Hp envy4 k028 tx

I have bought hp envy 4 touch smart k028 tx. It has nvidea display adapter 740m and i have the latest updated driver for this adapter but still when i try to open the nvidea control panel following error occurs.
"you are not currently using a display attached to nvidea gpu"
I have bought this laptop few days back and can't understand what its problem is. Plz need some help in this regard.

When you are getting the error message, have you always received this error, or did it work properly initially? Are you trying to connect anything to the HDMI port? If you are, what is it that you are trying to connect? If not, it seems like a software issue. What we can try would be to re-install the video software/driver from the HP Recovery. I have included the document 'Using Recovery Manager to Restore Software and Drivers (Windows 8)'. Give this a try, and let me know how it worked.
If the Recovery Manager fails, open up your Device Manager, and are you getting any hits on the NVIDIA driver. I have included the document 'Device Manager Information for Windows 8'.

Envy4-1130us crashed during BIOS update

Hello!
I just killed my favorite laptop Envy4-1130us.
I decided to update BIOS from v.13 to v.25
During update process, OS (Win8.1) hangt up. No errors was shown. After few hours laptop restarted, and now it's not works. Power led is on, system fan works on full load, but screen is black and system is not responding (OS doesn't start and power button not responding).
Can community help me? Is an this laptop BIOS recovery console?

Updated:
When laptop was completely discharged, I plugged them to AC adapter.
It powers on and then bios recovery procedure was started.
So, now I have BIOS v.10
Thanks HP Bot now my bios will NEVER been updated

What docking station do i use for the envy4-2014

i have a envy4-2014 that i wanted to use a docking station with
i purchased the HP2005 USB
The attached monitor will not work.
any idea what i need.

Thank you for the information.
Looking at the specifications for your modle, I noticed that it's USB ports are 3.0. The docking station that you got is 2.0. That alone could be what's caused the issue. On that note I've located a sales page with several listed on it, and some 3.0's are on that page. As far as my recommendation, you want one that is 3.0 compatible for your computer, beyond that as I'm not familiar with docking stations and do not handle sales you may want to call support, or the number on the websites page.

Envy4-1053TX Cant boot windows

I have envy4-1053tx and os already corrupted,i have try to reinstall the windows using F11 function but after finish recovery it show NO Bootable devices.i try to swap ram & hdd also same issue.What cause the problem

Hello pklam. I understand that you're being told that there are "no bootable devices" is this correct?
When you enter the BIOS for the notebook does it detect an HDD?
Have you tried running the built in hard drive test? Here are instructions.
Have you verified the boot order of the notebook in the BIOS? Is the HDD listed in the boot order? To do this enter your BIOS by pressing F10 during boot and then going to the "System Configuration" section and then the "boot order" section.

Recovery drive inside: Removed
Recovery Dvd's : I have made before removing recovery drive
Current OS: Windows 7 Ultimate
want to install : Minimum recovery from Recovery Dvds
Error Detail:
1. Intallation completes upto first reboot correctly.
2. When restarts it starts Installing Drivers.
3. But suddenly error appears:
    " Restoration Incomplete.
Please select one of following."
My Laptop Battery is completly dead. and when laptop restarts while battery in it takes upto 2-3 minutes to show active screen and that starts from just boot. can that be a problem.
it restarts normally while battery is not used. (i have not tried installing windows without battery yet!)
so what are my options?

Usb 2.0 problem sometimes works and others not

Dear support team,
I have a problem with my envy4 uktrabook, sometimes the one usb port (2.0 at the rigth of the ultrabook) works without any problem but sometimes doesn't work without reason, and passed a time works again with out any problem.
Now the usb port is not working again.
Please your help.

I have the same issue years after your question was posted. My issue is that there were images intentionally left out of the DVD format and submenu's or buttons not on every page of the DVD. Again intentionally. This was a conflict for iDVD, so I added the extra images. Unfortunately you are only allowed 99 submenus so I could not add more to the iDVD project as instructed in the errors listing.
How can this be burned when I'm not wanting or needing the 'fixes" that iDVD say are missing?
