HP Deskjet 3050 All in One J610 - Failing to connect to network

Hello,
I own an HP Deskjet 3050 All in One J610 device.
It worked great for about a year, until one day it just stopped connecting wirelessly to my network.
I haven't changed anything in the network, so I really don't have a clue why this happenned.
The "Wireless" led keeps blinking and I can't figure out where to choose my network from. It asks for a PIN (??) when I go into Wireless Setup.

  • Printing problem with HP deskjet 3050 all in one J610 series

    I have a HP deskjet 3050 all in one J610 series which I am using with Windows Vista Version 6.0 (Build 6006: Service pack 2).  Connecting is by USB port.  I have not used the printer for some time, but have done all the maintence checks & it is good to go.  When I want to print a letter the only thing that gets printed is the email address which is coloured blue.  I think the problem is in the settings of the printer features.  I can print the letter in gray scale but this is not easy to read and not suitable for business dealings.
    I would appreciate help with this problem.  A definition of the terms used in the printer features might help me resolve it by my self.

    First I would like you to click here to download and run the Print and Scan Doctor > www.hp.com/go/tools- It was designed by HP to provide users with the troubleshooting and problem solving features needed to resolve many common problems experienced with HP print and scan products connected to Windows-based computers.
    What does the PSDR find? If you are still not getting black text, please continue here: Fixing Print Quality Problems for the HP Deskjet 3050 (J610) All-in-One Printer Series
    If after the troubleshooting has been done and you are still seeing the issue leave me with the following information:
    1. What is your current Operating system, Windows or Mac and which version?
    2. How is the printer connected, USB or Wireless?
    3. If you print a test page from the front panel do you see the same issue?

  • DESKJET 3050 All-in-one J610 wont do anything

    I have a Deskjet 3050 All-In-One J610 Series that won't do anything. I can't get it to print, scan, copy. I have unplugged the power while it was turned on trying to reset the machine but it did nothing for my problem. I know it is not an ink issue because the printer will print out the onboard game pages but that is all it will do. Anybody have any suggestions? Thank you

  • Deskjet 3050 All In One J610 won't scan

    Successfully downloaded HP Deskjet 3050 All In One J610 series to my MAC laptop. It will not scan, I hit scan button and it says Try From Computer. Cannot find scan option in laptop files.

  • Upgrade Deskjet 3050 all in one J610 to print Apple AirPrint?

    Anyone knows if you can upgrade Deskjet 3050 all-in-one j610 to print AirPrint from my Ipad?
    Or in a way to work around printing to this J-model from my Ipad?

    The Deskjet 3050 does not support AirPrint.  AirPrint requires firmware in the printer that understands the AirPrint format.

  • Printer prints off the wrong pages - HP Deskjet 3050 all-in-one J610 series

    I have a HP Desket 3050 all-in-one J610 and I am running Windows 7 64-bit.
    I'm trying to print off some pages, first through google chrome and then through adobe reader, and the printer prints off the wrong pages. Eg, I told it to print of pages 41-64 odd only and I got all of the even pages. Now, if I try to print anything off, I get the odd page below and the settings are set to 'print all pages'. It was working fine a week ago and nothing's changed since then.
    I tend to use fast draft paper quality as these are lectures notes and not particularly important, but I have tried the normal quality paper and it does the same thing.
    Could anybody help?

    I am having the same problem as Daviemj with HP Desktop D110.  Really tired of the time it takes to use this printer. Solution?   Does anyone know of a good 3 in 1 printer?

    My printer display is showing an error message: scanner failure, unable to copy or scan.  It seems very loud when I turn the printer on.  I am, however, able to print copies that are sent through my laptop.

  • Deskjet 3050 All-In-One J610 only prints blank pages

    Hi,
    All of a sudden, my printer stopped printing. The ink levels in the cartridges look fine in the HP utlity, and I did the self-cleaning steps, but when I print something, only a blank page comes out. There is some ink around the edge of the paper, though, but nothing on the actual page.
    Any idea how I can fix this?

    Cleaning the printheads is a great way to resolve print quality issues on the Deskjet 3050. On the cleaning page, does anything print on it?
    In this HP document: Fixing Ink Streaks, Faded Prints, and Other Common Print Quality Problems you will see the full HP suggested troubleshooting steps. I hope they are able to help get the printer working again.

  • Wireless connection lost with hp deskjet 3050 all in one j610 series

    wireless printer was set up and working for three months, went to print recently and wireless light flashing no longer connected to wireless, have tried everything can't get printer to connect to wireless and work, hp deskjet 3050 J610 series

    Please describe your wireless network.  What router?  What kind of encryption?  Did anything change regarding the router?

    How long do I have to wait for the printer to find the IP address? If I want to do it manually what are the 3 IP addresses?

    I would manually clean the contacts on the cartridges and inside the printer. That process is outlined for your model of printer in step three of this document here.  The rest of the document does not apply to your issue, but it does a great job on giving step by step instructions  on the manual cleaning process and lists the materials that one needs to use. The manual cleaning will help insure that build up on the contacts is not the cause of the print quality issue that you are having. I hope that this helps.

  • HP Deskjet 3050 All-in-One J610 series printer problem

    I can't get anything to print.  I removed the color cartridge and failed to replace it for several days.  The printer was not used during this time.  After replacing the cartridge,  I tried to print a document and  got a message stating no printer was installed.  I finally uninstalled the printer and reinstalled it.  It shows to be properly installed.  I am still unable to print.  What do I need to do now?

    I understand you are not able to print and on the computer and you had a message stating that the printer wasn't installed but you installed the printer software and still can't print.
    Try and print a hardware self test from the printer.
    Go to setup, printer report.
    I would download and run the Print and Scan Doctor to fix common printing and scanning
    problems.
    If you require further assistance please provide the following so I can assist you better.
    Did the self test print?
    What were the results of the Print and Scan Doctor? (did it print or scan, any error messages)

    Well what exactly changed?  New equipment?  New router?  New Gateway?  New modem?  Wired or wireless connection?  OS of computer?  Reinstalled the software?  Reinstalled the drivers?  Detail everything in order on what you are trying to do and where in the manual what steps you are following.
