HP Deskjet 3050 All-in-One Printer series - J6? what a load 0f rubbish,only one place for this the bin!
Purchased less than a year ago countless problems with wireless reinstaled more times than I can think and now paper jams so off to the bin, never to buy HP products again, being disabled is hard enough but having to going shopping for a new printer this I could do without. thank you HP.

I am sorry to hear that you are having that issue with the printer. If the printer is under a year old from the date of purchase, please call into HP Total care. The printer comes with a factory warranty that gives the owner free tech support on the product. Paper jams are a hardware issue. If all troubleshooting steps are done on the phone with the agent and the product is still not working. That agent who is assisting you will be able to give further options on what can be done. Printing problem with HP deskjet 3050 all in one J610 series

I have a HP deskjet 3050 all in one J610 series which I am using with Windows Vista Version 6.0 (Build 6006: Service pack 2). Connecting is by USB port. I have not used the printer for some time, but have done all the maintence checks & it is good to go. When I want to print a letter the only thing that gets printed is the email address which is coloured blue. I think the problem is in the settings of the printer features. I can print the letter in gray scale but this is not easy to read and not suitable for business dealings.
I would appreciate help with this problem. A definition of the terms used in the printer features might help me resolve it by my self.

If after the troubleshooting has been done and you are still seeing the issue leave me with the following information:
1. What is your current Operating system, Windows or Mac and which version?
2. How is the printer connected, USB or Wireless?
3. If you print a test page from the front panel do you see the same issue?

Unplug the USB cable. Now go to Start > All Programs > Hewlett-Packard > Deskjet 3050 > Add a Device. Run the program and choose Wireless as the installation type.
Follow the directions. It will ask you to connect a USB cable temporarily. Do not connect until it asks and remove it when it tells you.
Finally, when you are done, go to Control Panel > Devices & Printers and delete the USB instance of the printer so you don't get confused when printing.

All printing with colors screwed up. no error messages. print and scan doctor says all ok. Cannot open software, check ink levels, alignment - nothing, yet it prints (black), scans and copies just fine.

Printer prints off the wrong pages - HP Deskjet 3050 all-in-one J610 series

I have a HP Desket 3050 all-in-one J610 and I am running Windows 7 64-bit.
I'm trying to print off some pages, first through google chrome and then through adobe reader, and the printer prints off the wrong pages. Eg, I told it to print of pages 41-64 odd only and I got all of the even pages. Now, if I try to print anything off, I get the odd page below and the settings are set to 'print all pages'. It was working fine a week ago and nothing's changed since then.
I tend to use fast draft paper quality as these are lectures notes and not particularly important, but I have tried the normal quality paper and it does the same thing.
Could anybody help?

My hp wireless deskjet 3050 all in one printer won't recognize my laptop anymore

When I try to print from my HP Deskjet 3050 wireless printer nothing happens. However, I can print from my desktop which is also wireless with this printer. It has been fine for months, now all of a sudden it just doesn't seem to recognize my laptop. When I go to Troubleshoot HP, it says to contact my network administrator. I don't even know how to do that!! I know my wireless connection is on because it works with my other computer. I have tried turning everything off...rebooting everthing....and it still fails. Please hlep me! I did print a network configuration page which said that no problems were found. Also my router is a Cisco linksys E1000.

Your HP Deskjet 3050 is printing BLANK PAGES?
The printer ejects blank sheets of paper when printing. Some or all the printed pages might be partially blank or half printed. It can be the software that you are printing from or program. Sometimes it can be the actual print head needs cleaning or cartridges are low.
Here is a link that will provide you with steps that will get the issue resolved. In this document you will have different Operating Systems. (Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Mac OS X) Software.

See if you can print a self-test page or printer status report from the printer itself. If so, then it is a software or connection issue.
If you can print test page, try to use a different USB cable. Also, you can uninstall and re-install the software and drivers.
If you are NOT able to print a test page from the printer, try to clean the cartridges with lint free cloth and water.

wireless printer was set up and working for three months, went to print recently and wireless light flashing no longer connected to wireless, have tried everything can't get printer to connect to wireless and work, hp deskjet 3050 J610 series

How long do I have to wait for the printer to find the IP address? If I want to do it manually what are the 3 IP addresses?

I would manually clean the contacts on the cartridges and inside the printer. That process is outlined for your model of printer in step three of this document here. The rest of the document does not apply to your issue, but it does a great job on giving step by step instructions on the manual cleaning process and lists the materials that one needs to use. The manual cleaning will help insure that build up on the contacts is not the cause of the print quality issue that you are having. I hope that this helps.

Well what exactly changed? New equipment? New router? New Gateway? New modem? Wired or wireless connection? OS of computer? Reinstalled the software? Reinstalled the drivers? Detail everything in order on what you are trying to do and where in the manual what steps you are following.
