HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 3545 Printer Black Print for Copy/Scan/Print not working

Whenever tried to Copy or Print with Black and White Print option nothing is getting Printed. Because of this issue my Color Cartridge is getting wasted. Please suggest ASAP resolution for it as I brought this print just few month back I was not expecting to face this issue. I want to Print my Documents with Black Cartridge so immediate suggestions are needed here. Thanks

Hi , I see by your post that you are unable to print, copy or scan in black. I will certainly do my best to help you. I would do a hard reset to see if that will resolve the issue.
Leave the printer on and unplug the power cable from the printer and wall outlet for 60 seconds.
Then reconnect the power cable to the printer and wall outlet rather than a surge protector.

    Hello there! Welcome to the forums @ShobhitK ,
    I understand your Deskjet Ink Advantage 3545 is printing when the paper tray is closed. I have had the same thing happen to me too! I, personally now leave my paper tray open all of the time to avoid the paper being fed through the rollers with the tray closed.
    If that isn't an option for you, you could try running the Print and Scan Doctor tool if you are running a Windows operating system. The tool might correct any software errors to hopefully have the printer prompt you with the message that the tray is closed, if you happen to print with the tray still closed again.
    If you are on a Mac, you can try Mac OS X: How to reset the printing system and re-adding the printer.

  • HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 3545 Ink Catridge Cannot move at a particular location.

    My HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 3545 is fucntioning properly except that it stops prinitng at a particular point of a document. It will print fine all other documents without a problem. But there are some pages in my pdf documents which will create a problem in my printer while priniting. There is no problem in the document but the printer will stop printing and tells that the ink catridge cannot move. It is like I have 14 lines in my document. It will print fine upto 10 lines and after that the problem occurs. It will never print after that point. But it will print fine if I try to print any other different documents. I have check for paper jam or smearing and everything I could but none of them is helping. Please help me.

    Is the issue only with the one program that you are using for that particular document?
    I suggest that we start off by simply running the HP Print and Scan Doctor.

  • Can I connect HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 3545 to multiple routers

    Hi 
    I recently purchased HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 3545 and have connected it to one wireless router.  I have 3 routers at home to cover a large area. How can I connect HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 3545 to multiple routers? 
    Is giving a static IP address an only option? What are the drawbacks of using a static address, if any?

    Welcome to the HP Support Forums!
    HP printers, in your case the Deskjet Ink Advantage 3545, can only connect to one router. If you have three routers setup in your home, to print you will need to be on the network the printer is connected with.
    If these routers are setup like repeaters, then it is possible for this to work, but not supported by printer support. If you are not sure if your setup is consisting of two routers being repeaters, watch this HP video to learn more.

  • Incompatible ink cartridge for hp deskjet ink advantage 3545

    I recently purchased hp deskjet ink advantage 3545. Till yesterday it was working fine. Today it started giving an error of  incompatible ink cartridge. I have neither changed the cartridge neither refilled the ink. In this forum I read that it could be issue of power cable. However, I also have the printer power cable connected directly to a wall outlet. Please help.

    Hi , Welcome to the HP Forums! I noticed that you are wondering if their is a driver for Windows 10 for your HP Deskjet Ink Advantage K209. I am happy to take a look for you!  As far as I can tell, the only software items available, are the ones you already mentioned. The HP Print and Scan Doctor, and the HP Printer Install Wizard for Windows.     Hi! I am an avid fan of Hp printers since I was a kid. It is the family's most trusted brand for printers. Our printer worked just fine until I printed a colored page. When printing an all black page, the print is ok. For the colored output, the picture has some shadow/3D effect in it that I can't understand. It makes the picture unrecognizable. I tried troubleshooting but doesn't work. I am using Windows 8 and have been searching the net for solutions and etc but could not find one.  I wanted to print an alignment page, clean the cartridges and stuff but could not find the Solution Center just like in Windows 7. Please help me. I badly need it. I have an important document that needs to be printed. My future depends on this one, literally. So please help me. I am begging you. T_T

    Hello I_Am_Lost,  Welcome to the HP Forums.  I see that you are having an issue when attempting to print due to bad print quality. I do have a few suggestions that we can try in the attempt to resolve this issue. First off, please make sure that you have the printer power cable connected directly to a wall outlet and not a power bar/strip. Here is a document that uses a LaserJet printer as an example but it is meant for HP products in general. Please click on the following link that explains the Issues when Connected to an Uninterruptible Power Supply/Power Strip/Surge Protector. I have also located a troubleshooting document that deals with HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 2060 (K110a) All-in-One Printer - Troubleshooting Print Quality Issues. If the troubleshooting does not help resolve your issue, I would then suggest contacting HP's Technical Support to see about further options for you. , : click here.  Thanks for your time.  Cheers,

    Description: Good day, I recently bought HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 2060 K110, and I'm having problems with printing an A4 borderless picture.
    I tried to print an image in Adobe Photoshop using an A4 glossy paper, I wanted the print to be borderless - but what came out was a picture with white margin on all sides.
    The image at hand has an exact A4 size (595x842 pixels). Then in the printing page setup, I set the paper size to A4. I tried to play with "Scale to Fit Media", when enabled, the preview shows a margin on both left and right side. When disabled, no margins are displayed, but the program warns me about how clipping may occur, which I didn't mind.
    So, with "scaled to fit media" disabled, I started the printing. When it was done, the output was not something I expected.
    I tried googling a little bit, and found out that some hp printers are not capable of borderless printing. I'm not sure if my printer is one of those.

    Since I found that my printer( HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 1515) which using ink with model 678 cannot cover my huge printing job, is that possile that I can trade in my printer and upgrade to another printer which is using the ink model of 46?

    Hi prabirsen,
    You can run the add printer wizard to install the Generic Driver, (this will create a 2nd printer icon-select the one you want when printing from certain applications) or Update the printer driver you have now to work with the HP Software.
    To run the add printer wizard:
    For Windows 7: Go to start, devices and printers, then click add printer across the top.
    For Windows 8: From the start up screen, (tiles menu) type in "Devices and Printers", select settings, click on Devices and Printer, click on add a printer.
    Updating the printer driver so it can be used with the HP Software.
    Installing an Alternate Print Driver in Windows 7 for a USB Cable Connection.
    Installing an Alternate Print Driver in Windows 8 for a USB Cable Connection.
    Step 8, select USB if printer is USB connected.
    Step 11, select Deskjet 9800.
    What operating system are you using? How to Find the Windows Edition and Version on Your Computer.
    How is the printer connected? (USB/Ethernet/Wireless)

    Welcome to the HP community,
    I read your message about the alignment page not printing when the screen displays that it is. I would personally think that there could be an ink cartridge problem causing the alignment page not to print and I have a few suggestions for  you to try.
    1. Reset the Printer and try printing the alignment page again:
    Press the Power button to turn on the product.
    With the product turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the product.
    Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
    Wait at least 15 seconds.
    Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
    Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the product.
    If the product does not turn on by itself, press the Power button to turn it on.
    2. Follow the steps shown in this guide for ink cartridge issues: A 'Cartridge Missing' or 'Incompatible Ink Cartridges' Error Message Displays for HP ENVY 4500 e-All...

  • Deskjet Ink Advantage 2545 and Mac 10.7.5 wireless print fail

    I've a USB modem/router, a MacBook Pro laptop running 10.7.5, and a new HP Deskjet 2545. 
    Everything works great using the USB cable. Nothing works on my wi-fi network.
    Both the printer and the laptop are on the network. The router has assigned the printer the IP no. 192.168.1.100
    All seems to be in order. HP software congratulates me on a successful installation. 
    But I can't print wirelessly. 
    Any suggestions or requests for clarifying information would be welcome.

    Is their a way you could get a home router (Ie: Netgear, Linksys, Belkin)?
    Try using wireless direct for printing, but beware that you will not have internet connection, when connected to the printer's network.
    Here is a link to your printer's User Guide. I would download the guide, then look at page 53 with the title of: Connect wirelessly to the printer without a router.
    Hotspots will assign a new IP Address everytime, and due to them being on a cell phone networks, they can be unreliable. This method will allow you to always be able to print.

    My Printer gives message carriage jam and abnormal sound is coming. Its one day old printer and happened first day first time and continue.

    I suggest using the following document to troubleshoot the issue you are experiencing. A 'Carriage Jam' Message Displays on the Control Panel.
    Although you may not have printed anything yet, it is possible that something is jammed causing the carriage to jam. New printers have packaging inside that, if missed, can cause the carriage to jam. Using the above document will assist you to resolve the issue. If on the other hand you follow all of the recommended solutions and the issue persists, I suggest calling HP.

    The Screen Name is something that you create, it is not like the printer claim code and it is provided to you.

  • HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 4615

    Hi, I just purchase a HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 4615.
    The problem is when the printer goes into sleep mode, it will not automatic wake up.
    I need to switch off the power and on it back again.
    Is there any way to disable the sleep mode?
    The sleep mode only hav 5 mins sleep, 10 mins sleep and 15 mins sleep.
    Please assist.

    I'm sorry to hear about the frustrating experience with your Deskjet 4615 printer not function correctly for you. I would like to help you.
    I am unsure of a few things and would greatly appreciate if you could respond with some information.
    I would like to know the following:
    Which Operating System are you running? Windows or Mac
    Where you able to successfully install the software/driver, or did you see the installation stop or give an error message?
    In the meantime, here are a few things you can try:
    Reset your Printer and Restart your computer.
    If you are running a Windows Operating System, download and run the Print and Scan Doctor which will search for printing and scanning issues and either correct them or tell you where the issue is so you can better target where the problem is coming from.
