HP C7250 won't duplex print automatically

I have 8.1 operating system and since upgrading the only options that my Device settings offer under duplex printing is to either have Allow Manual Duplex Printing set to either off or on.  There is no option to allow automatic duplex printing.  How can I fix this>

The Device Settingss tab does not give me the option of Installing or uninstalling.  It only gives me the option to enable or disable Manual Duplex Printing under Installable Options.  My other computer gave me the option of installing automatic duplex printing so I tried this first, but as frustrating as it is, there is no option to install automatic.  I don't know if it has anything to do with windows 8 or 8.1

  • Using MacBook Pro with HP Officejet 4500 printer .. won't duplex print

I've tried everything to get the answer to this one... I have a new MacBook Pro but when I try to duplex print on the Officejet (which previously did two sided printing automatically if I wanted it) I don't have the option of printing two sided automatically.  It's been suggested that I go through a bunch of steps, basically doing odd pages then going back and doing even numbered page, totally manually.  I haven't had any luck contacting HP either.  Can anyone shed any light onto this?

    Hi,
Pleae download and run HP Print and Scan Doctor utility which should resolve most of printing issues.

  • Brother Printer won't duplex print A4

    Hi
I have a Brother laser printer HL-5150D printing from a 20" iMac using OSX 10.5.4 that has stopped printing duplex but apparently only when trying to print to A4 paper size. As A4 is my default size this is a problem for me.
If I set the paper size as US Letter in the print dialogue box the printer will duplex however the print area is reduced by about 15 - 20% which even when printing on actual A4 paper leaves a very large 3 - 4 cm empty border around the print area.
Any body have any ideas on how to get duplex printing on to A4 paper size without going through the US Letter route and ending up with a reduced size print image?

I just took a picture of my print layout, this should help - I hope.
This is the set-up under Leopard, which I now realize you are not running - in Tiger, under Pages etc. go to the bottom where it says Summary, open that, then click on the triangle next to Layout, and it will give you the option of two sided printing.

  • Duplex Printing option won't work on ePrint Mobile Driver for P1102W?

    Hi there,
I just set up my LaserJet P1102W for wireless printing, it's connected to my router so I don't have any problem in printing double side though my laptop as I can just use the printer like it's connected to my computer.
The problem is I am sharing the apartment with my friends and they all have their own router and own internet account, thus the only way for them to print though the printer will be either Google Cloud Print or ePrint. But when I install ePrint for them, the expected Duplex Printing option can't turn on, it simply won't allow me to select it. (as shown below)
I have done some search and all it comes up is some standardize answer that tells me to install ePrint Mobile Driver and the problem should be fixed, but this is the ePrint Mobile Driver, it still doesn't solve the issue, so please give me a solution, thanks a lot!

    Hello jkuang,
I understand that you are having problems with the ePrint Mobil Driver trying to print a duplexed job to your LaserJet P1102W.
Can you tell me, when you print double sided, are having to flip the pages manually or does the printer does this automatically for you?
The HP ePrint Mobile Driver supports printing on both sides through ePrint if the device itself supports printing on both sides automatically... i.e. the printer does the flipping of the page automatically (auto duplexing).  If the device does not support auto duplexing, then the eprint mobile driver will gray the "Print on Both Sides" feature out, indicating that the device does not support auto duplexing.
    Thank you,
    JPac

  • Automatic duplex printing not found only manual duplex

in the Data sheet  for theHP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M476 series, it clearly states in the spec sheet under:
Duplex print options [under MFP M476nw Manual (driver support provided)]  under MFP M476dw Automatic (standard)
However, when I choose to print ,say a Word doc or a multipage PDF with my MFP M476dw - the only option I have, when I hit Copies & Pages is Manual Duplex!!!

  • Automatic Duplex Printing not working on HP Color LaserJet 3600DN in Windows 7. It worked before.

I have an HP color laserjet 3600 DN on Windows 7.  This computer came w/ Windows Vista and a 3600DN driver was installed and the computer was upgraded to Windows 7.  The printer did automatic duplex printing.
At one point, my computer indicated that it could no longer find the printer.  In an effort to solve this problem, I uninstalled the printer. When I tried to reinstall the printer the computer could not find the driver. At that point I tried to download a windows 7 CLJ 3600 DN driver.  Since HP doesn't provide this driver for Windows 7, I tried to download the Windows Vista driver for 3600DN.
However, when I go to the appropriate webpage by following the links, only drivers for Color Laserjet 3600 are listed (no 3600DN drivers).
As far we can tell it only allows Manual Duplex printing (no automatic duplex printing).  Clicking the "Two Sided Duplex Printing" option is there but only works when the "print on both sides (Manual)" is set on the Finishing page.  If manual is turned off, then it becomes single sided.
Can I get a driver that will allow me to do automatic duplex printing on on my HP CLJ 3600 DN using Windows 7?

How did you replave the duplex belt? How to deassemble the backside of a officejet and click the new belt on? I can't see nor do it y self

Looks like I didn't do enough research as the HP site said it's available however upon further investigation only manual duplexing is available with drivers installed.

  • Automatic duplex printing with DeskJet 6980dt with Windows 7, MS Office 2010

What do I need to do in order for my DeskJet 6980dt to automatically duplex print without manually  inserting the paper?  Prior to changing my OS from XP to W-7 the printer would duplex print when I changed the "properties" but since installing W-7 "properties" does not provide me with that option.

Windows 7 is a supported operation system for Office 2010. At what exactly point will you get the specific error?
Is that a Click-To-Run version of Office 2010? By default, for MSI-based version of Office, when you upgrade existing Office 2007 to Office 2010, the earlier version of Office will be removed:

  • CP2025dn printer, automatic duplex printing

Recently, after a couple of updates, the CP2025dn printer only allows manual duplex printing.  Operating system is Windows 7.  Where do I get a driver supporting duplex printing or what do I need to do to turn on 'automatic' duplexing?
HP is starting to get under my hide!

Probbably because the M451nw model does not have a duplex unit - you'd need the M451dn or M451dw model for automatic duplexing. The best that can be done with the M451nw is manual duplexing (where odd sides are printed first, then the driver instructs you to take the printed pages and place them back in the input tray, then prints the even pages - or perhaps evens, then odds? ), provided that the driver in use supports this.

  • Printer won't duplex. It did before and still does on my PC.

My Canon IP4200 and IP4300 won't print in duplex model and there is no menu item or list box that lets me control it. It used to duplex under OS X 3 and stil does on my PC. I have the latest drivers installed.

Have you asked Canon? They write the drivers. Apple just distributes them.
Do you have the printing details showing? If there is a button that says "Show Details," click it.
    Are the options there, now?
While you have the most current drivers, are you sure it is set up to use them. Sometimes, you can get a generic driver or a Gutenprint driver selected instead of the Canon driver.
Are the options shown in this help article not available on your print dialog (it's old, but the options should be mostly similar)?

  • Automatic duplex printing under 64 bit Windows7 using Business Inkjet 1100

Is there no driver/setting that allows automatic duplex printing for business inkjet 1100 under 64 bit Win7? I have found the work-arounds (manual duplex printing) but that is an entirely unsatisfactory solution...if the printer happens to grab two sheets of paper on the second pass for a long document, the whole thing is spoiled.

    Hi,
Enter Control Panel > Devices and Printers,
Right click the printer icon, then click Priinter Properties.
    Click Device Settings.
Mark the Two-Sided Duplex Accessory as Installed and the Automatic Duplex print option will appear.

  • Auto duplex printing on MX922 won't double side print PDF's that my old MP560 did. what can I do?

My MP560 got the dreaded B200 code, meaning get a new printer. Hesitated to buy another Canon, but the MX922 had all the features I was looking for. Easy set up, but first problem was printing from the internet, 922 wanted to use paper in the top tray not the letter size in lower try. Had to save doc. as PDF then print that, 560 did this without any extra work. Auto duplex is way to complicated and haven't got it to work yet. 560 duplex print was selected from print dialog box. Anyone have any helpful suggestions. I am thinking of returning the printer.

This YouTube video solved the problem for me.

  • Laserjet 1020 won't STOP duplex printing

I used to switch from single to double sided printing and back using the printer options / finishing / document option menu.
Now my printer only does duplex printing, even though the print on both sides option is unselected.  I have removed and reinstalled printer driver with no change.
How can I get single sided printing back??

    Hello,
Thanks for the post.  This is an odd one, since you should have the manual duplex ability, but not fully auto.  I've included a link below with some information on how to set this up.  I might suggest that we try to reverse engineer this one and see we can resolve it that way.  Also, another thought here, do you have or have you used another printer on this machine, we may have the incorrect driver selected.
    Good Luck!
