HP LaserJet 9050 one vertical line duplex only

The HP LaserJet 9050 is printing one vertcal line near the center of the page (offset 1/2" from center). This occurs only during duplex printing on the odd number pages only. The line is not solid, it look like varing width dash down the page. I have swapped the duplexer unit, fuser unit and toner/drum unit with a working 9050 printer, it did not help. I have also tried cleaning rollers and guides, but I am not sure which are unique to the duplex operation. Thanks in Advance,Julian

Vertical lines, but only upon booting up

Hi,
my problem occurs (for now) only when booting up my mac and only, when it has been turned off for a few hours. When I start up, about one third of my screen (right side) stays black, then has only vertical lines in different colours, then image starts vibrating and after several minutes settles to normal function. I did a screenshot when the screen was vibrating and on the shot everything looks normal.
Since this only occurs when starting, Apple staff told me on the phone it shouldn't be a hardware error (mhm... is it really that easy?). Tried installing OS X anew and resetting PRAM, like they told me, but error stayed. Any other suggestions what might be the problem here or stuff i could try out (software-wise)?

DV file has vertical lines in the first photo of the
clip when played in QT 6.5.2. I've deleted the DV

It's not like I could do in the original project:
Focus on the offending first clip. That first clip is
now embedded into a DV clip with all the other clips.
Do I just duplicate another DV clip & go thru the
usual procedure to eliminate a clip with vertical
lines? But, even if I delete the corrupted clip, I
cannot replace it with a clean clip, due to the
corrupting process that apparently occurs when I
export my project to a DV clip.
Should I include a clean KB still at the beginning of
my project before exporting it to FQ DV? If so, how
do I delete that clip from the DV clip? It seems to
me, once you convert to a DV clip, all bets are off
re: editing individual components (clips) that make
up the DV clip.
Any thoughts, anyone?
Since I started three topics re: vertical line problems & now that, with help from all of you & my own struggles, I've solved the problem(s), I feel I owe an explanation of where I am now.
I thought all the stills I made to extend the duration of the KB clips in my projects were themselves KB clips. Not so. I did not render these clips as KB clips. Therefore, using these clips as place holders had no effect in removing the vertical lines.

More than one schedule line when 'Only complete delibery allowed'

Hi guys!!
I need your help to solve a problem with the shipping of our sales orders. We have a customer which has been set with 'C' 'Only complete delibery allowed' in the field 'partial delibery per item', but if a sales order is blocked because credit limit has been exceeded and we try to release the order, the system automatically set several schedule lines in the schedule lines tab of the sales order. I know afterwards the system will not allow us to delibery the order unless we ship the whole line, but Is there any way to avoid the system set more than one schedule line?

How many schedules are created. Normally if the system couldn't confirm the stock on the Requested Delivery date, then it will create one schedule line with zero quantity for that requested del date. Since it is a complete delivery, it should have only one more schedule line. If you have only two schedule lines, then it is working fine. If not, pl check the sales order whether that complete delivery is determined or not.

Vertical line when Swipe down for expose

Hi,
everytime i use 4 fingers swipe down / press F3 for expose, one vertical line comeout on middle of screen. this vertical line only appear when use that feature. need to know whether this vertical line is product's problem and how to solve it ?

The ADF uses its own glass area on the scanner bed, it is the narrow (about 1" wide) strip on the left. Cleaning this area should resolve the issue. A single small spot would cause the issue you are seeing.

Report O/P in graph.(all in one vetical line).

I want outpout in graph ..my requirement is i have to create a report equipment wise calculating oee in graphical format.
suppose i had a equipment ..in my report i have to calculate its idle time ,maintaince time and number of batches processed through it and number of best batches processed etc, my user want all this in one vertical line .
how to do that as iam calculating all this in differnt fields of itab i can show all this horizontally individually but in one verticle for
all the equipment how to do that .

How can I change the view in Show Page Source from one long line to a more readable view

When using Develop --> Show Page Source in Safari 6.0.1 I get a view of the html that is just one long line. I can scroll along to the right but it is not very easy to use.
It seems to me that when I first used this feature I had a formatted view, that is the text was broken into separate lines and was easier to read.
But I think I clicked on something and it change to one line. I can't find a way to change it back.
Is anyone familiar with this? Or can point me to more information about Show Page Source formatting?

Oh, I see the problem.
The one long line view only occurs when I'm viewing a page locally on my own computer. (When I choose Show Page Source for any page on the internet the display is formatted normally.)
So obviously if I want to see the code in my own files I can just go open them in the text editor. I used to use View Page Source (previous version of Safari) as a shortcut for a quick peek. If there is a solution to this formatting thing for local files I'd love to know it, otherwise I'll just put it on the you-can't-do-that-anymore list.

Single Vertical Line When Using ADF for Scan or Copy on HP Officejet Pro 8600

HP Officejet Pro 8600 Premium Printer (CN577A)
OS: MS 7 64 bit
When using the ADF for my CN577A HP Officejet Pro 8600 Premium printer, I get a single vertical line on the document that is produced. This occurs when copying or scanning, both in black and white, and in color. If I scan or copy using the glass, I don't get the vertical line.
I already tried the troubleshooting. I unplugged the printer, left it without power for several minutes; that didn't correct the problem. Next, I cleaned the rollers and the glass; I still get the vertical line, but only when using the ADF.
My firmware version used is current (CLP1CN1150CR).
What should I check next?

Mirror 2 Mirror--vertical lines during DVD player playback on Monitor 2

I have a gateway 22 inch and a RCA TV 40 inch. When I mirror to the RCA durring dvd playback i will see lines ONLY on the DVD window. It slowly scrolls. If i DO NOT mirror and just move the Player over from the gateway screen to the RCA screen, the Lines do not appear during playback. I want to mirror for my clients to see my VIDEO work on the Large TV..but it looks poor when I have slow moving vertical lines. How can I fix this? The vertical lines are ONLY in the DVD player window..the desktop part does not have the lines scrolling.

Red vertical lines at timeline while rendering+saving

Sometimes I get red vertical lines at timeline while rendering+saving my projects. What do they mean?

System ==> Mac mini (late 2009), CPU: 2.26GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, RAM: 2GB 1066MHz DDR3, OS: Mac OS X Version 10.6.5. Adobe products ==> Adobe Photoshop Elements 9 & Adobe Premiere Elements 9 (including Adobe Elements 9 Organizer)
Please notice that the the red vertical lines appear only in the TIMELINE and not to the video (rendered and/or exported) itself! I would guess that it has to do with the quality of the video, or with the fact that it is not rendered and these are the "difficult" pieces of the video, but I don't know so ... it would only be a guess.

[LaserJet Pro 200 color MFP M276nw] only vertical lines when scanning, scanner broken?

Hi all! I have a problem with the scanner in my HP all in one. If I scan (using the printer function or apples ImageCapture: same result) the output is just a lot of vertical stripes (in colors when in color mode). Not a trace of the image I try to scan. The lines are there even if i scan an empty white page. I see the stripes both when doing a preview scan and an actual scan. The problems are very similar regardless of if I use the flatbed or the feeder scanner (they are separate scanner hardware, yes?). I have updated to the latest software for the printer/scanner and I am connecting over bonjour via wireless. I am on Os X 10.9.1. Anybody having similar problems or is my scanner just plain broken? Now, so I know where to begin I'd need to know the following:If you are seeing the vertical lines when you copy as well as scan?Are you seeing the vertical lines when you copy from the flatbed? The document feeder? both?If you are seeing the lines from both the flatbed and the feeder are they in the same place?Once I know this I'll be better able to assist you.

HP LaserJet MFP M276n prints vertical lines only

We are using this printer as a stand alone printer to copy bulletins for our church each Sunday. It has been printing fine BUT we moved it to another table in the office and it quit copying from the top side. I can run test prints fine from the memory of the machine but it will not copy anything...we get vertical lines up and down the page. What have I done to it!

I see that you are having issues when copying, you are now getting vertical lines after moving the printer to another table in the office. I will do my best to assist you with this issue.
Most likely the printer is connected to a different power source since moving the printer, which can affect copying and scanning output.
Make sure the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet. (don't use a power hub or a surge protector) This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help this situation.
Try another outlet.

One pixel vertical line on new iMac 24" display - defective?

I have a one pixel vertical line that is fairly constant on my new (one week old) 24" iMac -- it sits there between the Edit and View mens mocking me, and runs the length (well, height) of the screen.
I've tried changing resolutions and resetting the SMC and neither seemed to do anything. My guess is it's defective, so I'm probably looking at a trip to our nearby Apple Store... the only thing is, I don't want to be without my computer for an extended period of time, since I use it for work and everything.
Is this the sort of thing that the Apple Store could order the new part and do the swap in house? If they replace the whole unit, could I put the existing HD in it? (of course the defect shows up right after I migrate and do all my upgrades, installs and patches)

I recently just had the LCD on my 24" imac replaced due to a stuck pixel. Without even bringing my imac into the apple store i told one of the genius bar associates about my problem and they ordered the LCD without even seeing my computer. They then called me when it came in and i took it down there for it to be replaced. I took it on a monday morning and i went and picked it up on tuesday. It is an in house repair so as long as they are not super busy you should not have to be without it for to long. I would try what i did, go in their without your imac first and tell them your issue and see if they will order the part. That way your not leaving your imac there while they order the part in.

Vertical lines, like a bar code, only when scanning or copying. Printing from computer is OK

I get vertical lines , in black & white & color, when scanning or copying.
When I print from my computer, all is OK.
The lines resemble a full page bar code. I have done a cold reboot & run the HP trouble shooter, all to no avail.
I do not see a bright light during scan or copy. Could the problem be a burnt out bulb?

It certainly could be a the scanner bulb. Do you have the printer connected directly to a wall outlet or is it in a surge protector or power bar? Even if you have been using a surge protector/power bar all this time and you feel it is not the cause, please connect it to a wall outlet just so we can eliminate the power source as the root cause. ^ This is not limited to Laserjet printers.
Let's perform a hard reset. To do so, leave the printer on and unplug the power cable for 1 minute. While it is unplugged, hold down the power button on the printer for 10-15 seconds to release any built up power, then after the minute has passed, plug the printer back in.

This appened when i was talking with a friend on Skype, by error i did click on the video and slowly the vertical lines appeared and covered all ma desktop. Since then, it still there and the only things i see it is the vertical lines and the arrow with the little square.
How can i fix this problem ?
En français: j'ai un IMac - Mac OSX version 10.4 et présentement je vois seulement des lignes verticales sur mon bureau et ma souris c'est-à-dire la flèche, bouge mais il y a un petit carré avec aussi des lignes verticales à sa droite. Je pense que ce bug est survenu lorsque j'étais sur Skype avec une amie et que par erreur j'ai cliqué sur l'image de la vidéo et peu à peu les lignes sont appurues et tout l'écran est envahie par ces lignes.

Hello, sounds like Video card and/or heat problems.
Have you blown the dust out lately? Let it cool for an hour or so.
Get Temperature Monitor to see if it's heat related...

One way to test is to Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, Test for problem in Safe Mode...
PS. Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive
Reboot, test again.
If it only does it in Regular Boot, then it could be some hardware problem like Video card, (Quartz is turned off in Safe Mode).
