I have used the HP Diagnostics tools, monthly, however recently I can set it, save it (as before) but it will not run.

I understand that your HP Diagnostics Tools are not working and you are looking to have them fixed. I am not sure if you are talking about the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics, but if you are I would advise downloading and installing the latest version. If you are not I would encourage you to post which operating system you are using. And whether your operating system is 32-bit or 64-bit as with this I can provide you with accurate information.
Which Windows operating system am I running?
Is the Windows Version on My Computer 32-bit or 64-bit?
As well if you could be a bit clearer on exactly which tools you are referring too.

This is really unfortunate. I'm sorry that nothing works. I was going to mention holding down the power button and doing a force shutdown but you already did that. You might need to take it into the Apple store. I don't know if booting into safe mode would help. You would have to turn off the machine again, hit the start button and hold down the shift key after you hear the tone, but normally you would let go of the shift key when you see the apple logo and spining wheel. Maybe by holding down the shift key after you here the tone will cause the screen to come back on? The other option is to start up from the 'install disk' if your machine came with one. You would insert the disk, then shut down the computer, and hold down the C key right after hitting the start button.

I don't know what you mean by "where and how"; Adobe Reader will automatically present the license agreement to accept the first time you use it.

There's two different versions of Flash. The ActiveX version for IE, and the Plugin version for other browsers. Did you install the correct version? This forum's software doesn't thing that Flash is installed for Firefox or the Plugin is disabled.
1.Download the Flash setup file from here:

Who replaced the battery? If it wasn't Apple the replacement is probably bad also. Either that, or the logic board is bad.

My MacBook Pro will connect to WiFi but will not work in one location but will at others. I have the same issue with my IPhone 4S at the same location.

My MacBook Pro will connect to Wifi at one location (this is a secure location) but will not allow access to the internet. I will put in the password but will not display page. Other wifi capable devises do not have this issue but my Mac and my Iphone 4S will not work. I have tried restarting the router. All other wifi locations I have been to have not had this issue. Any suggestions? I am realtively new to Apple products (less than a year) so any advise is greatly appreciated.

The other devices that are working got on with the same password. It says it is connected. Just nothing works on the internet.

Clone, spot healing tool, content aware will not work on 11 or 12

The following tools will not work on PSE 11 or 12: clone, spot healing, content aware. Using 3 yr old iMac with latest OS. Same problem on Mac Book. I must be something wrong.

I'm not sure what was going on. I eneded up discarding the photo I was working on and open up another one and everything worked. I guess just a little hitch in it's gitty-up!

Flash player shows as installed but will not work and is not recognized by anything including adobe

I hve installed flash player(several times) and it will not work. programs using it tell me to install it...but it IS..I can see it in my programs list. I have tried ev everything in adobes suggestions. none work. I cannnot acess my Exfintiy or any games on Facebook. This stipid program has screwed up everything!! All of which worked last week!! Computer Recognizes iSight in System Profiler, but will not work

So I have a black MacBook and everything works fine except for the built-in iSight. I have tried reseting my computer and even did a factory restore, but to no avail. When I checked the system profiler, it recognizes my iSight. Here is what it says under the USB Device Tree:

(0) Have you tried all relevant suggestions from http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2090 ? Did you test iChat and Photo Booth in a new test user account? If you need help creating a test account, see this article:

(1) You post that you "tried reseting my computer". If that means you doubt whether you properly reset your PMU (SMC) per this Apple article:

print out the instructions appropriate to you model, study them carefully, and perform the reset again.
(2) Did you disconnect all AV devices (examples: eYeTV, iPods, scanners, etc.) before your tests? If you installed non-Apple software with any of those AV items, have you uninstalled the software IAW the supplier's instructions?
(3) When you did your "factory restore", did you zero (securely erase) your disk before installing the factory software? One zero write is sufficient to be certain there is nothing left on your startup disk that may be causing your problem. If you need help with the procedure, see:

Zeroing the disk will take a long time (hours, depending on the size of your drive), so plan some time.
(4) After zeroing the disk and a "factory restore", did you test iChat and Photo Booth before you added any non-Apple software items? This test will assure that you have not added some third-party item that is causing your problem.

Yes, water and electronics do not mix. Water damage can get worse with time.
You should've left it to fully dry out in a bag of rice for a few days, and hope that the water hasn't corroded any of the electronics inside.

Quick select tool hangs and will not work

All of a sudden the quick select tool will not work/hangs up has a mind of its own and wanders/ after installing an upgrade to Nik software Color Efex Pro 4. I put that in the trash as I could not find a way to unistall. Probably still part of it in other areas?
Still did not work. Then I uninstalled PS 5.5 extended. Reinstalled to find it the same as before. All preference etc the same and a blank cach document show up in Bridge, did this before too. It is like I never uninstalled it.
What gives. How do I get a clean copy of PS?

There is no such thing as a system wide uninstaller on a Mac. Only a few select applications, like some of Adobe's, install an application-specific Uninstaller, e.g. in the Utilities folder of your root level ./Applications folder. I have no idea if Nik provides such an uninstaller or not.
