HP Deskjet D1360 - Printing Very small in windows 7

I have downloaded the newest driver for "HP Deskjet D1360" in Windows 7. Before it I have used it in Windows xp Service Pack 2 without any page problem. But in Windows 7 I have selected A4 but after the printing it is smaller than A4 paper. And also letters are being small. How do I resolve this problem?

Please provide information about application/software being used for printing.
If you have print preview option, please check if the image appears as expected.

    Hello MartyTheArtist,
    May I know  you installed Basic Print Driver or Full Feature Software?
    I am not holding 7110 printer but I have access officejet 6700 and Photosmart 7510.
    Anyway, you should able to see the similar print options if you did install full feature software.
    When you print, under the print advance options, there is an option  called. "HP Real life Technologies".  You may on this option  and it will "automatically remove redeye in photographs and to automatically adjust high-contrast photos to reveal details that are otherwise lost in shadows. I have attached the screen shot for your reference."

    I am an amteur photographer and personally, I do prefer to do post processing jobs in Photoshop first and then use the printer just to print by choosing the apporopirate photopaper and using Best Mode.
    May be you might have differnet preferences way of doing it. I am just sharing my way of printing photos
    By the way, when you install Full Feature Software, you have the option to install HP Photo Creation Software which is very simple and easy to create greeting cards, photo books and many other things. Maybe you might give it a try if you have not tried.
    Kindly let us know if you have more queries
    Cheers,

  • EPrint printing very small

    I'm printing from Outlook 2010. When I print directly, I have no problem. If I send an email to print via ePrint, it prints very small. I think it's something with the driver (HP OfficeJet 7500). Does anyone have any suggestions?
    Thank you!

    Hi RenewHeather,
    ePrint only renders the job as it comes and it does not change the size of the fonts.  In order to print out the larger fonts, you should change the font size before printing (via the email app).

  • C3150 Printing very small

    I have a Photosmart C3150, with Win7 using Firefox. Just all of a sudden it started printing very small whenever I print anything from my email or from my banking or actually anything from the internet. Could someone please help me get this back to normal. I don't know what made this happen but it is totally driving me nuts. It is so small I can't hardly even read it. I am having to do a copy and paste everything into a word document and I don't want to have to do this everytime. Please Please help me!

    Hi
    Thanks for thinking along these lines but no is the answer. I found that printing from the preview screen would give this effect earlier on.
    If I choose file / print or use the print icon in the normal Writer page it just prints small.
    Has anyone else experienced this issue? Some how the printer is receiving instruction to print in this way but the print options dont appear to offer a solution. I have tried defaulting the settings but this has had no effect.

  • Messages print very small

    I have 3 e-mail accounts on my iMac and only one of the accounts prints in very small font. I have checked the settings on all three accounts and they are the same.
    I can't figure out what I am missing.
    Thanks!

    In Windows------hold down the Cntrl key and then tap the + key to enlarge the size of the font.  Use Cntrl - to decrease it or Cntrl 0 (zero) to return it to the default.

  • HP LaserJet P1006 Print very slow with Windows 8.1

    Hey @wmowafi,
    Welcome to the HP Support Forums!
    I understand that you're experiencing a slow printing issue on Windows 8.1 when printing to your HP Laserjet P1006 Printer. I would like to work with you today at resolving this issue. Now the only driver available for your product on Windows 8.1 is a hostbased plug and play basic generic driver. Therefore, there is limitations for what can be done for troubleshooting. As you stated, you have already attempted an uninstalled and reinstalled of the driver to no avail. I'm going to suggest some further steps and tools to resolve this issue for you.
    Step 1: Uninstall Your Printer:
    Disconnect your USB cable
    Click the following link: Fix problems that programs cannot be installed or uninstalled to access the Microsoft Uninstall Tool.
    Once the website opens, select Run Now on the right hand side
    Allow the Tool to run.
    When prompted choose Uninstall
    A list of programs should populate and you're looking for the Laserjet. It may appear as LJ P1000 series. Please select the Laserjet series and Uninstall it.
    If the Laserjet doesn't show in the list of programs than your Windows 8.1 computer does not see the Laserjet driver as properly installed.
    Step 2: Clear the Temp Files:
    Launch your Start screen by right clicking on the Windows icon on the bottom left of your screen or by select the Windows button on your keyboard located to the right of the Ctrl button.
    Once the Start screen launches, type the word Run
    Click on Run to launch it
    In the Run box type %temp% and select OK
    Once the Temp folder opens, hold down Ctrl + A at the same time on your keyboard and everything will highlight in the folder. Select 'Delete' on your keyboard. Don't worry, no files or folders on your actual computer will be removed during this process. If a file is still be used on your computer you will get a pop up to 'skip' the file
    Once the Temp folder is emptied of its files, close the window
    On your Desktop, right click on the Recycling Bin and left click on 'Empty Recycling Bin'
    Restart you computer
    Step 3: Reinstall the Laserjet P1006:
    Please keep your USB cable disconnected
    Click on the following link: HP LaserJet P1000-P1500 Hostbased Plug and Play Basic Driver
    The driver page for your product will now launch
    Select Download and allow the download to Run
    Once the download is complete an extraction will automatically run and once completed the installer will launch
    Run through the step-by-step on screen instructions.
    Please do not plug in your USB cable until prompted
    Ensure that your USB cable is plugged in from the rear of the printer directly to the computer. Avoid extenders or docking stations as they can cause printing and communication issues.
    Test printing!
    Please let me know if the steps I've provided resolve your issue. Good luck!

  • HP DeskJet 2510 Printer Driver conflict in Windows 7 64bit

    I have just changed my PC from Windows XP Home to a new machine running Windows 7 64bit. I installed the DeskJet 2510 printer from the CD/online and it was fine apart from a lot of errors in the Event Viewer:-
    "The print spooler failed to load a plug-in module C:\Windows\system32\spool\DRIVERS\x64\3\UNIDRVUI.DLL, error code 0xc1. See the event user data for context information."
    From looking on the web it appeared that the solution may be to reinstall the driver which I did, by uninstalling then completely reinstalling the Basic Device Software. Since reinstalling (several times now!) the HP Print & Scan Doctor is reporting a Printer Driver conflict and suggesting that uninstalling and reinstalling is necessary! As I havealready gone through this loop several times I am wondering if there is a bug somewhere.
    The Test Print page is fine and everything appears to work correctly apart from continuing error messages as above, up to 4 at a time, mainly when printing envelopes from MS Word.
    This question was solved.

    hhhuummmm....
    Maybe I have missed a step. Let's try opening the Device and printers, clicking on the printer so the Printer server Properties option appears, click server Printer server Properties, but then click back on the Device and Printers window. Delete the printer icon from here, then return to the Printer server Properties window and delete the driver.
    If this works I am sorry I didn't think of it sooner

  • Trying to print very small picture on HP C7280

    Hi,
    I am trying to print a picture of my son to go into a tiny frame mounted on a ring.  The problem is, the finished product needs to be about .6" x .75" and I don't see where I can go (if I can) to get the dimensions to print this small.  I have edited the photo so that it appears this small on my computer, but the smallest option I can get the printer to print is 3x 4.92, which is obviously way to large.  Any help is appreciated.
    Thank you!
    BG

    How you enable double-sided printing can depend on the applications from whick you wish to print. Example: if I print to my HP PhotoSmart  from Safari, I get this print dialog box:
    (Edit: OOPS! Note that I forgot to switch printers when i took the scene-shots, so ignore the "Brother" reference. It's should look the same for your HP.
    Note the selection labled "Safari" near the bottom. If I change that form "safari to "Layout: I get this:
    Note the option for two-sided printing appears for your selection. If I print from Word, the box is different:
    The "Copies & Pages" option can be changed to "Layout" when you click it, again allowing the selection of two-sided printing.
    If you tell us what applciaiton is vexing you, we may be able to give better-focused information.

      HP Deskjet 3520 ALL IN ONE & E-PRINTER I have had this printer about 1 year and have never got it to print out things(Some) where it can hardly be read. (I have to have a magnifyng glass to read some of it others fine. Can someone tell me how to fix these problems. This printer says 'ALL IN ONE e-Printer but it does not fax.

    Hi @mybeaugie
    I see you are trying to make the font larger on your printed output, but the small text is only happening when you print from programs aside from documents you create. If you are using Internet Explorer you can use this document; Text is Small When Printing from Internet Explorer. If however, you are using AOL you can following these instructions from this post, 'how do i make the text larger'.
    As you can see modifying the text size is going to depend on the program you are using. If you are not using Internet Explore or AOL, can you please post back with more detail. What Browser are you using and what Operating system do you have?  Mac or Windows?
    I understand you are also getting a communication error when you try scanning.  Running the Print and Scan Doctor might help. The HP Print and Scan Doctor is a free utility (tool) that helps to quickly resolve common printing, scanning and connectivity issues including but not limited to:

    Driver Check: Checks for missing or corrupt driver files.
    Device Manager: Checks for problems in Device Manager that would prevent printing.
    Device Online: Checks if the product has been paused or set to offline, and then sets the status back to online if necessary.

    Device Conflicts: Checks for conflicts with other drivers, such as other printer brands.
    Ink Issues: Checks the cartridges and ink levels for issues that affect print quality.
    Print Settings: Checks and adjusts the print quality settings.
    Test Print: Prints a test page for print quality evaluation, and provides options for cleaning and aligning the printhead if necessary.

  • Report Printing Very Small

    I'm trying to determine if this is a driver, .Delphi Prism, or report issue. We are using a Star TSP650 printer to print transaction receipts at a cash register. The report prints fine in the designer. However, when printing from Prism it comes out very tiny. I would need a magnify glass to read it. If I print to a different printer, it still comes out tiny.  All other reports print out as expected to other printers.
    I was first using the PrintToPrinter method but then was convinced that I had to use the RAS method of printing. Here is my code. This is from standalone exe that runs alongside a Delphi XE program which communicates via TCP messaging. The reportdocument is configured in a different method.
    method TReport.executeprint;
    var
      reportClientDoc : ISCDReportClientDocument;
      printController : PrintOutputController;
      printRptOptions : PrintReportOptionsClass;
    begin
       try
          reportClientDoc:=reportDocument.ReportClientDocument;
          SendTCPMessage('DONE');
          printController:=reportClientDoc.PrintOutputController;
          printRptOptions:=new PrintReportOptionsClass();
          printRptOptions.PrinterName:=sPrinter;
          printRptOptions.JobTitle:=sReportName;
          printController.printReport(printRptOptions);
         except on E:Exception do
           begin
              MessageBox.Show('The report 'sReportName' failed to print. The error will be shown upon clicking ok.','Error',MessageBoxButtons.OK,MessageBoxIcon.Error);
              MessageBox.Show(E.Message,'Error',MessageBoxButtons.OK,MessageBoxIcon.Error);
           end;
      end;
    end;

    In the report designer, I enabled "No Printer" with no luck. Then I enabled both "No Printer" and "Dissociate Formatting Page Size and Printer Paper Size" with no luck. Then I tried only "Dissociate Formatting Page Size and Printer Paper Size" with no luck.
    Most of those options also disabled the "New Page After" feature of Details "a" of the report and the report just came out in a long receipt with very tiny text.
    I am using Service Pack 1 for Visual Studio 2010 and Crystal Report 2008 Service Pack 4.
    On a side note when I switched to using RAS for printing, the client workstations receive Class Not Registered -CrystalPrintControl. This [link|http://www.crystaladvice.com/crystalreports/fix-class-not-registered-crystalprintcontrol] fixed the issue on the testing computer but it will become a huge problem once we redeploy the new printing exe.  I saw on another [thread|Class not registered - CrystalPrintControl - havent seen an answer; that it may be addressed in service pack 2 which will be a big help.
