HP Envy X360 - Screen not rotating in Tent mode

I got this Hp ENVY, Model 15-u110dx laptop recently. When I try to use the Laptop in TENT mode, screen is not rotating. I dont use this option much. It was working before normally. But suddenly, I dont see the screen to rotate when I try to use laptop in TENT or Tablet mode. I searched the formum for such similar issue and I dont see anyone has reported that earrlier. Please adivce.

I came across your post about the Notebook, and wanted to assist you! I have looked into your issue about your HP Envy X360 and the option not working in Tent mode. This function will be disabled in Tent mode. Only in Tablet mode. Thanks.

Nobody here can answer a question like that. Try rebooting your iPad and see if that helps.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

Please check in the settings if the screen rotation is unlocked. Go to Settings> Screen rotation> Set to OFF.

IPhone 6 Plus Screen Not Rotating in Text Message Mode

Brand new 6 Plus, and it seems about half the time when I click in the "message" portion to start typing a text and rotate the phone on it's side 80 percent of the time it does not rotate into Landscape "horizontal" mode, but stays in Portrait mode "vertical". Screen Lock is not on. I do not have large text or large screen size on. I have turned the phone off and on. I have reformatted the phone twice and started fresh with a new 8.1 install. As an avid emailer/texter and someone who relies on their phone for their business, I am hoping to find a solution soon.

I've also experienced this same problem using snapseed. It's really frustrating to use the app.

The screen is not rotating even though rotation is enabled and it is in standard view. This happens with all apps both Apple and third party.

I have the same issue too. It's intermittent and can sometimes be fixed by turning the iPhone off then on again. Some of my photos are up the wrong way because the camera app didn't rotate to landscape mode when taking the photo. My wife has a 6 too with nil issues.
I rang Apple who said to restore the iPhone to see how that goes but I haven't had the time yet.
Would like to hear from anyone who had this issue and fixed it.

Why does my screen not rotate correctly?

My ipad opens up OK, but when i open an app, the display turns upside down (rotates 180 degrees) and after that will not rotate at all.

all the apps designed for landscape will work on both sides in landscape and if portrait will work both side,
If the app is not responding properly,close all the apps and switch off the iPad ,and switch on after 2 minutes,
This should fix the problem.

Yoga 2 Pro - Screen not rotating on new Windows 8.1 install

I got my new Yoga 2 Pro last week and the screen rotation worked properly.
I decided to wipe the partitions and install my own version of Windows 8.1.
Since then the screen rotation doesn't work. The screen rotation button doesn't do anything and I don't have the 'Enable auto-rotate' checkbox in the resolution screen
In my device manager I have an error on 'HID Sensor collection' saying "This decice cannot start" (Code 10). Failed to initialize sensor from HID collection descriptor". I am not sure if this is related.
Can anyone help me?

I was able to fix my problem and would like to share the solution with others in case this also happens to you.
I basically installed this Media package (http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=42503) and after that the auto-rotate check, button and functions works properly.
Hope this can also helps others.

IPhone 6 plus - screen not rotating when waking up from sleep

I just got a 6 Plus and I'm having issues with the screen rotation. It seems to be reproducible and I have the view set to standard and I have tried a factory reset.
If I have the phone in portrait mode and put it to sleep. That mode seems to stick. As an example, I can hold my device in landscape mode and unlock it but the app will not automatically switch to landscape. It will stay stuck on portrait. I have to move the device to portrait and then back to landscape to get the correct orientation. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Also when it wakes up from sleep the screen flashes, don't think its supposed to do that.
Here is a picture I took with my phones that shows how the screen looks like, notice the difference in brightness in a pattern.

Screen not rotating on new iPod Touch

Got a new ipod Touch 5th Gen and the screen doesn't rotate. Checked and the portrait view is not locked. Anything else I should do or check? Thanks.

What apps have you tried? Not all apps support screen rotation. Try Safari, that supports rotation.
If astill problem:
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.

Can I horizontally flip an external screen (Not rotation)

I am currently working on my master-thesis. During the developement of my prototype I came upon a litlle problem…
I would like to "flip" my external screen. Is their any kind of tweak or possibility to do this?
I'm working on a Macbook Air and i'm working with an external screen.
Any sloution is welcome!
I have tried to download the program "Display Rotation Menu" but you can only rotate (90°, 180°, 270°) the external screen and I would like to flip it…

The only problem is, that I would like to flip my screen.
For example: If I can flip my screen it wouldn't be possible to read my text on my screen, because it's written in mirrorwriting. This means that the text that I am reading is written in reverse.
And for my master thesis I would like to have my screen in a "reverse" position, like the previous example.
Is there no tweak, program or solution that can help me?

Screen not refreshing after sleep mode

Hello All,
I have had a problem since 10.7.XX where my screen does not refresh after the computer goes into screen saver mode and then into sleep mode. When I move my mouse to resume i get a line drawn where I move my mouse and it reveals the login screen slowly. I can click on a login account and a small section of the screen refreshes where the login password is. Once I login it goes away. Was hoping Mountail Lion would address, but the problem continues from Snow Leopard. I am on a Imac 24" 2009 3.06Ghz dual core with 4 Gig of Ram, Nvidia GeForce 8800 GS 512mb. Thanks in advance for any advice.

The sleepimage file still reappears even if never slept. Delete it (hibernate off, etc) - within minutes its back.

HT1947 Remote app under iOS 7 does not rotate to landscape mode

I am using the remote app to control iTunes on my computer. I have an iPad 2 with iOS 7.0.2. The remote app only displays in portrait mode. If I rotate the iPad the app stays in portrait mode. Anyone know how to fix this.

Spectre X360 Screen rotation

Hi, I recently bought spectre X360 with windows 10, but the screen rotation is not working in tent and tablet mode.I have been trying to get a solution for this in display settings but Lock rotation of this display is ON and disabled. Therefore I cant even change it. Please let me know how to enable screen rotation.

I bought this laptop about 3 weeks ago. When running windows 8.1 the screen did rotate into portrait mode when turned, but only when the laptop was in the tablet formfactor. As long as the keyboard was still on, it would only flip 180 and not got into portrait mode. Now that i am on win 10 i have the same issue as the OP. I applied the registry setting and the screen does rotate, but it does it in laptop and tablet mode (i am speaking of the physical mode, not the win 10 tablet mode). I dont like that it does it in laptop mode, but its better than nothing. I would like to see an official fix that also ungreyed the option as well.
