we had comcast internet and used the negear router to connect wifi. We just switched over to verizon fios and the wireless is not working.

Purchased less than a year ago countless problems with wireless reinstaled more times than I can think and now paper jams so off to the bin, never to buy HP products again, being disabled is hard enough but having to going shopping for a new printer this I could do without. thank you HP.

I am sorry to hear that you are having that issue with the printer. If the printer is under a year old from the date of purchase, please call into HP Total care. The printer comes with a factory warranty that gives the owner free tech support on the product. Paper jams are a hardware issue. If all troubleshooting steps are done on the phone with the agent and the product is still not working. That agent who is assisting you will be able to give further options on what can be done. HP Deskjet 1050 All-in-One Printer series - J410A not printing photos

Hi,
It's been months since I tried to fix the photo printing of my printer and until now it's still not fixed.
My problem is that I can't print photos via windows photo viewer. When I hit print, it shows a printer icon on my task bar and it disappears. I am using Windows 7.
Also, if I check on Device Settings tab of my printer properties, the photo tray is missing. See screenshot:
I tried printing using Paint and IE9 and it printed but my problem is that the photos are too dark.
So I have two problems here:
1) I cannnot print via windows photo gallery and my photo tray is missing.
2) Printing to other applications like Paint and IE9 produces very dark photos.
This happened after I updated my driver. I tried switching back to my old driver and it printed but the photos are too dark already. When the printer was still new using the old driver, I had no problems with my photos and they look all good. I updated my driver because the time came when I cannot see my ink levels with my old driver. I have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers and the problems still persist.
Please help!! I have wasted a lot of photo paper and ink by trial and error. T^T

I would like to add that I have never seen a photo tray option in the Device Settings of the Printer's Properties. I checked all of mine and some had the duplex option here but no mention of a photo tray even if the printer had one. But while you're in that section, you may want to change it from "Letter" to the photo size you are trying to print (4x6, 3x5 etc).
One problem I had with your question regarding the photo tray, I didn't know this printer had a photo tray. I will post a picture below of this printer and when you reply, let me know where exactly this photo tray is in case I am just not seeing it.
When printing from IE9 or Paint, the images come out dark but what about an image in a Word document? Does that come out too dark as well? Can you make a copy of a normal photo and it come out dark too?

Unplug the USB cable. Now go to Start > All Programs > Hewlett-Packard > Deskjet 3050 > Add a Device. Run the program and choose Wireless as the installation type.
Follow the directions. It will ask you to connect a USB cable temporarily. Do not connect until it asks and remove it when it tells you.
Finally, when you are done, go to Control Panel > Devices & Printers and delete the USB instance of the printer so you don't get confused when printing.

All printing with colors screwed up. no error messages. print and scan doctor says all ok. Cannot open software, check ink levels, alignment - nothing, yet it prints (black), scans and copies just fine.

Deskjet 3050A all-in-one J611 series will not allow printing from desktop with windows 8

Hello, I am trying to set up my fiances desktop to my HP DESKJET 3050A ALL-IN-ONE J611 series. It says it only supports other windows, windows 8 not being one of them. Both are wireless and I figured there has to be a way to download some software that I could install in order to hookup this computer. Please any help I could get would be appreciated.

My hp wireless deskjet 3050 all in one printer won't recognize my laptop anymore

When I try to print from my HP Deskjet 3050 wireless printer nothing happens. However, I can print from my desktop which is also wireless with this printer. It has been fine for months, now all of a sudden it just doesn't seem to recognize my laptop. When I go to Troubleshoot HP, it says to contact my network administrator. I don't even know how to do that!! I know my wireless connection is on because it works with my other computer. I have tried turning everything off...rebooting everthing....and it still fails. Please hlep me! I did print a network configuration page which said that no problems were found. Also my router is a Cisco linksys E1000.

Your HP Deskjet 3050 is printing BLANK PAGES?
The printer ejects blank sheets of paper when printing. Some or all the printed pages might be partially blank or half printed. It can be the software that you are printing from or program. Sometimes it can be the actual print head needs cleaning or cartridges are low.

See if you can print a self-test page or printer status report from the printer itself. If so, then it is a software or connection issue.
If you can print test page, try to use a different USB cable. Also, you can uninstall and re-install the software and drivers.
If you are NOT able to print a test page from the printer, try to clean the cartridges with lint free cloth and water.

HP Deskjet 3050 All-in-One Printer connected to pc, can't connect to laptop

I've been using this printer via USB for a while now and finally set it up wireless. It works fine on my pc (Windows 7), but I can't see it with my wife's laptop (Lenovo ThinkPad also Windows 7). I can look up the IP address in a browser on my pc and actually get into the printer, but when I do the same on the Thinkpad it just returns with a google search for the UP address.

I can also access the printer via IP on my Kindle HD, but not the laptop.

Fixing a Paper Jam - HP Deskjet 3050 All-in-One Printer

Paper jams occur a lot. Rollers can get dusty and form the paper to crumble. Pages move too quickly and cause a "paper jam".
Using the wrong paper could be an issue. A sensor in the printer can go bad, and make the error occur.

Paper jam can also cause your carriage to get stuck and will not move over to change the print cartridges out.

Deskjet 2540 all in one printer - does the scanning work with Mac OS Yosemite 10.10.1 ?

I was trying to scan a document using this new printer and my Mac OS Yosemite 10.10.1 and I cannot even find the page that allows me to scan since now it is all through the computer. Is this printer compatible with this operating system? and if so, what can I do to see the page where the file actually shows up to scan?

According to your printer's specifications and the Setup Poster, this printer can only be connected to a computer via a USB 2.0 printer cable connection. This printer does not have wireless capabilities.
