HP CJL 4550 print error message instead a page of PDF document

Hi,
I have some problems with printing PDF, and I completly have no idea what's wrong.
Often printer print an error message like this:
ERROR: typecheck
OFFENDING COMMAND: image
STACK:
1.0
-mark-
-savelevel-
-mark-
-savelevel-
but I can print this document, when I print it to XPS file, and print this XPS file.
My printer is: HP Color LaserJet 4550
I am using: Windows 7 x64
My computer is connected with printer by HP JetDirect
I will be grateful for any hints.
Grzegorz

Hi GrzegorzP,
Although I'd like to help, I suspect your question would be better answered in the HP Enterprise Business Community,  as the Color LaserJet 4550/ 4600/ 4610/ 4650/ dn/ dtn/ hdn/ n Printer is a commercial model.
My technical expertise is with consumer products and software, I am sure the commercial folks would be happy to help if you re-post your question for them to answer. The HP Enterprise Business Community is an HP Forum designed for the Commercial and Enterprise customers to help one another. I am sure you will find some HP folks there to help too.
Click here to log into the commercial forum > HP Enterprise Business Community
I have taken a moment to find the support page for the CJL 4550, I hope this helps.
Best of luck.

  • Why is there suddenly an error message when trying to download pdf documents online: "cannot export document"

Why am I recently receiving an error message when trying to download pdf documents from the web? The message reads: "cannot export document" I've updated Adobe and all software updates are current. The first indication of a problem was when I opened a pdf that I thought downloaded, but the file is blank. Now that doesn't even happen. Any help would be tremendously appreciated! Thank you, KB

I know man what your saying. I should have written it down when it happened last night. I figured if anyone had had the same issue they might know the reason. I'll try doing a test recording today and see if the same issue arises. Meanwhile, if anyone has this happen to them please let me know. Thanks

  • Error message when deleting page from pdf

Each time I try to delete a page from my pdf, I get the error message "One or more pages are in use and cannot be deleted." What does this mean? The pdf is only open in Acrobat.

This error happens to me occasionally and I have never been able to determine why. Sometimes saving and reopening the file does help, but it doesn't seem to be related to email attachments.  Sometimes switching from the Page navigation bar to the Page Toolbar or vice versa helps.

  • Error message in an Adobe Reader PDF document

"There is a problem with Adobe Acrobat/Reader. If it is running, please exit and try again. (0:104)."
We have exited, reopened the file many times and have rebooted many time, but get same error.  The PDF file continues to refuse to download.  Any ideas on how to fix?
Also, Adobe Reader will not update to my laptop that is running Win7.

If you are seeing that when trying to download and view a PDF in a Browser, then you need to open the Adobe Reader program from the Applications folder and accept the license agreement. If you are getting that when trying to open the Adobe Reader application, then you should ask Adobe.

I want the detail error messages, so I can debug my problem. How to print error message in browser or find the message in some log file?

    Hi Kanaraja,
Thanks for your answer. I need to get certain information from the list. So, I use LIST_To_ASCII FM. However, may I know the ascii_tab should be type to what? And after this FM, do I have to use another FM to display the ascii list?

  • How can I print emails? Printing Error message that no printers are installed. (Printers are installed.)

When I click File > Print, I get a Printing Error message that no printers are installed. Printers are installed. When I click Yes to install a new printer, I receive a new error message that "Windows can't open Add Printer / The local print spooler service is not running. Please restart the spooler or restart the machine." I updated to the new version of Thunderbird 24.6.0. Using Windows 8. I restarted the machine. I confirmed printers are installed using Control Panel. I do not see any way to restart a print spooler. How can I fix this? Thanks.

The print spooler is a windows service and is required to print. I would hazard a guess you can not print with any application.
What I am saying is I think your windows instalation has a problem, not Thunderbird.

  • SAAJ0537: Invalid Content-Type. Could be an error message instead of a SOAP

    Hi,
At present i am using JCAPS version 5.1.1
    com.sun.xml.messaging.saaj.SOAPExceptionImpl: Invalid Content-
Type:text/html. Is this an error message instead of a SOAP response?
I got above error message while invoking the webservice.
My intention is to get HttpRequest from user and based on the input from user, a web service should be invoked. For this i am using BusinessProcess[einsight]
In my BusinessProcess, i have HttpServer processRequest service,
to receive HTTP requests and then i am passing the value of parameter received from http[As String] to next partner which is responsible for invoking a webservice.[Used a wsdl in client mode]
I am able to get http request successfully , but i got error while invoking web service.
Please let me know, what to do for rectifying error.

Although this is an aged topic, this is plaguing our development efforts currently. I have successfully created a webservice that can be executed externally using the generated wsdl but I am unable to get a JCD to execute the WS without getting the following error:

Hi - Did you clean the contacts in the printer (carriage) as well?  If not, try that to see if that resolves the problem - Step 5 in this document.
If that doesn't resolve the problem, the next step is to replace the cartridges (one at a time, in case only one of them is bad).
    Hope that helps.

  • L_TO_CREATE_TR displays the error message instead of returning !!

    Hi All,
The FM L_TO_CREATE_TR is displaying error message instead of returning error/raising exception, as a result the program terminates there, and we are not able to capture the error, and process other items in the loop.
    MESSAGE ID SY-MSGID TYPE SY-MSGTY NUMBER SY-MSGNO
                WITH SY-MSGV1 SY-MSGV2 SY-MSGV3 SY-MSGV4.
The above code in line 142 of Include - LL03BF1A, displays the message as Error, if message type is E. Whenever we try to change the SY-MSGTY to I in debug mode, the control again comes to the same point, with same ERROR message, infinitely!!
An example error message is 'Available quantity in bin is zero'.
Please provide a solution for the above issue.
    Thanks,
    Prabhakar

    Hi All,
We have solved the issue, by adding an exception ERROR_MESSAGE before OTHERS, while calling the std. FM L_TO_CREATE_TR.
For the MESSAGE statement(for msg type E & A) without RAISING clause, the FM will be forced to raise the exception ERROR_MESSAGE. The details of the message can be read from the system parameters(SY).

The following message is displayed when sending any file to the above printer.
     "hpmns115.dll has stopped working"

    Hi jwnova142 ,
     Welcome to the HP Forums.
I see that you are having an issue with a Paper Size Error when attempting to print.
First off, please make sure that you have the printer power cable connected directly to a wall outlet and not a power bar/strip. Here is a document that uses a LaserJet printer as an example but it is meant for HP products in general. Please click on the following link that explains the Issues when Connected to an Uninterruptible Power Supply/Power Strip/Surge Protector.
I have also located a document that deals with the 'Paper Mismatch,' or 'Paper Size Mismatch' Error Message Displays When Printing.
If the troubleshooting does not help resolve your issue, I would then suggest calling HP's Technical Support to see about further options for you. If you are calling within North America, the number is 1-800-474-6836 and for all other regions, click here: click here.
    Thanks for your time.

I'm getting a "printer error" message when I try to print a document with a lot of scans in it. Any suggestions?

OK, I tried a few things, and I do not understand the results.
    1) I opened the document in Preview, and it would only recognize the three initial pages which I typed using the Pages App. It did not recognize the bulk of the text which I copied from Appleworks 6. It also did not recognize any of the scans.
    2) I tried opening a pdf in Preview, and it would only recognize the scans. (No Text!)
    3) I tried copying everything (select all, and command-c) in Pages, and then opened a blank Pages doc, and typed Command-v. This got me all of the text, but none of the scans!
    4) I was worried that my Pages app might be corrupted, but I successfully converted a similar 78-page document with copied materials from Appleworks 6 and similar scans, ant this worked perfectly.
My conclusion is that my file must be corrupted. Is there any way to check this? shabda88

    Hi @itsalex,
What type of bar code are you printing, and from what program? Just a thought, what if you print the barcode as an image, if you are not already? Try File>Print> Advanced> Print as Image> print.
If the issue persists, let's reset the printing system and repair the disk permissions; doing so may resolve the issue.
    Reset Printing System
Click the Apple icon ( ), and then click System Preferences.
In the Hardware section, click Print & Fax/Scan. The Print & Fax/Scan dialog box opens.
Right-click (or Ctrl +click) in the left panel, and then click Reset printing system…
Click OK to confirm the reset.
Type the correct Name and Password.
Click OK to reset the printing system. The Print & Fax dialog box shows no printer selected
Note: This will remove all printers in the print and Fax/Scan, any printer removed can be re-added later by clicking the plus (+) symbol.
    Repair Disk Permissions
On the Dock, click Applications, and then click Utilities.
    Double-click Disk Utility.
Highlight your hard drive/partition on the left (by default this is "Macintosh HD").
Click the Repair Disk Permissions button at the bottom of the window.
Once the repair is complete, restart the computer and add the printer back.
When you add the printer, please ensure you are using the HP driver.
Select Add other Printer or Scanner
Select the printer you are adding and next to 'Use' you can select the printer drive. In the screenshot below, you will see Airprint is auto selected, you can change it to the HP driver though.
I look forward to hearing back from you.

  • Photosmart 6510 Printer error message 0xc19a0003.

I have a Photosmart 6510 Printer error message 0xc19a0003. I have re-powered the printer but still get the error message Oxc19a0003. Suggestions to fix?
    Thanks!

You are correct, gksurgeon, the 5510 does not have a removable printhead. If you followed the steps in the document above, then the printer will need to be replaced.
If you are still in warranty, HP may replace the printer at no cost to you. I'll link the information to get in touch with them below. The link will take you to a form to fill out. Once you fill it out and it is processed, it will give you the printers warranty information, a case number, and the phone number to call.
