HP C4680 does not print test page (iMac - OS Yosemite 10.10)

Recently, my C4680 has stopped printing from my iMac. It also no longer prints a copy of a page placed on the scanner. Here's some info about what I've checked and done so far.
1. The ink supply levels are fine. I am using HP's proprietary ink.
2. I deleted C4680 from the list of printers and added it back. Adding back the printer did not indicate that a new driver was needed. (The last time I used the printer was under OSX 10.9 Mavericks)
3. Under the utilities menu, I clicked on "printhead cleaning." A blank page printed under Level 1 cleaning, but Level 2 and Level 3 cleaning each produced pages printed with text and color bars. So, the ink is working.
4. Under the utilities menu, I clicked on "Align," but it only produced a blank page.
5. Under the utilities menu, I clicked on "test page," but only got a blank page.
Why isn't my printer working? As I mentioned before, the "printhead cleaning" utility produced printed text, but I get a blank page for other tasks.
Is it a HP driver issue? Is a new driver needed for OSX Yosemite? If so, where do I find it.
Help would be greatly appreciated.

I would like to help you with the printing issue you are experiencing. I understand the issue seems to be related to the ink system or potentially the driver. The best plan of attack is to narrow down the root cause.
Can you please perform a colour copy that contains black spots too? I would like to see if the printer hardware can duplicate a page without any quality issues. Please let me know the outcome of the copy and we can go from there. Thanks

According to your description, I’m not sure the meaning of Page header in your scenario. In Reporting Services, a page header that run along the top of each page, respectively. Headers can contain static text, images, lines, rectangles, borders, background
color, background images, and expressions. But we couldn’t add tablix in the page header.
If you are saying report header, a report header consists of the report items that are placed at the top of the report body on the report design surface. They appear only once as the first content in the report. So it cannot repeat in other pages.
If you are saying tablix header, freezing column headers are different in table and matrix. For more details, please refer to the following thread:

Report header section does not print all pages

Hi,
I have a custom report that consists of all 3 parts. it has a header section, main section, and a trailer section.
I have a problem in a header section that it does not print all pages. It only gives the output of the first page and the last page for the header section.
I open the .rdf file with oracle reports 6i .
what do i need to check please?

Sounds like the table is to large to fit on a single page. Have you tried using the "Shrink to Page" option in the Print Preview? Depending on your version of Word, my attached picture may not be 100% similar but it should be enough to give you an idea. Here is the option inside the print preview menu:

Have you tried deleting the printer and reinstalling? At least you are getting the printer to do something. My print job just gets hung up in queue.

HP 1055 cm Plus Plotter will not print Test Page from any port - Vista 64

Have a brand new computer with the Vista 64 bit platform and an HP 1055 cm Plus Plotter. I have downloaded the software and drivers from the web, and got it to recognize the plotter. With the plotter as the default, it will not print a test page from any of the ports. I have tried all of the ports multiple times. I must have the wrong driver, or is there another problem I am missing?
Please help, and help quickly, my idiotic boss keeps hounding me and making the most ridiculous suggestions "try turning it on and off again" "Why do you even need a driver, just print it", etc. etc. HELP!

Officejet Pro 8000 A809 suddenly not working. Will not print test page.

Plugs secure, on light illuminated. Paper feeds blank once, then mangles. Paper feed button not responsive.
Win 7 indicates "printing" when print command is sent, but zero response from printer. "Y" color light is flashing and has for a while, but it has always worked until now.
Complete reboot tried, not helpful.

I have read your post on the dimishing print quality of the blue cartridge, and I would be more than happy to be of assistance!
In addition to faded colour, what does the quality look like on Test Pattern 3? Are there white or black lines going horizontal through the gray bars?
Since you have already performed two printhead cleanings with diminishing results, I would recommend replacing your magenta/cyan printhead. This step can be found in the Troubleshooting Print Quality Issues document under "step 3" of "Solution 4."

Combined PDF file does not print all pages????

I have roughly 20 seperate pdf files that I combine using "merge files into a singel pdf". When printing these files that have 200 to 300 pages there are always pages within the last 1/3 of the full document that will not print. I can see them on my screen but there are random pages that do not print? Does anyone have any suggestions?

I had this printer hp 6210 office jet all-in -one for a while. it connected to my laptop but i finally started using it again since I move and I can't get it to print the test page

Does not print web page - 'save as' menu appears - unknown problem dialog box then appears. Only recently - does not happen in explorer??

Try to print a webpage or selection therefrom.
When 'file'- 'print' selected on Mozilla tabs, it does not work. The print menu appears but when 'print' clicked, the 'save as' menu box appears. When 'save as' is closed a dialog box appears saying 'unknown error while printing'. Cannot print webpage unless from a screensaver (ie whole screen). This has only happened recently (update maybe). Internet Explorer 11 does not print any page

When i attempt to print any page, on any printer (also pdf printers), with Internet explorer 11, there is no error message, but it don't print anything. The printers queue is empty.
If i go to the print preview and then i print the page, i receive the following error:
"there was an internal error Internet Explorer is unable to print this document"

Have you make you have tried all methods in that article? If yes, try to print from Internet Explorer 11with no Add-on mode for test.

Reader X does not print particular page

But, this page can be printed by Nitro Reader.

Using a Kyocera C5020N laser printer I lose the fields

I see that you aren't able to print. You are getting the message "printer is not responding". I would like to help you resolve this issue.
If you have a valid IPv4 address for the printer then try and access the Embedded Web Server for the printer.
Type the IPv4 address into your web browser's address bar. (Safari)
Did it load the page?
If it loaded, then the printer is still on the network.
You might have to restart the Mac and power cycle the router if it doesn't load the Embedded Web Server.
Repair the Disk Permissions on the Mac:
Close all applications.
On the Apple menu bar, click Go, click Applications and then click Utilities.
Double-click Disk Utility.
Highlight your hard drive/partition on the left.
Click Verify and then Repair Disk Permissions.
Restart the computer..
Reset the Printing System:
Note: This will remove all printers in the print and Fax/Scan, any printer removed can be re-added later by clicking the plus (+) symbol.
Click the Apple icon and then click System Preferences.
Click Printers & Scanners.
Right-click (or Ctrl +click) in the left white side panel, then click Reset printing system.
Click OK to confirm the reset.
Type the correct Name and Password.
Click OK to reset the printing system.
Then click the + sign to add the driver, highlight the printer. (you might have to click the drop down to select the printer's name) Then click on the Add button.
Try printing again.
