  • HP Deskjet all-in-one F4440 will not print

My HP Deskjet all-in-one- F4440 will not print.  I have put in a new color and a new black cartridge.  It clanks loudly when it moves back and forth.  Finally it stops and then pulls plain paper through as though printing on it - does this two or three times.  then it pulls plain paper halfway through and stops.  I have to tug and carefully pull halfway paper back out towards front to remove.

    Hi there,
Could you provide the community with a little more information to help narrow troubleshooting? Are there any error messages or flashing lights? What operating system are you using?

  • HT3669 hp deskjet all in one 4488 printer software downloaded from apple does not work

The printer software for HP Deskjet all in one F4488 downloaded from Apple support for OS 10.8.2 does not work. The problem is that the software is not available at the HP support site only.

Your apparently older Model needs to use Apple's "Print & Scan" which is found in Applications>System Prefernces>Print & Scan.  There you will follow the following instructions from the HP Support site to Scan, for instance:
Place the item that you want to scan on the scanner glass, or load it into the automatic document feeder (ADF) if your printer has one.
Click the Apple menu ( ), and then click System Preferences .
    Click Print & Scan ( ).
Click your printer in the left pane.
Click Scan , and then click Open Scanner .
Click Show Details . The details of the scan display, including options to change scan settings.Figure 4: Example of the Show Details scanning screen
Change any scan settings as necessary, and then click Scan .NOTE: Make sure to select either the Flatbed mode or the Document Feeder mode, depending on your printer and how you plan to scan.
    Hope this helps

  • DeskJet All in One printer cartridge compatibility

Hi there. I hope you can help me. So my dad gave me this wonderful printer, the DeskJet 2544 all in one. Unfortunately, the tri. Color cartridge ran out. I was about to shop online on the HP website but there was no 301 tri color CH562E like the one installed on mine. I was thinking if I can buy other cartridges that can be an alternative? For example, the deskjet 2540 all in one uses HP 61 cartridge. Can I order and use that?<br><br>Also, what is the difference of a deskjet all in one printer and a DESKJET INK ADVANTAGE all in one printer? Can I use cartridges from that?<br><br>Thank you. Looking forward for someone to help.

Was the printer purchased on one country but you are in another?  If so you will need to Contact HP to request a "Regionalization Reset". There should not be any charge for this, it is covered as part of the cartridge warranty. You will need to have access to your computer and printer while on the line with HP. You will also need to have a set of cartridges for the new region, once the reset is complete cartridges from the original region will no longer work.  HP's web page on the subject is here.
You can find the correct cartridges for your area from the HP SureSupply site.

  • Okay so i recorded a song but each part comes out as like take 1, i have 10 takes. how can i put them all together as one take, to make one song all in one take not small pieces of a song.

okay so i recorded a song but each part comes out as like take 1, i have 10 takes. how can i put them all together as one take, to make one song all in one take not small pieces of a song. like i hit record and sang the entire song but when i hit play it was in pieces not just one song like it was in ten takes. is there any way i can blend it all into one take, to make one clear song?

You're not very clear in stating your problem. Maybe it's terminology: "takes" in recording lingo (and in GB lingo) are different version of exactly the same part in a song, so you only want one of them in the end. Please tell us exactly what you did and what it is that you don't like.

  • HP Officejet 8600 all-in-one will not allow me to use features

ALCON - after installing Yosemite (well upgrading) my all-in-one is not functioning. I have gone to HP's website to no avail nothing that can help. I uninstalled the software restarted my computer and restarted the printer. Updated the firmware on printer yet nothing is working correctly. I cannot scan documents nor fax. I get a message from the printer saying that the printer cannot communicate with the computer. I also have the HP assistant installed on my mac and yet still the computer cannot communicate with the printer's scanner and vice versa. I am at a loss. Any feedback would be appreciated. I really need to scan some documents and get them sent out. I had to go to my PC as a last resort. Suggestions please?

I may have found a fix for this problem. For those who are using Mavericks or Yosemite: Uninstall the current printer driver and install the printer driver dated Oct 22, 2014 and then install a patch update. I will copy and paste the link. For some odd reason the drivers I had prior to upgrading the OS was not willing (I upgraded from Mountain Lion).

  • My HP Officejet 6500 E709a All-in-One will not print more than one copy at a time.

My HP Officejet 6500 E709a All-in-One will not print more than one copy at a time.  This is especially disconcerting at Christmas time when you're trying to get Christmas letters in the mail!  Any help?

The cyan portion of the printhead may be clogged.  I would suggest running the diagnostics shown here.  If three levels of cleaning of the printheads does not resolve the issue you may need a new printhead.

  • Installed HP Officejet 4100 All-in-one does not appear in Control Panel printer selection window.

My HP Officejet 4100 Series 'All-in One' DOES NOT APPEAR in the Control Panel window even after several re-installs. The diagnostics indicate that the 4100 is not connected and dos NOT point to any path for a solution.
Attempts to download a current Driver, ( or re-load the 4100 "software" ), WILL NOT work because the 'help' page states the driver already comes with the 4100 software and therefore does not provide for any download update, (driver or software) for the 4100 printer.
I have reinstalled from the original Disk for the 4100 and also attemped install with Windows Update requested driver. Nothing works.

    Hi there @Past77
    Welcome to the forums
I read your message about your Officejet 4100 not showing that it's connected, and that you have attempted to run the Windows Update to see if that would help get the printer working again. You are correct that this model does not have a downloadable driver for Windows Vista, so your best bet would be to try running the Print and Scan Doctor tool, to see if it can kick the printer into gear and have it functioning again.
If the tool does not work, I would then recommend looking in to a printer upgrade. Consider giving us a call to see what your options are with HP.

  • How to reset Deskjet All in one printer 2645 to its default setting?

how to reset Deskjet All in one printer 2645 to its default setting? So I can change the paper size.

We have difficulty in using the printer for "photocopy" purposes. This is because our printer doesn't have "specific options" for paper sizes. When copying, the only option default in our printer was : A4 plain, A4 photo & 4 x 6.. Our question is, how can we have the "specific options" for paper sizes ( legal, letter, or A4 size )? Do we need to "restore to defaults" our printer? Can you give us a step-by-step instructions to deal with our problem? Thanks.

    Hi,
Is the printer connected to your PC by USB or network?
By using USB connection, you may scan using the Windows Fax and Scan software integrated into your OS.
Scanning through a network connection unfortunately supported on Windows7 32 bit only, as you  may find listed within the About network scanning section below:

  • I'm using windows 7 with a hp deskjet 3059A e Printer All-in-One J611n not scanning pc not found

My Deskjet 3059A e printer all-in-one J611n was working fine til my pc crashed. Now I can't get it to scan. Says computer not found & it is switched on to my pc via usb cable.... Help

Hello @terezaferreira , Welcome to the forums
I read your post about the scanning problems and I am here to help you out.
I would first suggest you restart the computer completely, and power reset the printer:
Press the Power button to turn on the product.
With the product turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the product.
Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
    Wait at least 15 seconds.
Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the product.
If the product does not turn on by itself, press the Power button to turn it on.
Ensure the printer is plugged in directly to the wall outlet, avoiding power bars and surge protectors. This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help greatly.
Now with both the printer and PC powered on, run the Print and Scan Doctor from your computer and send me a screen shot of the results or write me back with the detailed results.
Try scanning from the HP Software on your computer, and also scan from the printer to your PC. Tell me if either ways worked and what happened!
    Have a great Tuesday

  • HP Deskjet All in ONe L7650 will not print black only --

Started doing this with previously working black cartridge, updated software--prints, but blank page comes out when set to black ink only; prints other colors.
Changed black print cartridge and still will not print black.  Diagnostic page prints other colors.
Printhead health shows good for all colors.

What brand of printer cartridges (not printhead) did you use the last time you changed them?  I don't know if it was because one or both of my printer cartrdiges went dry, but I put new cartridges in (not printhead) and it improved somewhat--I kept trying to clean the printheads but it seemed to never get resolved.
I refuse to have to buy new printheads.  I tried several cycles of "align printheads" "clean printheads" and never got a decent print out, but I did get to the point of all the colors printing although magenta printhead makes printing errors and so I never know what I am going to get with color anymore.
It seems to be at its worst when printing in "draft" but in normal or best (with more ink coming through) it seems better--the higher ink volume seems to cover some of the problems with the printheads.
So, I am justing using it "as is" and not replacing the printheads--because it is a waste and yes, could almost get a new printer for this cost.
I wish I had never gotten this All in One and just stuck with the old 970 csi and the old UMAX scanner, which was a better scanner, but thought I would "save some space" by getting this since it scans legal, which I needed.
Just keep trying to reseat the printheads (also trying to reclean them, which seems to make it worse) and keep printing out those "tools" alignment and cleaning procedures.
    But no help from HP.

  • Having problem with HP Deskjet All-in-One 3050

I am trying to help someone who was given a Compaq Presario C700 (running Vista) and a HP All-in-One 3050 by her son.  She doesn't understand how to use her computer, and it contains the remnants of things people have done to it trying to help her.
I believe her son set her up to use gmail by logging in the the gmail site and reading/writing her mail there.   She would like to print her mail on the printer, and we managed to do that, even printing attached photos,  but now printing doesn't work.   It prints a Gmail header and her email address in color, but the text of the message, which is in b/w doesn't get printed.  Print preview shows it as it should be.    I created a simple document in wordpad and tried to print it and the same thing happened, except in this case the page was completely blank.
On the other hand, when I printed her inbox at gmail.com using File>Print, it did print the titles of messages listed.
The printer is connected to the computer over the local wireless network.
Could this have something to do with the cartridge being used up?   Also, were that the case, wouldn't the printer  indicate that somehow.
Any suggestions about how to proceed would be helpful.

    Hello,
If you want to have the printer hooked up with a USB cable with printing option, then please try the below steps..
