Hp designjet 800 error code 86:01

My HP DesignJet 800-42 initializes properly and goes to ready sate, but when trying to plot I receive the error message "86:01 may be paper jam, ope lid, turm off, clear, and turn back on" I have moved paper in and out of th epaper path, and blown it down to no avail. Any other thoughts out there? Thanks

90% of the time this error is caused by 1 of 3 things.  First you have to make sure the complete path of the carriage is smooth all the way from the right to the left.  To test turn the plotter on and when the carriage moves out from the service station, unplug the power so you can now move the carriage using the belt by hand.  Move it using the belt and see if the action is smooth and free the complete width of the plotter.  If it is not smooth then you will want to look at the conditon of the belt to see if it is starting to fall apart. If the belt is good but not smooth, then you will want to lubricate the center rail with synthetic oil lightly.   If necessary use a flashlight to shine in both ends to get a better look as you move the carriage.  The second item is the encoder strip.  Make sure it is clean, especially on the right side.  To clean use a damp cloth and GENTLY move the cloth over the top part which are the lines the carriage reads to position itself in the correct spot for printing.  Do not rub to hard as lines are known to disappear and a replacment encoder strip will then be necessary. Third you have to make sure there is nothing in the service station on the right side impeding the movement of the carriage when it moves to the left to start printing.   Of the 90%, 90% of the time the belt is in need of changing.  You can also get a better observation of what is happening by opening the center cover and sticking a wad of paper in the cover open switch opening on the right side.  Hope some of this helps.

  • Lumia 800 & Error code 80180048

Having waited patiently for EE/Orange in the UK to come up with the 7.8 update for my Lumia 800, there was great rejoicing when Zune finaly showed it as available - then gloom as the update only gets so far before throwing up an 80180048 Error Code.  I've tried a hard reset but still the same problem, and also tried it on a different PC (both Windows 7). Any suggestions please?

    Hi odseybod,
Thank you for posting and welcome to the forum.
Provided the error code, you can try these troubleshooting steps for us to resolve the issue. Before we begin, please see IMPORTANT NOTES.
    • DO NOT use the Windows Phone Support Tool if your phone's operating system (OS) version is 7.0.7390.0 or higher.
Note: To find out which version of the operating system your phone has: On Start, flick left to the App list, tap Settings > About > More info. Look for the number next to "OS version".
    • Zune software version 4.8 or later versions are required for the latest version of the Windows Phone Support Tool.
To determine which version you have, open the Zune software on your computer and then click: Settings (top of screen) > Software (upper-left corner) > General (left column) > About Zune. Look for the number next to "Version".
The following steps show how to download the Windows Support Tool and use it to resolve your installation issues.
    1. Begin by reinstalling the Zune software. To automatically remove and replace your Zune software, a Fix It tool is available:
You may be able to resolve this problem automatically. Click the Fix this problem link. Then, click Run in the File Download dialog box and follow the steps in this wizard.
    Fix this problem
    Microsoft Fix it 50577
    Notes:
    • This wizard may be in English only; however, the automatic fix also works for other language versions of Windows.
    • If you are not on the computer that has the problem, you can save the automatic fix to a flash drive or to a CD so that you can run it on the computer that has the problem.
    2. You may have to update your computer:
                  a. Visit the following Microsoft website: http://update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate
                  b. If you have not previously done this, click to "opt in" for Microsoft Updates.
                  c. Click Check for updates.
    3. Unplug the USB cable from the phone.
    4. Download the Windows Phone Support Tool from the Microsoft Download Center:
               • If you have a 32-bit system, download the WPSupportToolv2-x86.msi package.
               • If you have a 64-bit system, download the WPSupportToolv2-amd64.msi package.
Note:  If you're not sure whether you have a 32-bit or 64-bit system, read the following Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
827218 How to determine whether a computer is running a 32-bit version or 64-bit version of the Windows operating system.
    5. Complete the online steps to install the Windows Phone Support Tool.
    6. When you're finished, click Start, point to All Programs, and then from the list of programs, click Windows Phone Support Tool.
    7. Restart your phone: Press and hold the Power button until you see Slide down to power off, then flick down. After it’s off, press the Power button again to turn on your phone again.
    8. As soon as the phone turns on, press and hold the Camera button until the connect-to-PC screen appears (shown at the end of this step). It may take a few moments for this to appear. As soon as the screen appears, release the Camera button .
    9. Reconnect your phone by using the USB cable that was included with your phone. Your phone will be detected by your computer and the Zune software may automatically start. This process frequently takes several minutes.
Important: If the Zune software DOES start, close the program.
    10. In the Windows Phone Support Tool, click the Recover button.
    11. The Windows Phone Support Tool will install an update that fixes the problem and restarts your phone. If your phone is locked, enter your password when you are prompted.
Note: If you receive an error after you click the Recover button, repeat steps 1-4 to make sure that you have the most recent versions of the Windows Phone Support Tool and the Zune software before trying again.
    12. When you see "The device has been updated" text, located at the bottom of the screen, close the Windows Phone Support Tool and disconnect your phone.
13.Reconnect your phone to the computer by using the USB cable included with your phone and install the latest Windows Phone update. To do this, click Settings, Phone, and then Update.
If the steps in this article did not resolve the issue, see the following Microsoft Knowledge Base article for more troubleshooting information:

  • Designjet 800 - error 86.01

We've been having a problem lately with our plotter giving us the 86.01 error. Ive combed through various forum posts and have tried every suggestion I found to fix this problem: Cleaning and lubricating the Slide Rod, cleaning the encoder strip, checking the belts, clean out paper, etc, etc. Nothing has worked.
A difference between the problem we've been having and what every other post i've read has said is that we are only recieving the 86.01 error when our plotter has finished actually printing and is cutting the sheet from the rest of the paper roll. The cutter will cut through about a quarter of the sheet and then stop. We just replaced the cutter assembly, believeing that maybe the cutter just got too dull, but still are recieving the error.
Any ideas on how to fix this??

  • Error code OX 800 200 22

Attempt to burn a DVD and get this error code OX 800 200 22  "can't communicate with writer"

    Darndest thing:
I read through the one REALLY long thread on this and found a strange answer for the problem from a user in the UK, as I have it occuring on an MDD running X.4.11 with no problem until I started using the english-extended character set in language settings.
The Apple branded DVDRW stopped burning either DVD or CD, but the Pioneer DVDRW continued to have no problems, so I figured hardware problem. New hardware did NOT fix the issue. (AND I do NOT like that I had to buy a SATA drive whose data cable connection will NOT line up with the exisiting DVD drive - can NOT use both in the same drive carrier with the factory cable.)
WHAT DID work, at least now, this instant in time, for me:
AS noted in the UK posting - go to preferences international - languages - turn off all but english - set sorting order back to standard from english.
I touched NOTHING else, however I did a reboot - and sucessfully burned a nearly completely full DVD-R through "burn" and then through finder - not a problem, this time. Prior attempts last night were complete and total failures. The console Crash Reporter for Disc Recording read like this at the last failure:
    Finder: IDE 16X: SCSITask 1025.888916 CDB: Write (10), block: 0, count: 64 failed with service response = 1 (SERVICE_DELIVERY_OR_TARGET_FAILURE), status = 1 (TaskTimeoutOccurred)
    Finder: Retry #1
Finder: Burn failed, Thu Jul 25 01:36:26 2013
Finder: Burn sense: 6/29/00 Unit Attention, Power on, reset or bus device reset occurred
Finder: Burn error: 0x80020022 The device failed to respond properly, unable to recover or retry.
NOT knowing exactly what the SCSI error message means - I am still reading through the SCSI users manual for that answer - but the fact that the error went away for two different burn sessions makes me think that the mysterious issue IS purely a software related issue with the interpretation of the file and disk names and the international preferences somehow.

  • Error code 801812E0 in reset process - Lumia 800

I received notification of the most recent firmware update, so inevitably I chose to upgrade. I connected it to my computer and ran the update and things seemed fine until I tried to text somebody and it would kick me back to the main messages menu, or if I would try responding to an email, it would kick me back to the email menu. I even tried turning on wi-fi and it would again just kick me back to settings>system.
    This is not ideal.
I tried chatting with support this morning and I was told to try resetting my phone via Zune. I tried this and received an error during the reset process while doing so -> 801812E0. My IMEI is XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX.  My current software version shows up as "Unexpected Data Value"
Where do I go from here?  I've had issues with upgrades before, but never with resetting.
    Thanks,
    Quintan

When i checked my Alert Log then i am getting the ora-600 error....
When i check metalink for this argument i found that its a bug in 91 &10gR2
Please suggest some solution of this problem.
Is it a serious issue of database.

If you kill the sessions using the tempfile, or restart the database you may be able to drop it. Or you could try to shrink the tempfile instead of drop.
Not sure why you are doing that though ? If the temp tablespace is full, check what is using the space, or add another tempfile to the tablespace. No I am not killing the sessions... But i just checked using following query that some users are using the temp Tablespace at that time. But i did not kill any session.
select 'alter system kill session '''||a.sid||','||a.serial#||''' immediate;'

    Hello @hobi12,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums!  I see you recently did an update to your HP Envy 120 and now the front panel is blue with an error code 'B88B514A'.
I would like you to start troubleshooting here: 'Problem with Printhead,' 'Printer Failure,' 'Ink System Failure,' or a '0x...' or a 'C2...' Error M...
'Because there are many variations of these 'Problem with Printhead,' 'Printer Failure,' or 'Ink System Failure' error messages and alphanumeric codes, we have provided a few guided steps to get you to the right troubleshooting document for your error. Select the statement that best describes your situation.'
I hope this helps, if you are still getting the error message, call our technical support at 800-474-6836 as it may be the printers hardware and you would still be covered by factory warranty. Hi MowGreen,
I'm sure you have guessed by the log pasted below, that the MS Safety Scanner did not find anything to correct on my computer.
I believe the first line is the version information you were requesting be included in the log.  Your help has been Mowst appreciated.
    Thanks, ZG

  • " can't be read or written. (Error code -36)".

I am trying to drop files onto a newly installed GoFlex network storage system, but keep getting "The Finder can’t complete the operation because some data in “” can’t be read or written. (Error code -36)". I have seen some discussion, and tried as suggested, but no luck yet. Any suggestions?

I've been fighting "error code -36" with my Drobo connected to my Mac Pro (12 core) over Firewire 800.  After hours of messing with it, I don't know for sure if I've solved the problem as I have only done cursory testing.  Time will tell.
However, my solution was to move the Firewire cable to the 2nd Firewire port on the Mac Pro.
It seems to be working, as the copy operations are able to get past the errors I was having. Time will tell.

  • HP Officejet Pro 8610 - Error Code: " 0xc19a0013" (missing or failed printhead)

I purchased the printer (HP Officejet Pro 8610 e-All-in-one printer) in January, 2015.  The printer functioned properly - copy, fax, and scan, until two days ago.  Now, it does not print at all.  Received an error code: "0xc19a0013" (Missing or Failed Printhead).  An expanded version of the error code reads:  "The Printhead appears to be missing, not detected, or incorrectly installed.  Error Code: 0xc19a0013.   The printer uses a removable printhead, HP Ink Cartridges 950 (black) and  951(cmy).  I have used HP Support Troubleshooting recommendations: all software and firmware for this printer is installed; the HP ink cartridges are not low or empty; removed the ink cartridges from the printhead and reinstalled them.
There are multible steps in the troubleshooting recommendation, but I stopped at removing the printhead.  Because of my technical inexperience, and there were too many ceveats (beware, caution, proper reinstallation, and etc.)  with removing the printhead that could cause greater problems.  So, I stopped at removing and cleaning the printhead.  Also, used the HP Printer Scan Doctor for assistance. The tool for cleaning the printhead doesn't work.   What troubles me most with the 0xc19a0013 error code is its explanation: The printhead appears to be missing, not detected, or incorrectly installed.  I can use all the help I can get to understand what is going on with the error code that I have received, and how to resolve the malfunctioning printer.

  • RECOVERY LOOP: (Error Code:0xc0000185) PC doesn't load my operating system windows 8.

    Hello,
About 3 weeks ago my just over a year new laptop took a fall onto the carpet from 4 feet above... my screen was cracked so I ordered a new one and put it in yesterday. Now, I am having problems. I start up my laptop, the HP logo with a timer circle is spinning below it, then it says " your Pc ran into a problem and needs to restart", it restarts and then it says, " Recovery- Your PC couldn't start properly. A required device isn't connected or can't be accessed. Error Code: 0xc0000185." With a bunch of other stuff written below it.. I have tried all the prompts possible. I did do a HP PC HARDWARE DIAGNOSTIC UEFI test, both the short and extended one. It says FAILED - Failure ID: GLXS3H-6MF76S-MFPWWJ-60S603, with the Product ID: C5E40UA#ABA then right below HARD DRIVE 1.
My lap top will not go into the windows screen now at all. I am guessing the fall my lap top took did some damage to the hard drive and that is the internal problem now. I did look at a video on how to take the hard drive out and I did unplug, remove battery, and take it out and took the controller board off, check to make sure nothing was lose or broken, and put back together and reinserted it into my laptop and I am still having the same loop as above happening.
    INFO about my laptop:
    -HP Pavilion G7-2247us Notebook 17.3"
    -Windows 8
    -750 GB Hard Drive
If you need any other information let me know and I will send it your way. I appreciate any help you give in advance.

  • HP Pavilion dv6 Vista Recovery - Physical memory dump w/ error code 0x000000F4 (and others)

    Hello Everyone,
This is my first time posting in the forums so I hope that I have chosen the appropriate area and will do my best to be brief but informative.
    Computer: HP Pavilion dv6000
    Operating System: Windows Vista.
For the past 6-8 months it has been unable to perform Windows Update citing that the most likely reason was a virus. I have tried numerous trouble shooting options when it was recommended that I perform a chkdsk. After initiating a chkdsk in Command Prompt, my computer restarted and had a black screen with no cursor. After watching this for 2 hours and realizing that none of the usual chkdsk progress or text was coming up I made the decision to force shut down.
When I rebooted, I was told to enter system recovery which I did and completed a system recovery from the hard drive. After the system recovery finished and the laptop restarted, I experience a Blue Screen of Death due to a physical memory dump. The error codes are STOP: 0x000000F4 (0x0000000000000003, 0xFFFFFA8006671040, 0xFFFFFA8006671278, 0xFFFFF80001D01DA0).
I am not able to boot in safe mode. In the start up repair, I am able to enter command prompt from which I started chkdsk again. Both chkdsk f/ and chkdsk r/ passed with no errors. Additionally, the computer passed both UEFI Hard Drive and Memory tests. I have system recovery CDs for the computer but they fail at 78% completion.
Please let me know if you have any questions or require anymore information. I would appreciate any and all advice!
    Thank you!

I have read your post on how there is an error message being displayed on your notebook, being a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD), and I would be happy to assist you in this matter!
Since you are having recovery issues with your system, I recommend following this document on Troubleshooting System Recovery Problems (Windows Vista). This should help you to successfully recover your Operating System.
