HP Laserjet 3050 all-in-one - prints but won't copy

I have this HP Lasejet 3050 for 6 years but won't copy. It print reports and from computer too. No problem but When I copy b&w original then copy comes all solid black. Please help

Hp officejet pro 8600 all in one prints but won't scan

I have recently moved house and changed my wireless router from BT to Virgin.
I am running OS X 10.9.5
I am able to print from my mac without issue, however, it has stopped scanning. I have managed to get it to work twice on isolated instances but it won't work consistently.
I have unistalled the software and reinstalled via the HP download page but when I open HP Scan and click scan it asks me to choose which scanner - mine is selected, it then says preparing to scan and it does that for ages until it says it can't get a connection.
My printe r is a HP Officejet Pro 8600 All-in-one N911g - I am not bothered that much about scanning from the printer to the computer (I have tried to enable this option and it won't let me) I just want to be able to open HP Scan and press scan and it scan on my computer.
Any advice appreciated - thank you

I have some suggestions for you to hopefully correct the scanning issue you are having. Please feel free to reply back and let me know the results!
1. Try power cycling the network devices:
Turn off the printer and computer and unplug the router for 1 minute (do not press any buttons on the router).
Plug the router back in and wait another minute, next turn on the printer and computer.
2. Mac OS X: How to reset the printing system
3. Repair disk permissions
4. Restart your computer.
5. Re-add the printer
Once the printer is connected on the network, follow these steps to maintain the wireless connection, normally a static IP will help out quite a bit: Printer Does Not Maintain Wireless Connection

HP Deskjet 3050 All-in-One Printer series - J6? what a load 0f rubbish,only one place for this the bin!
Purchased less than a year ago countless problems with wireless reinstaled more times than I can think and now paper jams so off to the bin, never to buy HP products again, being disabled is hard enough but having to going shopping for a new printer this I could do without. thank you HP.

I am sorry to hear that you are having that issue with the printer. If the printer is under a year old from the date of purchase, please call into HP Total care. The printer comes with a factory warranty that gives the owner free tech support on the product. Paper jams are a hardware issue. If all troubleshooting steps are done on the phone with the agent and the product is still not working. That agent who is assisting you will be able to give further options on what can be done. Unplug the USB cable. Now go to Start > All Programs > Hewlett-Packard > Deskjet 3050 > Add a Device. Run the program and choose Wireless as the installation type.
Follow the directions. It will ask you to connect a USB cable temporarily. Do not connect until it asks and remove it when it tells you.
Finally, when you are done, go to Control Panel > Devices & Printers and delete the USB instance of the printer so you don't get confused when printing.

Is there a way disable the stand-by or hibernation feature on the 3050 all in one printer

When the Deskjet 3050 all in one goes into stand by/hibernation mode it really makes the wireless feature useless. I have to either get it to recognize the router again or power the printer down and back up again to be able to print wirelessly . I might as well stay connected via USB but that defeats the point of buying a wireless printer in the first place. There has to be a better way and I can't seem to find any info on this. Please help.

if not resolved, uninstall hp software &
reinstall using latest hp software from hp
website.

no not at all..it was just tested if it was being detected on a windows os..it did..i am doubting either it is a problem with the router or the macbook pro....but earlier it did connect well to a hp officejet pro 8600 e-all-in-one printer over a different network(at someone else's house)...

HP4710 all in one printer - just won't start up

HP4710 all in one printer start up screen display just keeps cycling but never gets to usual finish screen. Hence cannot even use HP diagnostic tool. Have tried the obvious stuff - ie on/ off button & disconecting/ reconnecting power but same happens. All fine until yesterday. Nothing has changed - except it now can't seem to complete it's boot up process. Is there any other soft or hard reset I can try?

HP Photosmart Premium Fax All-in-One Printer ( C309a) - won't turn on

Greetings everyone, I am hoping someone is able to help me. Whenever I plug in my Photosmart Premium Fax All-in-one printer (C309a) it doesn't power up even though the green light on the adapter is on. Has anyone had a similar issue? Does anyone know how to rectify this problem?

Sometimes, I have been able to resolve power problems by moving the power connection from one working outlet to another working outlet. Be sure to plug the printer's power cord directly into a wall outlet (not a surge protector, power strip or battery backup).

I have aHP Photosmart C8180 All-in-One Printer that when I turn it on it looks like it is going to start, then the light on the light scribe door goes on and off, it makes a clicking noise then the printer shuts off, then comes back on and does the same thing over and over.

I just need some information from you first. Do you have your printer plugged directly into a wall outlet? Have you power reset your printer? Have you tried to plug it in to a different wall outlet? Have you tried using a different power cable?

HP Deskjet 3050 All-in-One Printer connected to pc, can't connect to laptop

I've been using this printer via USB for a while now and finally set it up wireless. It works fine on my pc (Windows 7), but I can't see it with my wife's laptop (Lenovo ThinkPad also Windows 7). I can look up the IP address in a browser on my pc and actually get into the printer, but when I do the same on the Thinkpad it just returns with a google search for the UP address.

I can also access the printer via IP on my Kindle HD, but not the laptop.

When I try to print from my HP Deskjet 3050 wireless printer nothing happens. However, I can print from my desktop which is also wireless with this printer. It has been fine for months, now all of a sudden it just doesn't seem to recognize my laptop. When I go to Troubleshoot HP, it says to contact my network administrator. I don't even know how to do that!! I know my wireless connection is on because it works with my other computer. I have tried turning everything off...rebooting everthing....and it still fails. Please hlep me! I did print a network configuration page which said that no problems were found. Also my router is a Cisco linksys E1000.

Problem with network scanning with Laserjet M1212nf All-in-one printer

I installed drivers for my network connected Laserjet M1212nf on my Windows 7 64-bit laptop computer, but it appears as just a printer (in Devices and Printers). I cannot scan from the laptop (I get a "no TWAIN Device Installed" error).
The scan function does appear (and work) if I connect to the printer via USB and install those drivers, but my laptop does not usually reside in the same room as the printer.
The scan function installs and works properly on a Windows XP desktop computer also connected to my network.

If it does not help please inlcude the model of the router you are using (Make sure that the router is running the lastest firmware) that may help was well.

Your HP Deskjet 3050 is printing BLANK PAGES?
The printer ejects blank sheets of paper when printing. Some or all the printed pages might be partially blank or half printed. It can be the software that you are printing from or program. Sometimes it can be the actual print head needs cleaning or cartridges are low.

See if you can print a self-test page or printer status report from the printer itself. If so, then it is a software or connection issue.
If you can print test page, try to use a different USB cable. Also, you can uninstall and re-install the software and drivers.
If you are NOT able to print a test page from the printer, try to clean the cartridges with lint free cloth and water.
