HP deskjet 5520 series Software and Windows 8.1

Hi everyone.
I have an HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 5525 and a notebook with Win8.1 64 bits. I just downloaded and installed package DJ5520_1315-1.exe.
And everytime a double click the shortcut "HP Deskjet 5520 series" nothing happens. Looking at the properties of the shortcut I found ""C:\Program Files\HP\HP Deskjet 5520 series\Bin\HP Deskjet 5520 series.exe" -Start UDCDevicePage".
I can browse the printers page and see many seetings and options, as well.
Any ideas?

Try installing the patch below and check if that may help, although you describe a bit different behaviour that should help resolving a such:

I just upgraded my HP Pavilion DV6-6113cl Entertainment desktop PC to Windows 10 (32 bit or 64 bit? Unknown). My printer isn't working and as best I can tell, I need to download a new driver. If it's even compatible. I'm not finding where/how to do that. Any help is appreciated!

I have set more options in the Printer Properties for the AIRPORT attached printer.
Since color printing seems to not work properly, I have set the color options to use greyscale. This is not an ideal solution, but it atleast presents a printed page that is consistent.
I have also removed the bidirectional mode on the PORT tab in Printer Properties.
If ANYONE has had any good results with color printing using this printer on the AIRPORT EXTREME, please add some comments or suggestions! Thanks!

Help locate HP Deskjet 5900 series driver download (Windows 7)

Hello, when I plugged in my old printer to my laptop which has Windows 7 on it. It says that the driver wasn't found. I tried finding the driver download on here, but could only find one that was compatable with old versions of Windows can someone help me locate a windows 7 compatable version?

Help needed with 3rd party software and Windows XP on MacBook

My Brother embroidery software has stopped working on the XP side of my MacBook. After all kinds of uninstalling and installing with support from Brother, they decided the problem is not the software and I should "contact my computer company." Since this is really a Mac, would Apple be able to help me with a Windows issue? The genius bar said no, Microsoft says no, so what is the point of buying a using a dual platform machine if no one takes responsibility for helping? I'm very frustrated and could use help from someone who works on both platforms.

Desktop software and Windows xp

Hi, can anyone help me I am trying to download the drivers for the desktop software but it is not working. I am running windows xp sp3 32 bit. and a BB Torch 9800. I have uninstalled my previous BB desktop software and was hoping by installing a newer/different version that I might finally be able to sync my BB with my desktop.

Sadly, from merely "it is not working", there is little to deduce...you'd need to tell us exactly the steps you attempt and exactly the results of each step, including the exact and complete content of any error messages presented to you. But, from "it is not working", there really is no way to make any sort of guess that would help you.

It starts with a process for cleanly starting over, and there is some discussion, and there is also a post (15) with links to older Desktop Software versions, if those are needed. Note that this is not, by any means, guaranteed to work...but it has worked for many to resolve issues they are having.

HP 320-1030 WINDOWS 7 TOUCHSCREEN SOFTWARE AND WINDOWS 8 UPGRADE

Just purchased an hp 320-1030 touchscreen with windows 7 operating system. The advertisement was that you could upgrade to windows 8 for $15 and HP would refund the $15.00
When you read the upgrade information it states that HP Touchsmart applications are not compatible with Windows 8 and must be uninstalled before upgrade.
The Windows 7 touchscreen came with the following touchscreen applications:
HP Touchsmart 5.0
HP Touchsmart Music
HP Touchsmart Browser
HP Touchsmart Web Cam
Canvas
HP movie store powered by Roxio Now.
Is Windows 8 going to provide Replacement applications that will function as well ?
A Little help on staying with Windows 7 for an HP Windows 7 Touchscreen or upgrading for Windows 8.
If I knew about these limitiations I would have waited for a HP Windows 8 touchscreen.

I am happy to be able to link you to your HP TouchSmart 320-1030 Desktop PC Drivers and software here. You will find if you choose Windows 7 64-bit from the drop-down box and hit "NEXT" than scroll down you will see + Driver - Original and if you click on that you will find the drivers you are looking for.

Desktop software and windows 8

When I launch desktop software (6.0 bundle 2647), it does not find my Torch 9800. I am using Windows 8, 64 bit. How can I sync my Outlook with my Bberry??

Does anyone know if the following software's compatible or supported in the Windows 7 environment? Also if Internet Explorer 8 will or will not be an isssue?

HP Deskjet F4100 series printer and AIRPORT EXTREME

From browsing this forum, there seems to be a lot of people with printing problems. Add me to the list!
I have an HP Deskjet F4100 printer attached to the USB port of the AIRPORT EXTREME. Printing a very simple and small text document wirelessly from one of my Windows Vista Laptops works fine, but when I try to print a more complex page, the print spool shows a print error and restarts printing the page. This is the case for the Windows Test Print Page for example. I bought the AIRPORT EXTREME to provide wireless printing capabilities at home. When the printer is attached directly to the laptop, printing is fine. Thank you for your help.

What's with the itunes software and Windows? I get the quicklinks box on the side but not the store stuff. that's blank white.\

What's with the Itunes showing quicklinks box on the WIndows operating systems and all ? What's with the store not working on windows?

Perhaps try the iTunes Store loads partially or returns "Error 306" or "Error 10054" section in the Specific Conditions and Alert Messages: (Mac OS X / Windows) section of the following document:

Which can only be found under Windows 7 64 bit (doesnt show up in the windows 8 section but only shows firmware update 8.1). I installed it and system seems to work fine.

I have a new macbook pro and an HP Deskjet D2500 series printer and i can not figure out how to do double sided (duplex) printing! any help?

How you enable double-sided printing can depend on the applications from whick you wish to print. Example: if I print to my HP PhotoSmart from Safari, I get this print dialog box:
(Edit: OOPS! Note that I forgot to switch printers when i took the scene-shots, so ignore the "Brother" reference. It's should look the same for your HP.
Note the selection labled "Safari" near the bottom. If I change that form "safari to "Layout: I get this:
Note the option for two-sided printing appears for your selection. If I print from Word, the box is different:
The "Copies & Pages" option can be changed to "Layout" when you click it, again allowing the selection of two-sided printing.
If you tell us what applciaiton is vexing you, we may be able to give better-focused information.

Software and Drivers for an HP Scanjet 5590 with a 64 bit Windows 7 computer.

I thought that I had posted the following question but as I can't find it I will try again. I have been given a HP Scanjet 5590 scanner with no Software or Drivers for 64 bit Windows 7 computer and looking through the Web I saw some awful comments on the experiences of those using the software and drivers. I don’t want to make the same mistake so could anyone tell me how to go about obtain the correct software and drivers?

Here is the link for the software...
If you have the "p" model, backtrack a the link and reselect the proper model.
You want the "Full Feature" software.
Note that the download size is 315MB - plan accordingly if you have a slow connection...
While you are there, be sure to download the Print Doctor utiltity. (Do that first, it is tiny.) This may help later with installation and connection issues, if needed.)
