I recently installed the AVAST anti virus on my hp laptop. when it finished installing, it said i had programs that had viruses and gave me a list of options. I believe I may have deleted everything from my laptop. I thought i chose the option to remove the viruses but am wondering now if I removed the programs. when I power on i get the windows is starting and the the screen goes completely black... just goes to show to let the experts handle these things. Someone please help as it has 1000's of special pictures and school work on it. thanks so much

Welcome to the HP Forums!
I understand you've run a scan with AVAST and now are unable to boot into Windows.
Good news is, the Recovery partition should have been left untouched as it's a protected drive.
Try launching the HP Recovery Manager to run a system restore back to before you installed the AVAST software. This should undo any changes that were made without affecting your personal files.
Tap F11 while the notebook turns on and once the HP Recovery Manager has been loaded select the System Restore option.

Unable to install itunes 10.4.1 on my dell laptop windows 7 64 bit

I am unable to install itunes 10.4.1 on my dell laptop windows 7 64 bit:
i have tried to install itunes on my windows 7 64 bit dell laptop, and everytime it says installation successfully installed, but i can't find the files anywhere in the computer, i searched all the locations, desktop ... but nothing found.
Troubleshooting Done:
- Tried different itunes versions; didnt work.
- Tried to install on different locations on my computer.. C:, D:... didnt work.
- I empty Temp files from all users on my computers who are (Me & Admin) only; didnt work.
- i removed all related apple files; same.
- Uninstall all apple related support ... etc..; didnt work.
- I have Admin access to all my files and also tried to install from Admin account; didnt work.
I don't know what else i can do, please advise me on how to fix it, i need to backup my iphone & ipad ASAP.
Please contact me via email, phone anytime and as soon as you can.

Tried your advise but that too failed. Problem still continues. Again that same error "There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor".

I would start with
Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista or Windows 7
If you have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. You can also do a Crtl+S to show the sidebar. The sidebar is where Devices appears. and Control+B to show the Menu bar

Have you tried another cable?
Look at the dock connector. Look for abnormalities like bent or corroded contacts, foreign material and cracked or broken plastic

If your intention is to use the trial again it will not reset if you reinstall. It will remain in its ran out state.

You formatted your computer's hard drive? If so, it's like starting with a new computer unless you restored all of your content from a backup but it does;t sound like that's the case.

If you haven't already done so then download and install iTunes : http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Add the songs into your computer's iTunes via File > Add To Library
Connect the iPad to your computer and select it on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes, and on the right-hand side there should be a series of tabs, one of which should be Music - if you select that tab you can then select which of your iTunes music to sync to the iPad (it should sync to the Music app on the iPad).

I am sorry to hear you are having issues reinstalling your operating system. I am providing you with a link here to a document titled Recovery Disk Creation Error Codes (Windows 7). Now document is for creating the recovery disks but the error is showing up in your error log (0xe0ef002f). The error according to the document is the File/directory does not exist. It looks like a function call Deploy() is attempting to access this File/directory and is unable to.
This leads me to think that it is the disks that you are using. It would stand to reason anyways as you state you have tried this on multiple hard drives. A good test would be to check to see if your error in the error log is the same every time. If it is happening at the same point each time then simply order a new set of discs from here.
