HP laser printer does`nt print freehand

Last problem not yet solved – next standing on my desk
well, my iMac is connected with a HP LaserJet P1006 and a HP
PSC 1350. Printing from "pages" runs good, but from FREEHAND MX I
cannot print with the LaserJet. It first shows the job in the
"status/ name/ user/ when -line", an then, after two seconds it
shows "stopped". I only can print the page/s as an exported pdf,
but it also doesn`t work every time. So I thought, the reason for
the problem lies in FREEHAND, but the same job runs without any
problems on the hp psc 1350.
What is wrong? Has anyone got an idea?

Sometimes there is a conflict between a printer driver and
the print file
sent from an application.
Have you checked the printer manufacturer's website for
troubleshooting
advice?

  • HP Photosmart 6510 e-All-in-One Printer Does Not Print Black Ink

I have run all the troubleshooting listed from HP and the "check" warrenty doesn't come up blank.  I would like to not have to purchase a new printer to fix this any help would be greatly appreciated:
    1) Rebooted Printer
    2) Installed new printer cartridge (2nd one) - really not happy about this as that represents almost $50 in HP ink
    3) Checked venting - Not the problem
    4) From Tools ran head cleaner - still only prints colors (or grey)
I've liked HP printers for a long time, but after reading the forums I'm really seeing an issue with the model I puchased.  I don't mind purchasing HP ink and my printer isn't a high volume use printer so I expect it to last beyond 1 year 1 day.
I have the SN and product number available if a tech needs.

  • HP Color LaserJet CP2025 / Windows 7(64bit)-Why the printer does not print color letters??

HP Color LaserJet CP2025  / Windows 7(64bit)-Why the printer does not print color letters??

Could be a lot of reasons. First try to print a supplies status page- If that prints with color on it, you have a driver problem.

  • Hp6110xi all in one printer does not print color

HP all in one HP 6110xi stop printing in color. This printer is 5 years old and has print color before. I update to the only drive online. Still nothing.

There is no cartridge expiration on the Officejet 6110 that would cause it to stop printing in color.  The end of warranty date (as shown here) is simply the end of warranty, the cartridge may continue to be used after that date.
There are a few things to check:  what happens when you select a color copy?  Are there any error messages?  Does the printer go through the motions of printing but with a blank page?

  • When printing on photopaper with HP PSC 1510, the top part of the print does not print.

When I try to print on photopaper with PSC 1510, it does not print the top part of the print - the paper seems to get feeded well. It looks like it somehow moves the printing area 10 cm higher on the document, so the pictures are cut in the middle and the top part is not printed. This varies - printing using the Windows image preview didn't cut off as much as Open Office's Writer.

As long as your cartriges are full, put a photo on you desktop, highlight it , click COMMAND P and the print preferences window should drop down, and select your printer and photo paper.

  • Printer does not print

I have an OfficeJet 4315 All in one with MS Vista.  When I send a file to print, it gets to the printer que but won't print.  I've tried everything in the manual Troubleshooting without success.  I've rebooted, restarted, but nothing.  So, I thought I'd try installing an updated driver.  When I clicked to download the 163MB file, it won't finish the download and I can't open it.  Right now after waiting 3 days to finish the download there are still 987 bytes left to go.  I've tried three times to download it.  Help!

Hello @ohrudym , and welcome to the HP Forums, I hope you enjoy your experience!
I see your having printing issues.  I would love to try and help you, but I do need a little information first. I am linking a few HP Support documents below that will show you how to find which operating system you are using. Also, if you're using Windows, please include whether your operating system is 32-bit or 64-bit.
Mac OS X: How Do I Find Which Mac OS X Version Is on My Computer?
Which Windows operating system am I running?
Is the Windows Version on My Computer 32-bit or 64-bit?
Also, what does the printer display say? What occurs when making a copy as opposed to a print?
Please let me know what you find. Thanks for posting on the HP Forums!

  • HP PSC 1300 Series printer does not print the entire last line on page

Using an HP PSC 1310 series printer (1315xi I think). Just changed computers and OS from winXP to Win7 Professional. Now the very bottom line on my checks only shows the top 10% of that last line. There is a 1-inch margin at the bottom of 11.5" LETTER paper. There is no problem if I use another printer (HP PSC 1210xi). Is there an updated 1310 series driver that wasn't automatically selected by Win7Prof when I switched computers?

I see no way to adjust the margins on the printer. When I click 'Printer Properties - Effects' the Margins area has nothing I can change and even though there is a box to Minimize Margins, it cannot be clicked. Using the Resizing Option to reduce page to 95% does not pull the last line into the printable area. I can print the file to PDF using doPDF v7 and then see the printable white area that goes just under the last line when I choose the 1210xi printer, but when I select the 1300 series printer the white area moves slightly upward just above most of the last line to be printed. I can't choose the pdf selection to fit or shrink to printer because that distorts the page on my pre-printed checks, so I must choose Page Scaling as 'None'. My checks printed fine on the old computer with XP and using the same PSC 1300 printer. I've also tried to print to another printer that prints the last line with no problem.

  • HP 7520 all in one printer does not print photos well-Does with my Windows machines

I have several computers.  Everything works great with printer in Windows environment.  I have an iPad and a MACbook PRO with Maverick 10.9.4.   The photos are terrible when I print with either of these devices.   It almost looks like a negative image.   I have checked for updated drivers, etc for the MAC.   The ink is HP and the levels are good.  It works fine with my PC computers, but not my Apple devices.   I have checked system preverences in the APPLE.   It appears to be only the photographs.  Text prints fine.  Any suggestions?

I see you're running into photo print issues. I would like to help!
I would suggest deleting the printer from your print system, using this document: Uninstalling the Printer Software.
Once you have deleted it, I would suggest verifying and repairing the disk permissions: About Disk Utility's Repair Disk Permissions feature.
I would also suggest running your Apple updates:  OS X: Updating OS X and Mac App Store apps.
After the updates, I would recommend reinstalling the HP Photosmart 7520 e-All-in-One Printer Drivers.

this has happened many times in the past and I have resolved by shutting down the printer
and then powering back up...aggravating however I was eventually able to print
    not anymore...
cannot get beyond "printer is not responding"
    your immediate assistance is needed

    Hi @tr2ky ,
I see that you aren't able to print. You are getting the message "printer is not responding". I would like to help you resolve this issue.
If you have a valid IPv4 address for the printer then try and access the Embedded Web Server for the printer.
Type the IPv4 address into your web browser's address bar. (Safari)
    Did it load the page?
If it loaded, then the printer is still on the network.
You might have to restart the Mac and power cycle the router if it doesn't load the Embedded Web Server.
Repair the Disk Permissions on the Mac:
    Close all applications.
On the Apple menu bar, click Go, click Applications and then click Utilities.
    Double-click Disk Utility.
Highlight your hard drive/partition on the left.
Click Verify and then Repair Disk Permissions.
    Restart the computer..
    Reset the Printing System:
Note: This will remove all printers in the print and Fax/Scan, any printer removed can be re-added later by clicking the plus (+) symbol.
Click the Apple icon and then click System Preferences.
    Click Printers & Scanners.
Right-click (or Ctrl +click) in the left white side panel, then click Reset printing system.
Click OK to confirm the reset.
Type the correct Name and Password.
Click OK to reset the printing system.
Then click the + sign to add the driver, highlight the printer. (you might have to click the drop down to select the printer's name) Then click on the Add button.
    Try printing again.
If you need further assistance, just let me know.
    Have a great day!
    Thank You.

  • Printer does not print the blue ink and clean printheads does not show the blue blocks

I cleaned my printheads numerous times and ran the printing test but the blue blocks do not show up.  There are no streak lines in any of the other colors. How do I fix this problem?

    Hey there @mvelalis!
Thank you for posting on the HP Forums!
I would be happy to provide some assistance regarding the cyan not printing.  If you have already run the printhead cleaning with no success in getting the cyan to print then I suggest removing the printhead from the printer and manually cleaning the copper contacts.  The printer takes 4 print cartridges and 2 printheads.  The printheads need to be replaced like cartridges but not as often.  The printheads are what actually put ink onto the page.
To manually clean the printheads click: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01609042
I was also able to locate a document regarding Fixing Print Quality Problems for the HP Officejet Pro 8500 Premier (A909n) and 8500 Wireless (A909g....  I suggest going through the documents for possible solutions to your issue!
Please post back and let me know how it goes!

  • Inkjet 3522 : Printer does not print any black content

    - Model : Inkjet 3522
    - Cartridge: 564
    - Tried 3 cartridges, 1 was indicating low so I figured that was the problem in the first place so I got a new on swapped it carefully, didnt work.
    - I tried all the tools ie. cleaning printhead/status report/quality report etc.
    - Printer picks up the cartridge and shows full
    - 1st few times it would just print faded lines of text you can barely read it
    - I did a status report just now and the Yellow/Blue/Red(pink) shows up but the section for black is just empty, won't even print the report. That was my 2nd cartridge brand new and I swapped it immediately following instructions, didnt let it sit or anything.
    - I got the printer about 3-4 months ago and any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks!

The document here may help resolve black not printing on your Deskjet 3522 printer.  Be sure to check the vents as described in solution three.
Is your printer still in warranty? You can check with HP's warranty tool here.  If the printer is still in warranty and the above does not resolve the issue I would suggest you call HP for service.  In the US call 1-800-HPINVENt, elsewhere see the contact information here.

Printing a web page works fine from the microsoft windows browser but fire fox browser will not print a web page only the heading at the top and the date and time at the bottom.
