draft quality, second pic is Best and third pic is BW text.
I have aligned the print cartridge, cleaned the print cartridge several times, cleaned the paper feed, cleaned back of page smear. Basically I have done everything available to me on the HP Toolkit. Also cleaned carefully the cartridge itself as per instructions on HP website.
    Printer is out of warranty.
Apart from buying a new printer..anything else can be done?
    Thanks
    Phil
Test page  looks a little empty/light - please can someone confirm ? the only thing which appears is:

Hi Phil, really sorry for the delay getting back to you, I must have missed your reply in my email.
So if the cartridges are within warranty I'd suggest contacting phone support. Location of the warranty ends dates shown below....

  • Unwanted Horizontal lines in PDF (print to file)

From any other program, printing to Adobe PDF produces a pdf file that contains unwanted horizontal lines, oddly spaced, on entire page. Have tried multiple settings/configs and am unable to stop this annoying behavior. Any tips are appreciated.

Me too! Just yesterday, Aug. 4!
I get horizontal lines about 0.4 inches apart on the prints, but no lines on the PDF on the monitor. They just show up on the print.
It happened the day I ran malware and virus scans in the morning.
It only affects prints from PDFs created by SolidWorks.  WORD documents print fine.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled my HP printer software.
I did the repair for Adobe reader 9.3.3
I even changed my ink cartridges that were low.
    What else can I try?
What caused this? Is it because our names are Paul?
I tried to contact Adobe without spending $39, but was unsuccessful. I thought maybe they would like to know about problems. Is the forum the only way to do that?

  • Photosmart 8250 4x6 Prints with horizontal lines running through them

I'm getting horizontal lines running through many of the 4x6 prints made with my Photosmart 8250.  They're about 1/3"  to 2/3" apart from one another.  I've run the head cleaning process and alignment process.  I've tried cleaning the rollers.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks.
