HP Game Console

Try to open game console, I get an error message 'C:\Program Files\HP Games\on play\on play.exe'. The specified path does not exist. Computer got a virus eight months took computer to computer place and had it fixed. Just now trying to play with console again. Downloaded another console it will download games, Wild Tangent, but will NOT install them.

Will the new 2012 MacBook pro allow me to play my Games console via the hdmi slot?

Hi, I am looking to purchase the new MacBook pro 15 inch retina display for work. I was wondering whether I would be able to play my games console 360/ps3 via the hdmi slot as this would save me prove buying a tv for my flat.

I don't think you can. This is because the there is no "source" on any Mac, this means that you can only use the computer. So what I'm saying is that the MBP with retina display is only "out" so you can only use it to show what's on the monitor on your tv.

T7700 help with setting up with tv and game consoles

HI i wanted to set up my T7700 suround sound with my tv and two game consoles i know that i can connect it to one console and use an adapter to get actual sound sound. What I wanted to is if i could connect it to mulitiple consoles and the tv at once so i dont have to muck around changing it from port to port?. I know that this is a computer system but i was just wanding whether it is posible or not?.

You need to assign the static ip address to Wii & for that static ip address you need to forward the port nos. & you will be able to play the games online Wirelessly!!!

Video game consoles on a Mac?

Hi there, I'm new here. I plan on gettting a new 24" iMac for 3D design, animation and music composition. I've been looking into a Mac for a long time, and all of the PCs I have used are worthless.
Also, I'd like to use my Mac for console gaming. Is there any type of Component, Composite or HDMI adapter I can use to hook up my console to the Mac so that it can be used like a TV screen?
Let's say the Xbox 360: You have the option of Component, Composite or HDMI. To connect the Component cables, do you need the Red, White and Yellow cables, just the Blue, Green, and Red, or all six connected? And if I was to hook up the HDMI, would I need the Component/Composite cables also connected or the HDMI cable alone?

Maybe I am confused about what it is you are trying to do, but the video connector on an iMac is a video output for running a second display. The iMac does not have a video input in the sense of being able to use it's screen as a display for an external device. Although I have heard some people use these things to connect game consoles, but I have never personally used one:

Why not come up with an Apple game console?
It must be good enough to rival the likes of Sony's PlayStation 3. With added features that are sure to impress potential buyers. Features include the obvious Blu-ray player, HDMI, USB and network connectivity, harddrive storage, and onboard library like on the Apple TV. Apple game console can have an internet browser to surf web pages or even watch IPTV/stream from YouTube. It can be sync'd with iTunes, in fact, game titles may be bought/rented off iTunes directly (thus eliminating the need to buy discs made especially for apple). Wouldn't it be great if iPhones could connect to Apple game console wirelessly and share their media on the TV screen? Or better yet wouldn't it be great if you could play console games with your iPhone or similar device with accelerometer?
Apple game console can even introduce cloud gaming on a large scale, therefore overtaking Sony completely. What if Apple made a special Leopard OS for such a game console. Apple will surely impress people with their outstanding GUIs and/or touch gaming functionality.
What do you think about this idea?

the hardware in the appletv is nowhere near being close to what a PS3 has.

Inspire T6060 and Xbox or other game consoles

I bought this speaker system and i got question that is:
is there any way connect xbox or any other game console to T6060 and get working 5.1 sounds? Wow, turned my PC on today and it's magically fix itself! Woo I'm happy now.
Strange thing is I also accidently found out what caused it. In the volume control on XP I had 'Play Control' and 'Wave' at about half, and the speaker volume (on remote control) up quite a lot. Today at had both options in the volume control at max, and turned the volume on the remote down a little and the right speaker suddenly comes into action.
Weird eh? This also happened with my old Cambridge Soundworks speakers I guess just a weird bug I happened to get twice...

Game Console Exchange - XBox One

I bought an XBox One console bundle (Forza and Kinect) last 09/28/2014. Is it possible to exchange this to the upcoming XBox One Sunset Overdrive bundle?
If it is, how much will I be paying since I already used the Forza code and what if I want to keep the Kinect as well?
I am an Elite Plus Member, so is this covered within the 45 days exchange?

Game console connect to MacBook?

Perhaps this isn't the best place to ask this question, but I'm looking for a way to connect a Nintendo Game Cube to my MacBook, since I don't have a television. Would I need emulators? Is there a cord that someone manufactures for that purpose?
Any info you can provide (even if it's info on a better place to post such a question) would be greatly appreciated.

Did some searching around for you. There are two possibilities--one easy, one difficult/illegal. So let's stick with the easy way.
What you need is the EyeTV from Elgato (Pinnacle makes a similar product, though I don't know if it works in this capacity). This will allow you to use your Macbook's screen as an pseudo-external monitor. I say "pseudo" because it appears to do all of this through the hardware as an app, so you never have to leave OS X.
*This might only apply to processing over-the-air signals, I have no idea--->*Since you're on a Macbook, it might be a better choice to go with the EyeTV 250 Plus (as opposed to the USB stick), as it does all of the encoding with its own hardware, rather than from your Macbook's processor.

I personally have never used the EyeTV, but it looks pretty cool--you can even get cable on your mac since you don't have a tv!

Keypad Enter Game Console and my keyboard don't mix

I recenty aquired a list of cheats for "Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter". At the top of the cheat sheat it reads:
"Press [Keypad Enter] to display the console window. Then, enter one of the following codes to activate the cheat function..."
My keyboard (shown below) lacks a keypad. I think the "[fm]" key (detailed in lower corner) has some thing to do with the solution to the problem, but I'm not 100% sure. If it is please explain how to use it.
Additional info: Laptop: HP Pavilion tx2500 notebook PC-- uses Windows Vista Home Premium.

Compatability with game consoles?

I want the best of the best i.e. the simultaneous dual band WRT610(i think) but I need to know if it will work with my Wii/360/PS3/PSP. How do I know if it will work though before I buy it?

i currently have mine hooked up with a xbox360/wii/ps3/ds all wireless with no problems from any. i upgraded from a wg54 and my ps3 had 80% signal, with the new 610n it has 92%.

Yes, I'm experiencing this issue as well. Using a mini displayport to DVI cable. My monitor will eventually return to life, but usually takes like 5-10 minutes. Disconnecting and reconnecting the cable doesn't do anything for me. I tried 2 different monitors, both had the same problem (both were Dell 24" monitors, but different model numbers.) It doesn't do this all the time, but I did notice that it seems to be exacerbated by having something running full screen on the external monitor when it goes to sleep (diablo 3, which was originally what I thought was causing the problem, but youtube videos apparently have the same effect.)

Looking for router that allows 'isolating' game console

My WRT54GL is starting to come to the end of it's life, and I'm trying to select it's successor.
In a perfect world, I'm looking for a product that will allow me to drive my kid's XBOX through one channel, leaving another channel for the computers in the house.
I realise that 'isolation' is not the right word for this, but does this exist? In what product? And what do you call this feature?

OK, a bit more research done and what I need is 'simultaneous dual-band'. Something like the E3000.
So next question: Let's say I don't assign separate SSID's to the individual bands. Will both bands be available automagically? Will individual systems grab the best band, i.e N's to the 5GHz and G's to the 2.4GHz? Are will everything simply go to the 5GHz?
And if my N-based laptop is on the 5GHz band, will it see the G-based printer on the 2.4Ghz band (assuming no separate SSID's)?
