HP Deskjet F300 series printer and Windows 10

I just upgraded my HP Pavilion DV6-6113cl Entertainment desktop PC to Windows 10 (32 bit or 64 bit? Unknown). My printer isn't working and as best I can tell, I need to download a new driver. If it's even compatible. I'm not finding where/how to do that. Any help is appreciated!

I have set more options in the Printer Properties for the AIRPORT attached printer.
Since color printing seems to not work properly, I have set the color options to use greyscale. This is not an ideal solution, but it atleast presents a printed page that is consistent.
I have also removed the bidirectional mode on the PORT tab in Printer Properties.
If ANYONE has had any good results with color printing using this printer on the AIRPORT EXTREME, please add some comments or suggestions! Thanks!

Hi everyone.
I have an HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 5525 and a notebook with Win8.1 64 bits. I just downloaded and installed package DJ5520_1315-1.exe.
And everytime a double click the shortcut "HP Deskjet 5520 series" nothing happens. Looking at the properties of the shortcut I found ""C:\Program Files\HP\HP Deskjet 5520 series\Bin\HP Deskjet 5520 series.exe" -Start UDCDevicePage".
I can browse the printers page and see many seetings and options, as well.
Any ideas?

HP Deskjet F4100 series printer and AIRPORT EXTREME

From browsing this forum, there seems to be a lot of people with printing problems. Add me to the list!
I have an HP Deskjet F4100 printer attached to the USB port of the AIRPORT EXTREME. Printing a very simple and small text document wirelessly from one of my Windows Vista Laptops works fine, but when I try to print a more complex page, the print spool shows a print error and restarts printing the page. This is the case for the Windows Test Print Page for example. I bought the AIRPORT EXTREME to provide wireless printing capabilities at home. When the printer is attached directly to the laptop, printing is fine. Thank you for your help.

I have a new macbook pro and an HP Deskjet D2500 series printer and i can not figure out how to do double sided (duplex) printing! any help?

How you enable double-sided printing can depend on the applications from whick you wish to print. Example: if I print to my HP PhotoSmart from Safari, I get this print dialog box:
(Edit: OOPS! Note that I forgot to switch printers when i took the scene-shots, so ignore the "Brother" reference. It's should look the same for your HP.
Note the selection labled "Safari" near the bottom. If I change that form "safari to "Layout: I get this:
Note the option for two-sided printing appears for your selection. If I print from Word, the box is different:
The "Copies & Pages" option can be changed to "Layout" when you click it, again allowing the selection of two-sided printing.
If you tell us what applciaiton is vexing you, we may be able to give better-focused information.

HT3669 After update the printer HP Deskjet F300 Series stopped working properly

I would like to notify you that i use drivers for HP Deskjet F300 Series Version 1.0.1 and after this update the version upgraded in version 2.0.0 and the printer stopped working properly. I removed from library all folder of HP drivers and then i re-install old version from .dmg file from this official link of HP and now it works properly again.

I understand you have a Deskjet F300 series printer that is currently telling you it's offline and won't print. I will certainly do my best to assist you in resolving this issue.
If you're using Windows, I would suggest you start by downloading and running the HP Print and Scan Doctor as it should be able to rectify whatever is causing your printer to show as offline.
If that doesn't resolve your issue, or you're using a Mac, please get back to me with which version of Windows or Mac that you're using and I will certainly see what else we can do!

Hello, when I plugged in my old printer to my laptop which has Windows 7 on it. It says that the driver wasn't found. I tried finding the driver download on here, but could only find one that was compatable with old versions of Windows can someone help me locate a windows 7 compatable version?

well i have found that i needed to not just uninstall itunes, but also apple mobile device support, bonjour apple software update and apple application support - uninstall all these and then install itunes - that seesm to have fixed it, though now i am sync fail - that's a different matter perhaps

The Officejet 6500 E709n does have a Windows 8 driver, however, it does not have a Windows 8 RT driver which is what the MS Surface tablet uses. This would explain the message you are receiving.

to who ever can help me.i have been given an old printer a hewlet packard deskjet f2420 series.
it has the mains cable missing . the back of the printer receives the cable with 3 straght prongs to push over and the top

Deskjet 710C not printing after Windows 10 Upgrade

Hi folks, I have recently completed the Windows 10 upgrade from Windows 7 with no issues, or so I thought. My Deskjet 710C appeared to be installed correctly (it was working correctly under Windows 7), but if you try to print to the printer or print a test page from the control panel, the printer does not do anything. I checked the compatibility page and completely re-installed the device including drivers from Windows Update for the 710C (it was previously using drivers for the 720C, but this has never been a problem). Still no response. If I print a test page while having the print queue open in Windows I can see that the test page lands in the print queue for a moment, but then disappears without the printer actually doing anything. No error messages, but no printing. Is this a driver issue, or is it something else I'm overlooking? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Regards, Larry

Hi , I did research this issue. The drivers are listed that they should work from the Windows Updates, but they are not communicating. HP Printers - HP Printers That Work with Windows 10.I checked the website and all the drivers from Windows XP up to WIndows 10 are installed by the built in Windows drivers. This printer is at least 10 years old and has parallel port. If the port is showing LPT1 for the ports tab for the Printer's Properties, then the only other thing I can suggest is to run theDownload and run the Print and Scan Doctor, it will diagnose the issue and might automatically resolve it. Hp Deskjet 1010 series printer -- printer set up

I purchased a deskjet 1010 printer and am trying to set it up to my Mac OS X 10.8.5 laptop. I got the software installed no problem but when it wants to set up the printer it says I need to connect my printer with a USB cable or can do it wirelessly by pressing the wireless button on my printer and then following the rest of the steps. My printer only came with the cords to plug it into a power source, it did not come with a USB cable and there is no wireless button anywhere on the printer...how am I to set up my printer??

Did you install the driver as described here? Will the printer print a Windows test page or a file from Notepad? Do print jobs remain in the print queue? Are there any error messages?
