  • AIO app on iPAD not finding my HP Photosmart C4750 printer

The AIO app on my iPad can't find my HP Photosmart C4750 printer. However, the HP eprint app on my same iPad does find the printer. Printer is turned on, connected to the network. My HP laptop and my HP eprint app on my iPad both find the printer. Only my AIO app on my iPad is blind to the printer.

    Hello world-peace,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums!
I was able to find out why the C4750 will not listed in the All-in-One Remote app, but is in the ePrint app. The printer just isn't supported in the app.
You will have to keep using the ePrint app for any printing done with the iPad and C4750.
Wish I better news, or a workaround for you.

  • AiO app cannot find printer

Although ePrint connects happily to my wireless Photosmart printer, the All in One app is completely unable to discover it. Please advise how I move forwards.....L

    Hello RASb,
Welcome to the HP Support forums.  I gather that HP’s AiO app on your mobile device is not “seeing” the printer.
To better assist you, would you please provide some additional information:
What make/model/product number of HP printer do you have? Guide to finding your product number
How is the printer connected (USB cable, ethernet, or wireless)?
What operating system are you using on your computer (Windows 7, Mac 10.8, or Windows 8, etc)?
Are you using an Android or Apple mobile device?
Is the mobile device connected to the same network that the printer is connected to?
Have you downloaded and installed the HP ePrint app?  If yes, is it able to see the printer?
Have you customized the printer’s ePrint email address?
    Thank you.

    Hi Sherman1,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums. I gather that you would to know if the HP All-in-One Printer Remote app supports the Photosmart C5180 printer (from your other post I realized that C1580 was a typo).
Your printer is not one of the one supported by the HP mobile apps. I have included the HP Printers and Supported Mobile Printing Solutions document for reference.

  • IPad AiO app: Sharing multiple files/docs at one time?

iPad AiO remote app:  I cannot share more than one file or doc at a time to Cloud storage, even though you can 'select all' the app does not seem to allow you to share a group at one time.  Is there a work around for this?

    Hello aqtpa33629,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums!
I see that you are using the AiO remote app and are trying to upload files to your Cloud storage. The "Select All" option is for selecting all files to delete, not uploading.
The app is only allowing one file to upload because only one file can be opened at one time.

  • OfficeJet 6310xi - recognized and functional with iOS ePrint app but not AIO app. Why?

As noted - OJ 6310xi is on same netork as other printers and all computing devices.  The iOS app "HP ePrint" recognizes and allows printing to the 6310xi.
The AIO Remote app will find all printers on the network except the 6310xi.  The 6310xi is not WiFi enabled and is not an "ePrint" printer, but it is networked to WiFi accessible network.  Works with one app, why not the other?  Am I overlooking a setting somewhere?

    Hi MedMarkCo
I'm sorry to hear that you are encountering difficulties connecting your printer to different apps.
The HP ePrint app is designed to work with your home wireless network as well as with your mobile device's data access.  As you have your printer connected directly to your router via an ethernet cable is available on your wireless network for the app to "see" the printer.  For further information on the HP ePrint app I have included a link to the HP ePrint Mobile App FAQs document.
I have done some research on the AIO Remove app you mentioned in your post.  I have included a link to their website and they have a way for you to contact them if you need assistance or have feedback.

  • HP envy 120 - scanning via aio app

    Hello,
I am having a problem using the HP All in One app for scanning.
I am using an HP envy 120 printer/scanner.
The printer and scanner work fine when operating directly on the printer device.
However, when using the app, the printer works fine but the scanner does not. I am trying to scan a document on the printer, but manage the scanning process from my ipad. The app triggers the scan to start (the printer recognises this and moves the scanner over the document). But the app then stops and displays an error message: "There was a problem during the scan. Please check the scanner and try again."
I have not been able to find a solution for this online. Can you please help? Thank you.

    Hello AckHP,
I see you are trying to scan with the AiO Printer Remote Mobile App, using the Envy 120 and an iPad.
Seeing that you can print from the iPad, scan and print from the printer control panel, it would seem to be a communication issue between the router, iPad and printer.
    1. Try checking for updates on the printer first, Getting the Latest Firmware and Product Updates. If this helps, no need to continue.
    2. Power reset the iPad, printer and router.
First the router; if it has a power button, press that. If not, remove the power cord.
Remove the power cord from the printer, while on.
Hold the Home and Lock button down on the iPad till it powers off.
After one full minute, power on all devices and try scanning again.
    3. Uninstall and install the App, then try scanning again.
    Let me know the results.

  • Hp aio remote app on iPhone won't scan to my hp photosmart 7515

hp aio remote app "there was a problem during scanning. check scanner and try again" when using hp photosmart 7515 however this is a new issue the app scanning worked before. Also I can no longer print or scan unless at home and connected to my network

    Hello @mbranch37,
    Welcome to the HP forums.
I understand that you are having a problem with the AIO app, as well as what sounds like a web services issue.
    I would like to help.
Before working with the app, I would like to make sure the printer is fine.
On the front panel of your printer touch the Web Services icon. (also known as the ePrint button)
If you get a server connection error, I would set a manual DNS.
The following post by happytohelp01, has instructions for setting the manual DNS.
If for some reason the printers email or ePrint address has changed, you will have to set it up again.
If the email is the same and you do not get any error messages, try cycling your network.
Turn off the printer and other network devices.
Unplug the power to your router for at least a minute.
Plug the power cord back into the router.
Turn on all your network devices.
Wait until the blue wireless light on your printer stops blinking.

  • Why is it not possible to "scan duplex" on the AIO Remote-App

Today I was trying to scan a few letters with front and backside via the AIO-App.
Unfortunately it's neither with the Android-App nor with the iPhone-App nearly as comfortable as with the PC. You always need to sort the scans manually - and with the screensize of e.g. an iPhone this isn't fun at all...
Could you please support an automatic sorting mechanism as featured on the normal PC-client?!?
    Best regards,
    Batschi

I would like to add to this question/request. I, too, am using iOS 8 from iPhone and iPad connected to an HP Officejet Pro 8500A.
Also, it is infuriating that there is no deafault paper size: in Europe, we use A4; Letter is a purely US size that we never see, this side of the Pond. Please incorporate a feature that will allow a forced default rather than reverting to Letter every time the app is opened.
    Thank you.

  • HP LaserJet Pro M177fw and AIO Remote App

Will HP AIO App remote supports HP LaserJet Pro M177fw Multifunction Printer later.
Or is there any other way to control the printer to scan without going back to my computer?

    @Ashley8
With regards to the no support of the AiO remote app and the m177, this is only on the iOS and android app.
You will need to use your desktop/computer as your go to scan for the m177.

  • AiO iPad app + HP LaserJet Pro 200 color MFP M276nw

    Hi.
I'm trying to let the AiO iPad app recognize my M276nw printer.
AirPrint printing works flawlessy, so the HP Supply app does (it recognizes the printer and let me check for toner levels).
There's no way to let the printer appear in the AiO Remote app but no luck.
I've tryied both wifi and ethernet connection. I've tryied several iOS devices with different iOS version but no positive results. Checking new firmware on the printer itself says latest version is already installed.
Any help would be much appreciated.
    Thanks,

     @lucadb
Thank you for posting regarding the AiO app and the m276nw printer. Based on your issue, I tested my m276nw printer with my iPad Air this morning and was able to find the  printer and successully: print, scan and copy to and from it.
Question: When you first open the app, you should be have a screen called printer connections ~ does this screen show that your  iOS device is connected to the printer and the router? If not, check your network connection between your printer and your iOS device?
If you are not seeing the above screen, then you are not using our newest app version and need to upgrade your app via the itunes store.
Please let me know if you continue to have issues with this app and connecting to the m276nw printer.

  • How do I use the AiO wifi app to print email on my droid device

Good morning,  I need help printing on a Droid device.  My printer is the ENVY 5660.  The app is install and validated on the Motorola Maxx phone.   I can pick the HP app and do see; File, Photos etc.    was able to successfully print a document from that screen.   What I am wanting to do is print an email and attachment.  I don't see what I want within the AiO app.On my iPhone6+ all I have to do is pick the backward curved arrow.  There I get a screen menu with "reply" "forward" "print " and "cancel"     I pick the "print" select my 5660 from the list and print. It's not that easy on the Droid?   Thanks

Hi, let me try and answer your questions to the best of my ability:
How would I get the ePrint app-initiated printouts to reach the 7500A?
From within the app and with the file you want printed displayed, you should see the printer details at the bottom of the screen on your device. If the printer you wish to print to is not the one presented, you can press the down arrow to the right of the printer name and then select the Printer option at the top of the next screen. This will automatically search for and find available printers on your network. Choose the printer you wish to print to and this will update the printer selected at the point of print. I've included some screenshots of what this will look like
How could I print to the 8500 by email? (Remember, emailed prints still go to the 7500A).
Unfortunately it will not be possible to print to the 8500 by email. The printer must have the ePrint capability in order to be able to do this.
How do I add the 7500A to the ePrint app so that I can print to the 7500A yet without disturbing the current ePrint app printer that prints to the 8500?
See the answer to the first question
If this does not help to solve your problem you could try installing HP Home Network Diagnostic Utility tool to verify that nothing is amiss with your networked printers

  • AIO Remote

Can you tell me why I can use HP e-print on my Ipad but my C4385 is not compatible with AIO remote. My Ipad has no problem finding and printing on my C4385 using HP e-print. However AIO can not find my printer. Every other scan and print app that I have tested has no problem finding my C4385. How is it that this HP software can't find one of its Owen. The printer is connected through the same network as my Ipad.

HP AIO Remote installed on my Windows 8.1 Yoga 2 shows my wireless printer is offline, when it is online and I can print to it wirelessly.  How can I get it to recognize my wireless printer is online wirelessly?  AIO Remote will only recognize the printer is online when the USB in connected to the Yoga 2.
