Hp Deskjet 3650 not working

hello.
i have a Hp Deskjet 3650 printer. It seems to be working fine, it shows up in my mac, i can chose it to print something... but then it does not work. I tried to make tests, check the ink level, all the options i had in the "utilities" and all of them weren't able to print. Different errors came from each option, the most common was 1101. I searched a lot, didn't manage to fix it. Does anyone know what's going on? I don't know if the previous owner had a mac or not, but i tried some of the installs i found.

I see that you are having some issues with the Draft Mode. Please go to the Colour tab, make sure the dot is in for Grayscale and then use Black ink only. Click Apply and then ok and then attempt to print.

Printer hp deskjet f4280 not working

I tried to use my hp deskjet f4280 on arch linux, but it does not work.
I have downloaded cups from the repo.
The cups demom is active.
The printer is connected to the usb port.
http://127.0.0.1:631/ enters the cups administration.
Find new printers finds the printer and I added it with the default options.
Print test page does not do anything.
Any ideas or hints. Thanks.

it sounds like you have the wrong driver installed, I had similar symptoms with an epson printer,
what drivers are you using? and try this, it might be what you are looking for
pacman -S foomatic-db-hpijs
this should contain a driver that will work for your printer.

HP deskjet 6122 not working after installing mavericks

I have recently updated my Macbook to Mavericks and now when I connect my computer via USB to my printer and try to print i receive an error thats says "Filter Failed" and it will not print. My printer is an HP deskjet 6122 and worked with mountain lion just fine. The printer works perfectly when i print things from my room mates Macbook that has not been updated to mavericks. Help! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

Try deleting the printer, restarting, and then adding it back in.

Windows XP and deskjet D4360 not working

I have and old version of Windows XP with no service packs and I cannot get my new deskjet D4360 to work. Has anyone else had this problem and been able to get around it. I have tried downloading the service packs but cannot.

Have Windows XP Home Edition SP2 and maybe-installed SP3 and Deskjet 1660 - printing ok for a few times then gave up completely - try the Microsoft website for downloads. Perhaps the HP e-mail help service?

Cisco 3650 not working with Cisco 8831 Conference IP phone

hi all,
i'm not a fan of 3650 switch as it's giving me problems.
the 3650 can CDP and HTTP to 8831 but CUCM says "not registered."
the 8831 works fine with 3560 and can register to our CUCM.
just want to know if 3650 supports 8831?
can't seem to see any docu or links.

I have the same issue, changed the 3650 IOS-XE to many versions with no luck.

Printer Deskjet F4480 not working

Hi,last year I bought a desk jet F4480 printer never work for me but scanner is fine. I have tried the troble shooting but still not printing.

Does the printer make copies correctly? Will the printer properly print a self test? (Turn the printer on, then press and hold the power button and the Cancel button for 10 seconds.) What is your operating system? How is the printer connected? Were the drivers properly installed? Are there any error messages?

Hp deskjet 3745 not working

WE've installed our printer and our laptop reads it...but it's not printing. Help?

There are HP and Gutenprint drivers available for this printer according to:

The version for the hp driver is 3.3.1,

though it doesn't appear listed as HP 932, as the Gutenprint driver does. Maybe try deleting the existing printer and re-adding it with the HP Deskjet Series 1.3 will help.

HP Deskjet F4480 Not Working With My iMac

Hello Everyone,
I am currently running Snow Leopard 10.6.2 and i have just bought a new HP Deskjet F4480 and set up up this morning and i am unable to install it and get printing on it. Basically i ran the installer for the first time and i go to Select Device and my printer was connected via USB to my iMac and the HP Installer window didn't pick it up so i checked the box that said My device is not listed then it took me to the Model page and it showed my printer device name there so i selected it and then hit the Continue button.
I fully went throughout the installer and installed all the HP Programs until i got to the Setup tab on the Installer i clicked Continue then it said Searching for your device, a table came up and my printer wasn't anywhere to be seen i had check it was plugged in and the USB was fully connected so i proceeded by clicking the My Device Is Not Listed check box. Once i clicked it my printer came up and then i clicked it and pressed Continue.
I received a message saying If Your Device is Not Listed, It is not supported by this installer blah blah blah and then i clicked the Quit button i have tried many options that i have heard such as going to Library>Printers and delete the HP folder i have tried that then i ran the Software Update but no lucky.
I have also went into Printers & Fax and the Deskjet F4480 is no where in there and i have check that the USB is fully connected and the power is on. I have ran out of ideas and i'm stuck, it would be great is any of you guys could assist me as i'm running a business and printing is a must.

I know that this might sound very obvious - but a friend of mine had the same problem that you describe and called me in for a consult. I discovered that the power cord for the printer was not plugged in snugly - this prevented the printer from being turned-on and online. If this occurs the computer can not recognize that the printer is connected to the USB.

Hp Deskjet 3822 not working after cartridge replacement.

Since replacing the ink cartridge of my Hp Deskjet 3822.... I have been getting lot's of blinking lights... and no printing.
Have tried turning it off and the pc several times with and without the mains. Have re-installed the software but still no result.
Any advice as to what I can do???

Try deleting the printer, restarting, and then adding it back in.

Scanner not working hp deskjet 1510 all in one

Hi.. i have hp deskjet 1510 all in one printer, at first all are working so well. but after 3 days scanner is not working. Everytime i try to scan "hp series not found" will appear. I also tried the print and scan doctor but it shows Hp twain scan error. I dont know whats the problem. i tried to uninstall and install it again using the installation cd and so with the the software and driver provided by hp but still not working. Pls help me to fix this one. Thank you...

Thank you for your reply! For further assistance I will need to know:
If the printer is able to make copies by itself. Copy Text or Mixed Documents.
If the power cable plugged into a surge protector, or directly to the wall outlet. Issues when Connected to an Uninterruptible Power Supply/Power Strip/Surge Protector. This applies to Inkjet printers as well.
In the meantime, please try our HP Print and Scan Doctor, and let me know what happens.

HP 3650 deskjet will not print in Windows 7

New pc w/ Windows 7. My HP deskjet 3650 will not print PDF, Quicken, Website selections, etc.
HELP!

Did you install the driver as described here? Will the printer print a Windows test page or a file from Notepad? Do print jobs remain in the print queue? Are there any error messages?
Running the diagnostics at http://www/hp.com/go/tools may help resolve the issue.

Windows 8.1 and Deskjet 3050 J610 Software not working

New Desktop running WIndows 8.1 and the HP Deskjet 3050 J610 printer/scanner. I can load the drivers to make the printer work but the scanner software is not present.

Commentary
After installing the Full Feature Software, at least in many cases involving Windows 8.1 installs of the printer software, you should see a Printer Assistant shortcut on your Desktop. You can use the Printer Assistant to access the Scan to Document or Photo software package.
Although there is a scan program within the hierarchy of many of the Printer software folders, I have not seen an recent instance where the scan program is a stand-alone executable. In other words, you must call the Scan package from a parent program, even assuming you can find a "Scan" program in Bin or another similar folder.

HP deskjet D2300 series driver not working in windows 7

This procedure is much too complicated for an average user. You know that millions of Wondow XP users are switching to Windows 7. I' sure that most of them are facing similar problems. HP should come with a user friendly solution that solves the above issues. Don't you think?

Do you see any error messages with the installer? Or does it just close out and doesn't install?

Deskjet D4260 does not work with an ethernet printer server

I am attempting to attach a Deskjet D4260 printer to a home ethernet network using a StarTech PM1115U printer server. The printer has been connected to the network through a desktop computer, and worked perfectly. The printer server will also work with a different printer (Canon i550). However, it doesn't work with the D4260. The server's port will not go online, and it does not appear to recognize the printer.
This occurs regardless of OS (Windows XP, VIsta, 7, and 8 preview all don't work).
StarTech says there is no incompatibility issue with the server and host-based LIDL printers in general or the D4260 in particular. Does anyone know of any issues, or how to get the D4260 to work with this printer server?

Yes, that is how the instructions with the server tell you to install it. The server is connected to the network via ethernet cable and the printer to the server via USB. The server's instructions (as well as those given to me from StarTech support) say to install the printer as a local printer using a TCP/IP port using the server's IP address, which must be on the same subnet as the computer you are installing the printer on. All this I have done. There are a number of settings for the port. It can be raw or LPR and there are other options. I have attached it as instructed, and I have tried both raw and LPR, and tried various other settings. I was able to install a Canon i550 on the server with no difficulties. I was able to print to the printer, and the server, when I accessed it using either StarTech's server management software or a browser pointed to the IP address, showed the server's port on line and identified correctly the printer attached to it. When I attach the D4260, however, it shows the port off line and does not identify the printer. I got this server as a replacement for one that I bought without knowing that, according to its own documentation, it does not work with LIDL orinters. StarTech did not have any such warning, and the StarTech support people said that there should be no problem with a LIDL printer. They told me to consult HP support (to which this forum is the closest thing I can find). It looks to me as if either there is something about the printer that needs to be reset, or the server does not work with this printer. So far changing the driver does something, but not enough to print.
