Hp cm1312 MFP

Cannot scan legal size using the ADF. Cannot manually adjust to larger than A4. The "Document Feeder" option on the "HP Scan" window will not activate the "Scan First" button.
Using:
OS 10.9.4
HP v1.4.0 (6) driver
20090724 HP firmware
Was able to scan legal sized docs before. Any suggestions?

i am unable to UNINSTALL the "hp Color LaserJet CM1312 MFP Series" from Windows7 64bit OS installed on HP Notebook 8730w Mobile Workstation.
If i click the uninstall button using the original printer driver CD, nothing happens; no error messages either.

This seems to be a commercial product. For the best chance at finding a solution I would suggest posting in the forum for HP Business Support!

Can the printer CM1312 MFP print in double face (same paper) with booklet format, like Canon PIXMA 4850

I can't help with your color proplem -- don't know the printer -- but you can use a script to impose your booklet in a new file, then export that to PDF.
The two I use are by Dave Saunders. The first, http://pdsassoc.com/downloads/Buildbooklet.zip merely shuffles the pages in a new file. You then export that as spreads. It's very fast and easy, but cannot handle objects that cross the spine.
The second is at Dave's CS3 Booklet Script and works by placing pages into a new spread-size document. This one does do cross-spine objects, but neither one handles creep. It's been awhile since I used either, but I think bleeds may be an issue for the second script, too.
There are also imposing plugins for Acrobat...

How to get and install a full feature HP driver for CM1312 MFP series for Mac OS v10.8?

I am running a Mac OS X v10.8 (in Portuguese) and trying to use a HP CM1312 FMP printer, with full features (double-side printing). In the meantime, I have also downloaded the latest driver/firmware from HP but it does not detect the printer. On the other hand, the printer works fine (except for the full feature part)...
In addition, when I go on the system preferences, there is no option for the printer "driver". Just the other 2 ones...
Anyone can help? It would be really good to have the printer fully working with my Mac!

Hi and here is the first round of thanks!
So, I have:
Downloaded the Apple driver
Reset the printer on the system preferences > printers & scan / fax
Chosen to install the printer
The system has automatically chosen the "driver" for the printer (HP Laserjet CM1312 MFP)
Have confirmed and installed
Now it shows the possibility of a "manual duplex" (double-sided) and it allows it to be chosen. Though, it doesn't print that way but rather the normal way: 1 side / 1 page... On the other hand, the option "driver" is still not available on the system preferences > print & scan / fax > options & supplies. This probably means that it won't allow a double-sided printing... (just a guess)
Do you have further knowledge?

Is there a univeral printer driver for HP Color LaserJet CM1312 MFP on Windows 7 64 bit?

I had bought a HP Color LaserJet CM1312 Multifunction Printer last year - up to now I could print out via the computer of my doughter (Windows XP), but now this computer is bugged and I would like to be able to use also my own Windows 7 64 bit Computer. Unfortunately the "Full solution" does not work at all, while there also appears to be no Universal Printer Driver for my special printer. In other words: I can´t use the printer and I am upset (HP at its best?).
Is there any way to get a printer driver that does what it is supposed to do?

LaserJet CM1312 MFP faded text when printing.

Hi,
When using this CM1312 printer the text is faded in parts, mostly to the left hand side of the page but it is noticeable on the whole document when printing. It does this for all colours.
The ink toner cartridges have recently been changed and all are almost full. I have carried out all the cleaning checks and the diagnostic report check but this hasn't helped.
Any help with this problem would be great.

HP laserjet cm1312 MFP doesn't scan

I have almost completed the installation of my new multifunction printer from HP and it prints and copies beautifully, but it doesn't scan. When I get to the point of the setup where I choose either USB or Network connection it doesn't show the printer when I choose USB. It's weird since it can already print... I've downloaded and installed the newest drivers and updates from both HP and Apple but it still doesn't find/list the printer when I attempt to set it up.
I'm really lost, so I'm hoping someone has an answer to my problem!

HP Color Laser Jet CM1312 MFP

Hi, I need to know if I can connect my new printer to my computer with an ethernet line? is that what they mean by networking in the manual?

I believe they mean connecting the printer to a network (ie, router) with an Ethernet cable. Then all the computers that connect to your router (wired or wireless, does not matter) can use the printer and scanner.

The cm1312 MFP is not compatible with the ePrint Service.
The only compatible Commercial Laserjet products are CM4540, CP5520 and M4555 as you may find listed below:

Problem with scanning CM1312 on MAC Yosemite

hi,
Im not able to perform scanning on my Mac with Yosemite and CM1312 connected to wireless router.
Printing works fine but scanning is not possible.
When i press scan button on my printer it shows that there is no destination added and check the user manual
for instructions which i cannot find there.

I afraid that scanning is no longer supported on Yosemite, the latest full feature software was available for Lion (10.7) and that is not likely to wiork on Yosemite as expected.
You may follow this list from apple as a reference, only printing and faxing is supported for the HP Color LaserJet CM1312 MFP Series:

HP Color Laserjet CM1312nfi MFP cannot scan

I use a MacBook and my printer is an HP Color Laserjet CM1312nfi MFP. When doing the HP setup assitant I connect the printer to the MacBook with a USB cable but the assistant does not recognize the printer and I cannot carry on with the setup process. What do I need to do? My OSX version is 10.10.2

Scanning is no longer supported on Yosemite, only printing and faxing are available for the operating system as you may find listed by this chart for the HP Color LaserJet CM1312 MFP Series:

The HP setup assitant is not a part of the software provided for 10.10, it is intended for older verisons of the OS and therefore it does not work
You may try the 3rd party Vuescan scanning software which seems to support your scanner with no need for any other driver:

Problem with LaserJet CM1312nfi MFP : restart infinite loop

LaserJet CM1312 MFP seems to be stacked in an infinite reboot loop. While was sending a fax it rise the error of full memory and start the power cycling but never get to properly restart. After disconnected from the power source and be like that several days it start up properly and printing right. When we intended to use the fax function the same thing happened. Since then it never starts up.
First appear the blue screen with the HP logo and the progress bar, the motor inside is in function. The screen changes to the “black” screen and the ready & exclamation sign leds are blinking. At this point I can access the printers menu, but after several second restarts again. When I don’t touch the printer, after the black screen the leds remain in on and the display becomes white. Blink once and again starts the reboot.
Connected directy to PC (WinXP pro) through USB cable
Any suggestions ?

I have two acounts on my MacBook Pro 13" mid 2012 - my account (admin rights) and my son account (restricted rights). My Mavericks was installed about 1.5 months ago by clean install procedure.
I was shocked when I found that my son (under his restricted account) can interact my applications (under my admin account) just playing minecraft.
What do I mean...
Example:
- I'm working in my account with
- Son comes to me and switches into his account
- He is playing Minecraft 30 or 60 minutes in full screen mode
- I switch into my account
- I see that my ACTIVE application was interacted: if active app is uTorrent, it can be turned off (quited); if active app has text input, it can contain new text string like "Ццwвwwwdddddddwawwddddпmкwwwwыwwwwвa" or "57fddddddddddsawwwwwwwawaыццыцa"
I just don't feel safe when I switch my account to other account because of my apps / data can be destroyed.
Could you please help me to solve this problem or forward my description into Apple technical support? I don't know how to contact Apple Support...

Printing glitches on my archlinux server

Hello archers,
i've been having some problems with my archlinux server. Connected to the server is a HP Laserjet CM1312 printer via USB, server is shared via CUPS and Samba.
I've followed the Archwiki guide for CUPS and Samba for installing the printer.
The specific problem i'm having is printing from a Windows machine. After printing has begun, printing is first fine, but then it'll sometimes start to print gibberish like this (with PCL5): http://ompldr.org/vNzd2aw
I've yet to experience problems printing from my linux machine. I've tried shifting in between drivers on the Windows machine (PCL5, PCL6, Postscript)
Switching to a Postscript driver on the Windows machine prints fine, but after a while produces errors like this: http://ompldr.org/vNzd2dw

You may try using Sybase ASE; for long time (until 6.0), MS SQL Server was just Sybase with MS branding and even today differences are not so big (depending, of course, on specific application's needs). I have never tried such a setup, but connecting to MSSQL with Sybase client libraries works OK, maybe you'd have luck in opposite direction.
There is a document on migrating apps from MSSQL to ASE; I know this is not the case, but there are some valuable information about differences between those RDBMSs that may help you to decide whether there are chances to succeed or not.
