Hi Sherman1,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums. I gather that you would to know if the HP All-in-One Printer Remote app supports the Photosmart C5180 printer (from your other post I realized that C1580 was a typo).
Your printer is not one of the one supported by the HP mobile apps. I have included the HP Printers and Supported Mobile Printing Solutions document for reference.

Although ePrint connects happily to my wireless Photosmart printer, the All in One app is completely unable to discover it. Please advise how I move forwards.....L

    Hello RASb,
Welcome to the HP Support forums.  I gather that HP’s AiO app on your mobile device is not “seeing” the printer.
To better assist you, would you please provide some additional information:
What make/model/product number of HP printer do you have? Guide to finding your product number
How is the printer connected (USB cable, ethernet, or wireless)?
What operating system are you using on your computer (Windows 7, Mac 10.8, or Windows 8, etc)?
Are you using an Android or Apple mobile device?
Is the mobile device connected to the same network that the printer is connected to?
Have you downloaded and installed the HP ePrint app?  If yes, is it able to see the printer?
Have you customized the printer’s ePrint email address?
    Thank you.

  • Trouble finding printer

Hi all.  My desktop cannot find my printer even though both the desktop and the printer are hard wired to my home network.  Help!  This is driving me batty.
I have a Linksys WRT160N router and a Brother MFC 7840W wireless printer.  My desktop is running XP.  I now the connectios are ok because my laptop can find the wireless network and print to the printer.  My desktop doesn't have a wireless card, but that shouldnt matter as it is hardwired to the router and the Linksys Easylink running on the desktop can see both the desktop and the printer on the local network.
The Add Printer Wizard in windows simply doesn't see the printer and I don't know how to find it.  Any help much appreciated.

Make sure that the printer's driver is installed properly on the computer...Make sure File and Printer Sharing is Enabled...
Also make sure both the computer's are in the same workgroup...The default workgroup name in Windows Vista has been changed to WORKGROUP. In WindowsXP, the default workgroup name is MSHOME...

    Hi Peter,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums.  I understand that you are trying to use the new HP AiO Remote app for Windows phones to print to your Photosmart 7150 printer.
The Photosmart 7150 printer only supports USB connectivity, I have include the Photosmart 7150 Printer Specifications for reference.  To be able to use the HP AiO Remote app the printer needs to be connected to a wireless network.
If you accidentally typed the incorrect printer model, please let me know which make/model/product number of HP printer that you have. How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number?

  • AIO app on iPAD not finding my HP Photosmart C4750 printer

The AIO app on my iPad can't find my HP Photosmart C4750 printer. However, the HP eprint app on my same iPad does find the printer. Printer is turned on, connected to the network. My HP laptop and my HP eprint app on my iPad both find the printer. Only my AIO app on my iPad is blind to the printer.

    Hello world-peace,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums!
I was able to find out why the C4750 will not listed in the All-in-One Remote app, but is in the ePrint app. The printer just isn't supported in the app.
You will have to keep using the ePrint app for any printing done with the iPad and C4750.
Wish I better news, or a workaround for you.

  • Trouble adding printer to HP ePrint Home and Biz iPhone app - can't find printer's email address

I'm trying to connect my HP Photosmart c6380 to my iPhone. I already downloaded the app and my printer is connected to my wireless network, as is my iPhone, but I can't add my printer to the app.
When I go to "Manage ePrinters" and try to add a printer with the + button I see 3 choices:
Add ePrinter from list: "No ePrinters available"
Add Manually: I can't find the printer's email address even using the instructions found at the ePrint center.
Add from WiFi Network: My printer isn't shown in this list so it does not support auto discovery.
So I'm guessing that if I could just find my printer's email address that would connect it to my iPhone for wireless printing, but I can't for the life of me find it.
    Any help is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks.

    Hello amybett,
I have bad news and good news. The bad news is that your printer is not Airprint/ePrint capable. However, the good news is that with the HP ePrint Home and Biz iPhone app it does not need to be Airprint/Eprint capable, as long as it is connected to the same network as your phone.
Here are the steps you will want to take to print something:
    1. Setup the app by completing the email registration and entering the code (which I believe you have).
    2. Select the item you wish to print using the menu in the app (Photo Albums, Saved Files, Web Browser, etc.).
    3. Once you select the item you should see the item and a large "Print" button under it.
    4. If the printer you want to print to is not listed above the "Print" button, select the icon on the right (wrench/computer) and select the printer you wish to use (along with other settings).
    5. Tap on the "Back" button in the top left corner, then tap "Done" (blue button in the top right corner), and then tap the "Print" button to print your item.
Let me know if you are still having trouble after following the guide above.
If I have helped in any way, just click the Kudos star on the left. Also, if your issue has been resolved, don't forget to select Accept as Solution

I would like to print a four sided programme, but am having trouble finding out how to organise the sections onto a 17  by 11 paper with the sections in the right order. Any help?

If all you are going to do is print double sided and them make
a single fold reducing the page to 8 1/2 x 11, one side of the
original 17 x 11 page will be page 4 on the left as you hold
the page facing you and page 1 on the right, reverse side
should be printed so top is same as top on the the first side
and will be page 2 to the left and page 3 to the right. Pick
up the double sided document with pages 2 and 3 facing you, fold
left edge to meet right edge; you should now have fold on the left
with page 1 facing up toward you, turn the page as you normally
would and pages 2 & 3 should be in order, and one more turn brings
you to page 4 and the fold should know be on the right. I hope this
explains clearly enough - if not, post back and some one should
join in with a better explanation.

  • HP AIO Remote shows wireless printer offline when it is online and can print to it.

HP AIO Remote installed on my Windows 8.1 Yoga 2 shows my wireless printer is offline, when it is online and I can print to it wirelessly.  How can I get it to recognize my wireless printer is online wirelessly?  AIO Remote will only recognize the printer is online when the USB in connected to the Yoga 2.

    Hi rpmcintyre,
Thank you for the additional information.  I apologize for misunderstanding. I just want to confirm that the HP AiO app that you downloaded onto your Windows 8.1 computer is showing your printer as offline when you are able to print wirelessly to the printer.
I have two different documents for you.  The first one is How to Use the HP AiO Remote App for Windows 8.  It has a FAQ section at the bottom of the document with trouble shooting steps.  I have also included the Supported Printers for the HP Scan and Capture App.
If the above documents don’t assist you, would you please let me know which make/model/product number of HP printer that you have? How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number?

  • OfficeJet 6310xi - recognized and functional with iOS ePrint app but not AIO app. Why?

As noted - OJ 6310xi is on same netork as other printers and all computing devices.  The iOS app "HP ePrint" recognizes and allows printing to the 6310xi.
The AIO Remote app will find all printers on the network except the 6310xi.  The 6310xi is not WiFi enabled and is not an "ePrint" printer, but it is networked to WiFi accessible network.  Works with one app, why not the other?  Am I overlooking a setting somewhere?

    Hi MedMarkCo
I'm sorry to hear that you are encountering difficulties connecting your printer to different apps.
The HP ePrint app is designed to work with your home wireless network as well as with your mobile device's data access.  As you have your printer connected directly to your router via an ethernet cable is available on your wireless network for the app to "see" the printer.  For further information on the HP ePrint app I have included a link to the HP ePrint Mobile App FAQs document.
I have done some research on the AIO Remove app you mentioned in your post.  I have included a link to their website and they have a way for you to contact them if you need assistance or have feedback.

  • Image Capture and Preview have trouble finding scanner. Photoshop no problem.

Image Capture and Preview have trouble finding the scanner wirelessly unless it is on when the Mac starts up. Photoshop finds the scanner no problem. Any suggestions for Image Capture or Preview?
The scanner is Canon MP620. Mac is MBP, running 10.8.2
I have done all the uninstall, reinstall, update drivers, etc. Please don't bother suggesting that stuff.
    Thanks.

As for the scanner - so is this new one wireless? When I hooked up my Epson All-in-One, I had to install it via USB first before I could install the wireless (per their instructions).  With Snow Leopard, I simply installed the driver and it covered and recognized both the print and scan function - not so in Lion; I had to go through hoops with the scanner part and it finally showed up as a separate unit. I thought that is silly, but - as long as it works.....  I'm trying to think of possibilities since I'm about out of ideas, so you might want to consider that (if it applies). The other troubleshooting suggestions usually include redoing the "add" function after a reboot.
As for Image Capture, I am out of ideas. FWIW, I never use it - in my workflow, there is no need for it. Not sure if this would have an impact, but make sure that you choose Image Capture in the CDs&DVDs Preference Pane (mine is set to ignore or ask purposely):
If that does not work, I'd suggest reinstalling the OS over the top of what you have.

  • Mac OS 10.5 Bonjour Unable to find printer driver for P1606dn connected via wired network.

I have been trying to connect my HP Laserjet Pro P1606dn to my PowerMac G5 running Mac OS 10.5.8.  I connected the priner to my LAN via Ethernet cables and NetGear 8-port switch.  I then successfully installed the printer driver from the supplied CD on the Mac and went to System Preferences / Print & Fax to add the printer to the list of connected printers.  Hit the "+" button.  The HP P106dn was listed in the table (Kind = Bonjour).
I selected this entry in the table, and the dialog box immediately went into action: the "Print Using" pullodwn listed the greyed out message "Please select a driver or printer model" and a spinning wheel labeled "Searching for new drivers" appeared below it.  The dialog box searches for but never finds the printer driver (I waited 20 minutes with no success).  I have installed other HP printers this way on this machine without any problem, e.g., HP Color Laserjet 2605dn.  Why is this method not working with this printer?
I was able to connect this printer with other (Intel) Macs in my household via this LAN arrangement.  Is the printer driver for Intel-only Macs?
I disconnecting the printer from the LAN and connected it directly to my Mac with a USB cable.  Followed the same process, and I was able to connect to this printer.  Successfully printed a document page.  While this provides me with a work-around for the G5 Mac, I need to share this printer with the other Macs in my household.
I went to the HP download site and downloaded the latest driver for this printer, re-installed the printer driver on the Mac, and repeated the steps for the LAN arrangement (above) to complete the connection via the Print & Fax dialog.  The result was the same: spinning wheel searching for a printer driver that it cannot find.
I do not know what else to do, or why this installation will not work.  I would appreciate it very much if anyone could offer an explanation for this or some suggestions as to what else can be done?
    Ed

I apologize for the delay in responding to you.  I was on the road all day yesterday.
OK.  I switched the printer's Ethernet cable to a Linksys Switch (Model EZX S55W) that's part of this local network.  That did not work.  I swapped out the cable for one that I know works.  Still no change.  I switched the printer's Ethernet cable directly to a port on the router.  No change.  I even swapped cables here, too, but no success.
As I was doing all this, I was wondering: When I select the HP P1606dn printer in the Print and Fax "Add" dialog box, (see the image below) and the Print Using pulldown menu displays "Please select a driver or printer model" and the message "Searching for new drivers" appears under it (with the spinning wheel), why is it that the Ethernet connection to printer is critical to "finding" a new (printer) driver?
Isn't the utility searching through my system and libraries looking for a printer driver app for the printer that I identified/selected in the dialog box?
After all, if the dialog box lists the printer among those to choose from, hasn't the utility already discovered the printer via the Ethernet connection?
