Full Software wont install. Installation errors with Debug or Cancel.  If I debug with Visual Studio 2015 this is the exception: System.TypeInitializationException was unhandled

Hey ,  Welcome to the HP Support Forum.  I see that you're unable to install the drivers for your HP LaserJet Pro CM1415fnw Color MFP.  I'd like to work with you on this.  I have some suggestions that might result in a viable setup.   Try the following steps:  Clear Temp Folder:  Open the Run box by pressing the Windows + R keys'.  In the box that pops up type %temp% and hit enter.When the Temp folder opens select Ctrl + A at the same time on your keyboardOnce everything is highlighted in the Temp folder select 'Delete' on your keyboard to delete the files within the Temp folder. No files and folders on your actual computer will be removed. This will only delete Temporary files. If a file is still be used by a program on your computer you will get the pop up to 'skip' the item.Once the Temp files are deleted close the windowOn your Desktop, right click on the Recycling Bin and select Empty Recycling BinNext, run Microsoft Fix it.  Click here to install.  This utility might solve the install problem.  I also suggest updating the printer's firmware.  Connect your printer to the PC via usb (if possible) and click here to complete the firmware update.  If none of these steps are helping, you can do a selective start up on your PC working directly with MSCONFIG to try and determine what, if any Windows service or program is interfering with your ability to install the drivers.  Here's how:   Click on the Start menuIn the 'search programs and files' box right above Start, type msconfig and hit enter on your keyboardWhen the System Configuration Window opens click 'Selective Startup' and uncheck Load Startup ItemsClick the Services tab. Check the box at the bottom for Hide All Microsoft ServicesSelect Disable AllSelect Apply and OKRestart your computer when promptedAfter you reboot, try the install again.  If you're able to finish the setup we can safely assume there is a background program or service on your computer blocking the install.   • Software Installation Problems with Media Source and Nomad Explo

    Hello Creative Users,
    recently I had to reinstall my operating system on the PC. I have an IBM Thinkpad R30 with a Sitecom USB2.0 pccard. I am running WinXP Pro SP2 with all latest updates.
    I have a Nomad Jukebox Zen Xtra with Firmware .20.08 and an update harddri've of 80GB.
    As long as I was running the software on my previous installation everything worked fine.
    I installed the driver .26.02. This recognized the Jukebox. Musicmatch is able to communicate to the Jukebox and recognizes all files on it.
    When I installed Nomad Explorer I got an error ctregserv failed because ctin...dll is not found.
    When I tried to install Media Source from the original disk it showed an error after 30% Media Source not found. Install Media Source before continuing.
    This is what I received now with all verisons of Media Source and Noamd Explorer incl. .30.0.
    Can someone help me as synchronizing with Musicmatch is a pain.

    Hi everyone,
    as I saw many questions regarding installation problems with Mediasource or Nomad Explorer
    in this forum I will answer my own question right here. I was pointed to the answer by a friend with a similar problem on some other software.
    When trying to install the Creative software under WinXP SP2 I happens that the registration does not work. the reason are missing write attributes to the keys for
    Creative software. To correct that go to: Start, Run and enter regedit. Hit ok and you are in the registration editor.
    Find the Creative location unde HKEYS_SOFTWARE. Click right mouse button and choose
    properties.
    Check full access for your user as well the system user. click on advanced and mark both all the users you want to install from. Check the lower box below the user window sayin something about roghts being propagetd to lower folders etc. Cklick conform and ok, click confirm on previous screen and close regedit.
    Now you should be ok and able to install.

  • Blackberry Desktop Software Installation Problem

    I had a problem with Roxio Media Manager continuously wanting to reinstall.  So I fixed that problem and and uninstalled the Blackberry software. I then tried to re-install the Blackberry Desktop software so I can syncronize my contacts on my home computer.  I have tried this from a downloaded version 4.6 and with the version on my Blackberry CD.  Same problem with both.
    The install starts and asks for language, then the install starts for a couple of seconds.  Then I get this message:
    Error opening installation log file.  Verify that the specified log file location exists and is writable.
    I can't get past this message.  It does not say where the log file location is.  Other software installs, it is only Blackberry software that will not install.  I tried renaming CProgram Files\Common files\Installshield and making it read/write, but this install still fails with the same message.
    Any ideas to try?  Anywhere else that I can go for help?

    I unzipped the file, then I opened a cmd window and manually ran msiexec with your Blackberry msi file.  I added a /L flag to put the logfile into a local logfile.txt file and everything went fine.
    Perhaps you are specifying a problematic log file name, at least for my computer?
    Anyway, this new version of Blackberry software works fine for keeping my home contacts up-to-date with my work contacts.  I'm glad I was able to install it without the Roxio media manager.  That program was driving me crazy.

    ok take out battery put back in restart phone then select general profile and try again even try a diff usb port

  • Software installation problems

    I've tried probably 16 times now to install Maya 2015 on my brand new iMac (3TB hard drive space, running OS X 10.9.4). The installation process zips along in about 3 seconds and just says "Installation failed on Exit" Looking at the log, it looks like it's related to something called the MagicMenuEnabler within the Mac OS, but I'm not sure. Also, I should say that this is a brand new iMac but most of the files on it were restored from a Time Machine back-up. I have had a number of permission problems since the restore.

  • Photoshop software installation problem

    Hello,
    am having trouble re-installing my Photoshop software (version 5.5). After installation I can't open the program. I get an error message:
    could not load actions because an unexpected end-of-file was encountered.
    could not initialize Photoshop because the preferences file was invalid (it has been deleted)
    I am not savvy enough to know waht to do. Can anybody help please?

    Recently i install Server 2008R2. And also create a domain controller. In this domain controller i create a OU and create a child OU. In child OU i create 2 child OU. One for Computers and others for Users. I want to install software in this OU of computers.
    But the main problem is when i create a GPO to install software when i link msi file to the GPO it give me message "cannot verify path is a network location. If this package is not available from a network share, clients will not be able to install it. Are
    you sure you want to deploy this package using this path?" i press ok. I update my group policy from command prompt. what can i do now?

    You'll have to specify the UNC (\\server\share) to the MSI. Also you need to give read permissions to Authenticated Users at share/NTFS level (used by the computer account to access the MSI)

  • Netweaver trial software installation problem.

    Hi i am posting this first time so if any mistake in reposting sorry.
    i am trying to install NetWeaver 7.10 trial version, on my lap top
    Win VISTA, 2 gb memory, 31gb free HardDrive space. i tried to install several times

  • SOftware installation problems with x-fi xtreme music - he

    I just installed the card into my computer.
    Of course I wanted to install the latest drivers so I went to creative support and chose everything properly. I downloaded "Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi series Driver 2.07.0004"
    When I clicked on the downloada exe file I got message "error code 5002" and it wouldn`t install. Then i went to crati've site once again and looked for that error code - they don`t have anything on that!
    Then I manually unpacked exe and started setup.exe - it worked this time. And now I got some "creative audio console". When I click on it I get apparently some cripeled version of software, since there is no equlizer controles and where is that fancy THX setup huh?
    I was angry, because all the sites that tested x-fi had some pictures of that management software looking like this http://techreport.com/reviews/2005q4/soundblaster-x-fi/index.x?pg=4
    -Why do i have some cripeled sound controls with half the features missing anyway. I tried to figure out the drivers version on that sites and it was "Creative 5.2.5.4"; why was then I offered the "Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi series Driver 2.07.0004" as the latest drivers on creative support site?
    I tried to run some aditional setups in unpacked drivers from the creative; namely the setup.exe in "AUDCON" folder, but then I get the error code 6003.

    Boy I'm sure glad I found this thread as I to just received and installed my new X-fi card, then went to Creatives drivers section online and got the drivers (They scanned my puter and said you need this one > critical) and once done I'm looking for my "Cool Blue" tools as I to got that error message on the first CD install but finally got the drop down menu deal from the top of my monitor screen.. I took you guys advise about putting the CD back in again and it was NOTHING like the first time I installed it..Cool graphics and sounds came blasting through my Bose..Sweet.. It was like a totally different set-up from the first and now my new drop down menu has all kinds of cool stuff on it and I now also have an Icon on my desktop.. Thanks to the guy who was peed off and posted or I never would have found my answer from you others. :smileyvery-happy: Winamp sounds GREAT now on the jazz stations..

  • HP Envy 4500 software installation problems

    I just purchased an HP Envy 4500e all in one printer. I cannot install the driver by CD or download. I get an error message which says: "the procedure entry point EncodePrinter could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL 32.dll."
    Is this something that can be corrected? What steps do I use? Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Hi,
    What operating system you are using? is it Windows XP?
    Right click on My Computer, then select Properties.
    What is your exact OS version? what Service Pack version is listed?
    By searching the net, a such is likely to occour on Windows XP Service Pack 2 or below, be aware that the printer require SP3 and that might be the cause.

    I see that yous are having issue setting up the cp1025nw on the 10.8.
    You can configure the printer on the wireless network through ethernet cable without any software.
    Restore the printer back to factory settings if not already setup on the network from another computer.

    Connect the network cable to the product and to the router. (temporary)
    Wait about 1 minute and then print a configuration page.
    (select operating system then select Method one.)

    Use the ip address from the configuration page and type it in the address bar of browser (internet explorer, safarari)
    This will open the embedded web server for the printer.
    Select the networking tab, select wireless on the left side, set it to infrastructure and put in encrytian
    (network passwords) apply then remove the ethernet cable from the printer.
    Should have a solid blue light in about 1 minute.
    Then on the mac just add the printer with the airprint driver.
    Click on the Apple, click System & Preferences, and then click the Print & Scan icon,click add a printer, then select the printer from the list, make sure the name listed beside use: shows airprint, select add.
    Test the printer on the wireless now.

It gets stalled at Step 15 of 31 which is Creating database schema. Another interesting thing we noticed is that during this step is that CPU reaches 100%. It shows the below message in the Trace.

    This problem was already put by Tarun, but there is no detail on how he solved that problem.

    I am also facing the same problem. We are using Windows XP Professional with 1GB RAM and 2.8 GHz processor. The task manager is showing 100% CPU usage. The SAPInst process is taking up 99% of the CPU load but only occupying 1M of RAM. The java process is taking up 107MB of memory. Do you by any chance found a solution to the problem?

  • Components/Software Installation Problem for Adobe Form

    Hi all,
    I am new to developing Adobe forms. I only experience in smartforms on SAP R/3 environment.
    To start doing Adobe form, I have installed Adobe LiveCycle Designer ES (Is it correct?), .net Framework 2.0, SAP GUI 7.1. I already have Adobe Reader 7.0 on my desktop.
    However, when i created a form in Tcode SFP, I couldn't open the layout, prompted me error and forced to exit.
    Then I configured Adobe Document Services for Adobe Reader 7.0 but in vain. Actually i am not sure how to get Adobe document services and not sure whether really need it.
    Can anyone help?

    All SAPWIN-type device types cannot be supported with the Adobe technology alone. See also the new development  PPDFPRINT 7.20 in Note 1444342.
    You can print PDF-based forms on all printers installed in the SAP system as long as the relevant XDC file (printer definition in XML format) exists. SAP delivers XDC files for the following SAP standard device types:
    - POST2 - PostScript
    - HPLJ4 - PCL black and white
    - HP9500 - PCL color
    - PDF1 - PDF
    - AZPL203 - ZPL (Zebra label printing)
    - AZPL300 - ZPL (Zebra label printing)
    You can modify XDC files yourself within a limited scope. Documentation about this is available on SAP Service Marketplace at

    These XDC files must be saved at runtime on the host that also contains the Adobe Document Services. The exact path
    usrsap<SID>SYSglobalAdobeDocumentServiceslib.
    In addition to the XDC file, an entry must also exist in the TSP0B table on the SAP system. This entry assigns an SAP device type to an XDC file. Only if the assignment entry exists, you can print PDF-based forms on the printers with the relevant device type. You can maintain the TSP0B table with the RSPO0022 report. Refer to the online documentation for information
    about how to use the report.Important: You cannot change the XDC files delivered by SAP or the TSP0B entries. If a change is required nevertheless, you should first create a copy of the relevant device type with another name in transaction SPAD.
    Then create a copy of the XDC file with a different name and make the relevant changes. The new XDC file must be copied to the directory mentioned above on the server that contains the Adobe Document Services.

    I invite you to:
    1- Unistall/remove all the network printers installed by your PC
    2- Unistall/remove all the drivers installed by your PC specially the HP Universal driver
    3- Delete/remove all HP software files from your PC (C: / register..)
    4- Disable the Antivirus(es) and the Firewall then download again the HP Full Solution Software corresponding to your OS
    5- Disable the HP Smart install from the printer's menu (or from its Web page if you can connect it to network)
    6- Disable the HP Web services (by default this feature is disabled, then just go through the panel menu and confirm that, here you use the printer by USb so no need for this feature)
    7- Run/launch the installation by executing the setup file and be sure to maintain the printer unplugged to your PC, no USB connection at this step.
    8- Run the OS/PC device manager to check/update the USB port/driver connection-add during the printer's USB plugging (you plug the USB cable to the printer when the installation guide asks you (3rd step))
    9- Continue the installation and let's see if it can finish correctly and succeed without delay or error.
    10- Check a Print test page, Fax feature and the Scan module.
    Note: This can lead to a Full software installation, but if you just need a printing driver only you can try the same steps, although you will download and install an UPD Driver through a traditional mode (LPT1 port)
    Try to use this method for the first time when the network printers are still installed and try to see if it goes fine otherwise you step for the steps given (1-10)
    Please tell me what kind of OS you are running on your PC.
    Please tell me if this procedure is helping, then if not I can provide you with a new solution.
    Please upgrade the printer's firmware through USB connection if possible (or Ethernet like step5)

         I have a HP laserjet CM1415fnv that has a major driver issue under Windows 8.1 64-bit.  The printer just stopped working and I found that I could not even remove the printer from Devices and printers without causing an issue.  Ifg I try to remove the printer from D&P the Print spooler service crashes and I have this event in my event log:

    If I am able to make the printer disappear from D&P and I try to reinstall the printer software I'm greeted with this:

    I see that you are having issues with the printer software using Windows 8.1. I will try my best to help you out.
    Did you download the latest drivers for Windows 8.1? HP LaserJet Pro CM1415fnw Color Multifunction Printer Drivers.
    Restart the Print Spooler and clear out the spool folder:
    Hold down the Windows Logo key () on the keyboard and the 'R' to open the run box, type Services.msc .
    Double-click Printer Spooler in the Services list.
    Click on the Stop button and click OK.
    Hold down the Windows Logo key () on the keyboard and the 'R' to open the run box, type"%WINDIR%\system32\spool\printers, then delete all files in this folder.
    Go back to services by holding down the Windows Logo key () on the keyboard and the 'R' to open the run box, type Services.msc again.
    Double-click Printer Spooler in the Services list.
    Click on the Start button. In the Start up Type list, make sure that Automatic is selected and click OK.
    Run the uninstall from the CD, just to remove any software that did install.
    Temporarily turn off any Antivirus Software to make sure there is no interference.
    Then run the software again, follow this document immediately after connecting the USB cable, to update the drivers before the software errors out again. A Fatal Error Displays During Software Installation.
    Please provide in detail the results if you are still having issues.
