I do not know if this printer is able to print from a ipad . If it is , how ?

If you do not have an HP ePrint-enabled printer (which the Photosmart C6380 is not), you cannot print from an Apple device using the HP ePrint service or Apple's AirPrint. However, HP has a free mobile printing solution for HP wireless printers: the HP ePrint mobile app.
You can give that a try by following the instructions here.

Hi,
Here are a couple of things to try. I would first start with downloading and running the Print Diagnostic Utility. IF this doesn't clear it up, then try the document on Problems printing from the internet.

Hp printer 6210 all in one won't print from computer

My HP6210 all in one printer will not print from a computer that has Vista. My operating system is Windows. The printer worked fine with my old laptop which did not have Vista. However, soon as I connected my daughther's computer, which has Vista, it will not print. My computer no longer works so I need to use hers. What can I do to get it to work? Thank you,Beeky27

First, I would make sure that the full feature software and drivers are installed, by downloading it from this link: HP Full Feature Software and Drivers. Then I would run the HP Print and Scan Doctor, to make sure everything is working. We will start with these steps and go from there! Envy 4502 all in one won't print from Windows XP

I just set up and successfully installed the software for my Envy 4502 on an old PC running Windows XP. The internal test page comes out fine, but when I send a document it appears very briefly in the print queue then disappears and the document won't print. Any ideas. I've tried all the stuff that the HP Doctor suggests, uninstalling then reinstalling etc.

Welcome to the HP Forums. I would be happy to help you print from your Windows XP operating system to your Envy 4502 printer. I understand your print jobs seem to be disappearing from the print queue.
What stuff did you try already? WHat did the Print and Scan Doctor suggest?
Please try bypassing the spooler to see if you can print directly to the printer.
1. Click on start and go to devices and printers.
2. Right click on the printer and click on printer properties.
3. Choose the option "Print directly to the printer".
4. Click apply and then ok.
If this works follow the next steps and try to print again.
Hold down the Windows Logo key () on the keyboard and the 'R' to open the run box
Type services.msc and press Enter
Locate Print Spooler and double click on it to open the Spooler properties
Make sure startup type is set to Automatic, if it is not please click on the drop down and choose Automatic
Under Service status, please Stop the server, and then wait a moment and click Start
If bypassing the spooler does not result in a successful print, let me know. Please post back to let me know if the issue is resolved, if bypassing the spooler led to a successful print, and what steps you had performed prior to posting on the forums. Thanks.

HP OfficeJet Pro 8500A e-all-in-one has stopped printing from my computer

My 8500e has been working fine for months. My computer is an HP HPE Phoenix h9t. I'm running Windows 7. The printer is set up on the wireless network. This week it just quit printing. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, downloaded diagnostics. You name it, I've done it. Nothing in my network or computer setup has changed. I can set up the wireless on the printer itself--it sees my wifi network, I enter the security code, I can print the wireless network test report from the printer itself, everything is pass and excellent.
Then when I install the software on the computer, tell it I have an IP address from the printer, which is connected wirelessly, I put in the IP address from the display screen on the printer and computer searches then says it can't find it. I have also reset the printer to factory defaults. No go.
We are definitely on the same, secure home network. However, now when I enter the IP address that the printer is giving me into IE, to see if I can see it that way, it can't find it. Is that where the problem is? How do I fix that?
I am WAY beyond frustrated, my work is frighteningly behind, and my husband can't airprint from his iPad. I have searched the forum and can't figure this out.

HP Officejet6210-All-in-One Won't print from Internet

I have a Verizon DSL Modem. A Dell desktop (approx. 5 years old) with Windows XP. The printer works fine when printing documents from MS Word or other non-Internet programs. However, I can't print anything from the Internet i.e. Map Quest Directions etc. I called my phone company and they said it was an HP problem. I contacted HP. They no longer offer phone support but directed me to this website.
Can anyone help me?

does the pritner show up in the printers list when you try to print? do you get any error messages when you try to print? and what version of Internet Explorer are you using?

Unable to print from ipads etc

I have just bought a Photosmart 5520e and set it up last night. It worked perfectly with my laptop, two ipads and an iphone.Today it will only work with my laptop . My othedr devices find the printer but nothing happens when I click print. The printer says its on line and I have printed a web based document via my laptop Can anyone help please?

HP 7520 All in One "Unable to Communicate with Printer" msg

We have a HP all in one Photosmart 7520 printer- it is USB connected to a mac (OS Snow Leopard I believe). This was the original set up. When I moved back here I was able to set up a wireless network with the mac as the host computer (connecting the modem to a Linksys router). I was able to set up my windows 7 PC to this network and to the printer with no problems and was able to print to the printer for months. Now I am getting this error "Unable to communicate with Printer" and says it is unable to to be completed because the printer is unavailable or not connected.
The printer IS connected and on. My PC can see the printer listed in the control panel (I in fact uninstalled and reinstalled to see if that would fix the problem- it didn't). The only thing that has changed since I originally set this up was that I added my second PC (Windows XP) to the network but I don't think that's the cause of my print job requests failing to print.
I do know that the modem itself has been reset a couple of times due to the cable deciding to drop out a couple of times. Could this be the reason why?
What else can I look at to try to get my PC to communicate fully with the printer. I've tried printing from googlemaps as well as a short notepad file.

Let’s try this.
1. Verify in the printer that 'Auto Off' is disabled. Use the Embedded Web Server (EWS) by going to the
    printers IP address in your browser, Settings Tab/Auto Off. Or use the Printer Assistant, Printer Home
    Page (EWS).
2. Set a static IP in the printer outside the DHCP range of the router.
In the router:
3. Use a fixed wireless channel like 1,6 or 11, never 'auto', try channel 1 first then the rest.
4. Set router to 20Mhz only, or 145Mbps depending on router.
5. Always use WPA2-AES (Personal) encryption, but you can try ‘mixed’ mode.
6. For the routers security, disable WPS and never use it and disable UPnP so nobody can hack your
   system (if you want to know why, search the web).
7. If you have a dual band router (2.4Ghz and 5.0Ghz bands), make sure the SSID’s are NOT the same,
   they must be different for all bands, even for any Guest networks.
8. Save all settings. Power off both, wait 5 mins. Power on router wait 3 mins.
9. Power on printer and verify it reconnects to router.
Windows 7/8/8.1   Is Network Discovery on or off?
Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network and Sharing Center\Advanced sharing settings.
Under Home or Work (current profile) \ Network Discovery.
Select "Turn on network discovery" and save changes.
Now try.

Depending on the OS, you would download the Full Featured Software for that OS.Then making sure you have your USB cord ready to connect the two together, install the software and follow the instructions as it installs. Computer Won't Communicate with Wireless HP C6380 All-In -One

I own a HP C6380 All-In-One which I use with a desktop and laptops running Windows 7 and a netgear router.
Everything has been working fine until the other day when the unit just stopped printing jobs. Print jobs in the que just time out. There are no print errors indicated.
I re-did the network setup for the printer and it recognizes and connects to the router but the troubleshooting diagnostic says that the computer can't communicate with the printer.
What am I missing?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I recently purchased an HP Deskjet 3050A All-In-One J611 series printer and it is not compatible with the version of the operating system on my mac book pro. I am currently running on OS X 10.4.11 and the printer is compatible with v10.5 or higher. What can I do to update the operating system on my Mac Book Pro?

10.5 will be harder to find & more expensive, I think I'd go for 10.6

    * 512MB of memory (I say 1.5GB for PPC at least, 2-3GB minimum for IntelMacs)
