I was printing with this printer and finished the job. I sent a new job to the printer and it does not print. I printed a test page and it printed. I checked to make sure the printer was online and it was. The message to print displays in the control panel for the printer, but the printer does not print.

The printer you have does not support Apple Airprint so you need a work around .
The software I pointed you to, loads onto a PC or Apple mac and through your wifi picks up the print request from the ipad and allows you to print on the HP.The PC or Mac has to be running for this to work as does the wifi
You can download a trial which works for 7 days and if you are happy with it you can purchase the license for permanent use

Hp Color Laser Jet 5550dn Print Quality Issues

Good Afternoon,
I have a Hp Color Laser Jet 5550dn that has some print quality issue. I've attached a black and white scan, but the color is a light blue to blue that form the blotches. On the back of the page there are blue and pink streaks.
I can print more sample pages or print them in color, but anyone have any idea what could be going on here?

We are encountering a similar problem. The streaking is coming fromt the Cyan cartridge and has continued for over a year now, despite numerous cartridge changes and replacing the transfrer case. It is progressively getting worse and I have yet to find a solution to this problem online. Any help or guidance would be appreciated.

Color Laser Jet 2600n color fading

I installed new HP cartridges, but all colors are printing weak - magenta won't print at all. Removed all cartridges and gently shook - reinstalled with no success. Any ideas??? Thanks

Color Laser Jet CP2025 prints slowly from Photoshop

I have an HP Color LaserJet CP2025. From time to time, it prints from my Mac very slowly--usually from a Photoshop file. I understand that those are big files, but, it's taken 30 minutes for files smaller than 35M. Seems a bit unreasonable. Please help!

I understand you are experiencing slow printing from your Laserjet CP2025. Could you verify what type of Mac you have? Click here to find out: Finding your OS.
How is this printer connected? Wireless, USB or Ethernet.
Just to verify, are you only experiencing "slow printing" from just Photoshop File or other Files?
Usually, if this is only happening in one program, especially since this is a "Adobe based program", based on my experience in this field, Adobe usually takes a longer time to print. You are also printing big files.
However, I am going to recommend an HP document on Slow Printing Using a Mac. Make sure you have performed all the Apple updates on your computer.
You can try to uninstall/reinstall your software to see if this makes a difference.

HP Laser Jet 2600N - Printing PDF's

I am running Adobe Acrobat 9 on my Windows XP system. When I try to print a file it comes out blurred. I have printed the PDF on another printer and it prints okay. No clue as to what problem might be.

Try to remove each of the cartridges, one by one. Lift up the front cover on each of them, and see if there is excessive toner on the drum of any of them. If so, that particular cartridge may have failed. You can return it to the store that you purchased it from, or call HP support.

There is a good chance the printer is just getting auto IP internally..
Plug it into your TC. And then set to dhcp via the controls on the printer.
If you know the name of the printer it should be immediately available to the network.. but anyway, you can find its IP by printing out the test page. That will also give you the network name.
Most later HP printers have web access to the print servers.. just type the ip into your browser and see if it comes up.
From the Mac, you should then be able to set it up via the printer preferences. Most HP will just appear.. but if not you should perhaps delete the local version and then check again for network printers.

Any idea why I can't print using Photoshop Elements 13 and an HP Color Laser Jet printer?

Windows 7 with Photoshop Elements 13 - Recently purchased Elements 13 and haven't been able to print! I have an HP Color Laser Jet CMI1312nfi MFP and printed fine last year with a trial version of Elements 12. I keep getting errors saying "the saved print information is an incompatible version. It has been set to default values" as well as "default printer could not be opened." I downloaded an update to the driver for the printer today but still no luck. Any other ideas?

I ended up reinstalling the drivers for the Canon from the original CD and that took care of it. Normally I can just copy the PPDs for our particular printers to the PPD folder in the Library/Printers/PPDs folder and it works fine, but for some reason this machine decided it needed everything reinstalled. It's working now.

Mac Lion OS print driver for hp color laser jet 1600 & business inkjet 2200

I just brought a Macbook Air (13in) with the new OS Lion. I however have a HP Color Laserjet 1600 and Business Inkjet 2200 that I love, but can't find a printer driver for either. So, my questions are, does anyone know if:
1) there is going to be a mac lion os print driver for hp color laser jet 1600 & Business Inkjet 2200; or
2) is there another way to print to them (i.e., the 2200 uses HPA instead of PS and the 1600 uses PCL)?

Any suggestions re correct driver for windows 7 and HP 4600dn?

I have the HP color laser jet CP1215 and it seems to have frozen. I have tried unplugging and replugging the printer as well as just turning it on and off. I was able to delete some of the documents in the queue but there is one that I cannot delete and it is freezing the printer.

Hi Everyone,
Every time we print from the printer we get a faint line across the headed of the page about one inch from the top. The line appears even when we "print" a blank page. The line appease on both sides of the page when printing single or double sided. It seems to fade when we print a lot of pages. We have changed the toner and cleaned the Fuser Input.
Any help would be great!

When powering up the HP 4600n color laser jet printer, it stops at 64mb************* What does this mean

It sounds like it may be an issue with the memory module, have you tried doing a hard reset on the printer ?

New Color Laser Jet CP2025 Running EXTREMELY slow on network

We just purchased a Color Laser Jet CP2025 Running EXTREMELY slow on our network!!

You can see if it is a network problem by seeing how resoponsive the EWS is- type the IP address of the printer into a web browser and see if the screen refreshes quickly as is should.
Then see if it is a file problem- try printing a simple text file from notepad.
Not sure which driver you are using, but I have the bes tluck with PCL- download the latest from the web. If you are already using PCL, you could try the postscript driver.

It's now printing one page as opposed to many, but it still has the jargon on top of the page as depicted in my original post?
From this info you advised, it does suggest, does it not, that the HP Laser Jet 6p is supported.

The driver is delivered through Windows Update as described here.
You could also use the Windows 7 driver finder tool at http://www.hp.com/go/tools.
If you do not have a parallel port on your Windows 7 machine you may need a USB-parallel converter cable. The models mentioned in the posts tagged here have been verified by users to work in Windows 7.

Mac OSx 10.8.5 and HP laser jet 2100M printer w/ driver version 19.8--Doesn't print!

I've got a macbook pro with Mac OSx 10.8.5. I've successfully printed with my HP Laser jet 2100M printer until recently. The driver version is 19.8. I don't know what changed but about a month ago the printer says "printing--connected to printer" but it never prints. What do I need to do to get my printer and my macbook to communicate again and start printing? I also have a mac mini desktop running on mac osx 10.7.5 and it doesn't talk to the HP Laser jet 2100M either (also driver 19.8.Please, can you tell me how configure so these macs will be able to print to my printer?

I have had a similar issue with my HP LaserJet 1320 printer on OS X 10.8. On certain PDF files (only those that I have tested so far), the data will send fine from the computer (and the job goes away) but the printer balks and drops the print job on its end. It's only when I save it as an image in Preview and then print will it work (advice from this forum post). However, when I updated the driver from 19.8 to 19.13 (in the Apple Software Update), it seemed to fix it. Do you know what changed between 19.8 to 19.13?
